Kristy is amazing!!! I went to her randomly (was looking for any reputable stylist with availability in the greater LA area) as an emergency after a different salon fried my hair. She was extremely attentive, empathetic, and kind. We had to chop off all my hair due to the extent of the damage but the cut she left me with was exactly what I wanted, I keep getting compliments. Additionally, she deep conditioned my hair for free to see if it could help save more of my hair. She also gave me the courage to advocate for myself at the other salon that destroyed my hair. She is wonderful and talented. I will be coming back!!!

Great salon! Kristy is amazing, kind, and spent the time to understand my hair. Brandon cuts my husband's hair, and consistently does a great job. And we love supporting a sustainable salon that uses vegan and cruelty-free products. Can’t recommend Liberated Salon enough!

May is so wonderful! I came in for highlights and a big hair cut (about 7 inches) and I could not have asked for a better stylist! She was so thoughtful in asking questions about what I wanted in my cut+color, and she consistently checked in to make sure I was comfortable and happy with what she was doing! She stayed at the salon late to fit me in, and she was so much fun to chat with! She went above and beyond, already looking forward to my next apt!

Wonderful vibe in this Atwater salon. Mae is a color maven and brightened my dull suburban color. Vegan and healthy color and producrs. I cant wait to see Brandon. He is soulful and a man with talent and purpose. I found my salon and feel gorgeous.

I love the haircut I got. David did a great job and he was very polite. However, my appointment got pushed back 30 minutes and still when I arrived at the salon the door was locked as I was the first person there. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes in the street before they opened the door. Their prices are on the higher side.

I got a pixie haircut from Lana and I LOVE it. I was originally booked with Brandon but was serviced by Lana and really appreciated her attention to detail, our conversation, and how she made me feel during the haircut. Highly recommend!

Kelsi at Liberated Salon performed a miracle-- this was my first time at a salon but it wont be my last. she was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and skillful. her insight and instincts soared above and beyond expectations. She followed covid19 guidelines carefully and made me feel safe. This is literally, without hyperbole, my favourite haircut I have ever gotten. she got me lookin' wicked cute.

As long as Sonja is a stylist in L.A., I will be going to her. I decided to finally take the dive and get my hair professionally colored. Sonja not only gave me what I wanted, she made it better than I could have pictured. I went from brassy blonde to a very natural, yet edgier beige blonde that looks amazing with my skin tone. She also shaped my growing-out hair cut in minutes with an understanding of how to cut fine hair that I haven't come across before. I usually don't like my haircut for a good week or so after getting it, and she sent me away feeling great immediately. So glad I went to her!

Nicole cut my partner’s hair completely different than the inspiration photo. He wanted a trim and she completed changed the shape of his hair which he loved. Our wedding is in two months and this has been upsetting.

This is a great salon/ experience. The decor is really cool and Brandon offers artists the platform to showcase their work. Also, there is a cool Hollywood/ rock/ punk vibe that captures the personality of the salon. Brandon is highly skilled in his trade and his talents enable him to deliver a flawless conservative style or create an original alternative asymmetrical do that perfectly captures the personality of his client! Brandon also uses organic products and is focused on ensuring the hair care leveraged meets ethical standards. I’ve never had a bad haircut 💇 here or an experience lacking. Lastly, Brandon loves animals and has helped to support shelters with donations. Liberated is the bomb!
