I love my new cut! These ladies are here to SLAY and NOT to play! I got the mini version of the infamous Kelly Cut and I'm in love!! D was great!! The consultation explaining my options for my hair type, superb client services and truly a gem!! It's giving personality, style and pizzazz with a side of classy but sassy and so much more. I'm excited about my hair journey with D and Like The River salon!! Thank you so much!

The salon is nice and professional But honestly that $50 consultation fee that does not carry over to your hair price is ridiculous. And there was no consultation given. Also. I asked for a style/pic that came from their salon but did not get what I asked for. Over all it's a lot of hype. But worth the try, I guess. It's very pricey.

I relocated to Middle Georgia couldn't found no one to do my hair right for the last year my hair been through a lot and damage. But Ms. Crystal was my angel and got my hair in order and a nice short cut. Not allow she know her stuff and care about your hair but give the best hair massage. Literally the best salon experience Ive ever had. They are professional, give a lux experience, wont overcharge for no reason and offer refreshments. The shampoo process is absolutely amazing and isnt rushed! Crystal is my stylist and she is bomb. Im in awe!

Very disappointed after explaining and displaying the cut that I desired, or as similar as possible, yet the stylist cut my hair off, at least 4-5 inches shorter leaving my hair 1-2 inches short. I reminded her before and during that she was cutting my hair too short, to no avail. She cut it in the style she liked rather than I liked. Now all I can do is wear it flat until it grows out again. Secondly during the paid consultation, the cost of services were never mentioned, I didn’t ask, because I don’t go anywhere that I can’t afford the service, but never would I imagine the cost at $205, which I would have appreciated if in fact my hair was cut at least similar to what I requested. I watched them for more than a year and decided they would be the go to shop. Big mistake. Joycelyn Lee

I am not usually trusting of what I see on IG because it’s so easy to make yourself look great. But, there was something special about Najah’s energy that seems to come right through the screen. And, my instincts were correct! Not only is she an awesome stylist, she’s also an awesome spirit. This salon is a whole vibe … one I intend to support for a very long time. I am so happy with my decision to travel [from a non-neighboring state] to Like The River salon for my appointment with Crystal! The services I received were a relaxer, haircut and style. Crystal was so patient with me, as I had a battery of questions because of some specific circumstances regarding the current state of my hair. Summarily, my hair and hairstyle turned out GREAT! I went to this Salon Friday March 10th and my Beautician was Ms. Toitti Simmons and she was Fantastic....the Salon was Beautiful with a Lovely atmosphere.....if you need a Professional to do your hair ...I recommend this Salon....I had Locs an Ms. Simmons gave me a whole New makeover that my Husband loved!!!! Go...Go...Go....Believe me, you definitely will not be disappointed....They are the Real Deal an know their Skills are Fire!!!

After watching The salons instagram , specifically Najah , I was so excited to finally get an appointment! At the time of booking , I paid $250 to cover the cost of consultation and deposit. Once I arrived , the vibe of the salon was OFF ! Not only was Najah late , she acted like I was an inconvenience. She then offered a “consultation” which consisted of her tooting her nose up and barely touching my hair. She spent less than 5 minutes on my hair , and did not offer any other alternatives. It would be fine if she could not complete service but in addition she kept my $250, offered no apologies for her tardiness and walked away without a word. I will not be returning ! Overall very unprofessional and unwelcoming.

I found this salon on instagram and been following this salon for quite some time. I was a little concerned because sometimes what you see online isn’t what you get and I read some of the yelp reviews. I traveled from AZ to get my hair done and let me tell you. The atmosphere, knowledge and customer service was amazing. My stylist Dee was so professional and honest. I had some breakage in my hair and she cut and styled my hair like no other. She didn’t try and up-sale me with things for my hair , she was simply honest. I appreciate this experience and will definitely travel from out of town anytime to get my hair done by Dee. Thank you Dee your such a sweetheart.

I was lucky enough to book a Transformation Tuesday and it was the best haircut ever. Najah is a master stylist who is Incredible at her craft. She knows her stuff and her styling room is like a premium toy store for haircare - a curated version of the latest tools, products and accessories are all on display - just add Najah. Najah took her time to consult with me and discuss my wants and then she proceeded to give me a personalized take on one of her specialty cuts - the pixie - with a little bit of magic. I thought I was going to get a haircut - but she was right - once you get in her chair, it is a transformation. You just move differently after your hair has been styled by Najah. ps - it’s been a year since my haircut and my cut has now grown out and it still seems like a fresh cut because Najah knows what she’s doing - a professional, a gifted artist, and a master craftswoman!

Several months ago, my grandmother and I went to Like The River Salon, looking for an expert to do natural hair. My grandmother is a cancer survivor and after the regrowth of her hair, it was difficult to find someone who she trusted to handle her new short curls. She went to Like the River Salon a few days ago, and the much saught After a look, she had been hoping for, had finally been achieved by one of their expert stylist! Thank you so much for the wonderful stylist who assisted my grand mother in regaining confidence in her beautiful hairdo! I will definitely be scheduling my appointment as well for my birthday next week !

My stylist is Dani and she is truly skilled and talented. Kuddos to her. I have grey hair and after a perm it turns fifty shades of purple. She knew how to bring the vibrant white back to my hair effortlessly. That is the true test to a professional. Plus she was pleasant and personable. My style made her IG page which was very flattering for a first time client. It will not be my last. Love Like The River Salon!
