Update: the owner reached out to me and made an attempt to rectify things. For that level of professionalism, I’m moving my review back up to five stars because this really is an amazing place and I am loyal to people who do the right thing. I’ve visited this massage studio twice, and my experiences were completely different. My first session with Alicia was fantastic—she was warm, attentive, and proactive about communication, constantly checking in about pressure and comfort. My second visit with Hilde, however, felt far less professional. She didn’t check in about pressure until I mentioned sensitivity in my legs, at which point she responded with a quick, “Just let me know,” but offered no proactive guidance beforehand. Her approach felt abrupt at times, like when she pulled the pillow from under my feet without saying anything, which came across as dismissive rather than considerate. While I initially felt okay after the massage—just slightly sore—I’m now dealing with lingering pain in my right shoulder over a week later, to the point where I’m considering seeing a doctor. Because my first visit was so positive, I know this isn’t the standard for the studio. However, based on this experience, I wouldn’t book with Hilde again.

Very clean, care about their customers' experience. Masseuse was very good at finding exact spots of muscle tension, made good use of the total time for massage.

Were visiting from out of town and booked a couples massage with my partner. One of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had, booking was easy, the place was very clean and welcoming, and the massages were excellent! (We had Hilde and Tanz) Looking forward to coming back next time we’re in the area!

Had the pleasure of getting a quick CBD massage here on my business trip and it was amazing. I wish I had more time to have a longer session. The therapist was very skilled and kind. This is a black owned business I would highly recommend!

I am definitely coming back here! My masseuse was amazing! She listen to all my concerns and try to focus on what I asked. She massages thoroughly with power! You can ask her for gentle massage if you want! Place was clean and simple but comfortable. The price is so reasonable and affordable compared to other massage shops!

This is my favorite place for massages in Chicago. I love the safety, security, and cleanliness of this spa. The space is calming and clean. I love that they have you take shoes off and provide you with sandals. Everytime I’ve been here the masseuses are kind, and they listen to what you want!! I can’t tell you how many massages I’ve had where the masseuse just does whatever they want without taking into account what you need/asked for. Loree and Hilde are absolutely magical. I have recommended this place to friends and I will continue to book here and tell everyone about it.

I spent 60 minutes with Tangela. She was really kind. She asked me questions to know more about how I'm using my body and check my mobility before starting the massage. She knew how to adapt to my specific needs. I feel so much better now, even if I didn't know that I needed it! Calm and quiet atmosphere. The place is really clean. I highly recommend you book an appointment at LillieAnn's. You will feel the difference!

Love every time I come here. Dorothy is phenomenal!!!! Very thorough and complete. Proper strength shown and she varies depending on her technique she is utilizing. Excellent therapist. I would encourage any and all to go and try it out firsthand

Ehh, definitely something I am not use to far as payment. If I pay online charge it and go about your day. Also this massage was a 6/10 for me. I have had wayyyy better for about the same amount if not cheaper. It helped relieved some tension but ehh and normally I can tell I had a massage but everything was dry. I would not even recommend to my dead grandmother at this point.

I was very disappointed. I was given a gift certificate for this place. First and foremost everything is automated, so no contact with a human. I show up to my appointment with the doors locked and closed sign up. I waited almost 20 min in case they were running late. No one showed up. I really hope they don't charge me the $25 no show fee... Just an update..... I was reached out by LillieAnn's about my frustration and they we able to reschedule me and Sarah did a really great job of making sure that I felt welcome and did a great job on my massage giving me some extended time and working her magic

I've been going here for massages since 2018 and have had nothing but great massages every time. I've seen Roslyn several times and she's a star at attuning to where my body needs particular attention on any given day. She asks questions to understand mobility and functional movement I engage in (due to work, etc) and customizes her massages to address those needs. I always feel much more relaxed and far less tense when I leave than I do when I arrive. I have chronic pain/tension in my neck/shoulders, so I appreciate that Roslyn provides recommendations about ongoing treatment so that I can be more proactive rather than reactive in effort to reduce pain long-term.

Just had a massage with Hilde and it was fantastic. Perfect amount of pressure (medium hard), lots of elbow and forearm pressure over the long muscle groups. Perfect mix of lengthening and working on tight areas. Hildy rocks!! Also experienced Sarah a few months ago - all great things to share for her too. She was really interested in my body history and any specific places I wanted to work on, suggested specific therapies for specific areas. Great pressure and joint manipulation. Very relaxing!

Ms. Tanz has the hands of a healer! I received a full body massage with a focus on my lower back. Her pressure was spot on and she precisely worked out my pains through various points throughout my body. I can't wait to book with her again and try out her other services. I walked away floating from the experience, not only physically in better shape, but mentally as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

UNRELIABLE. NEVER SHOWED UP TWICE. As someone eagerly looking forward to a massage session to alleviate my sore back, I had high expectations based on the reputation of LillieAnn's. Regrettably, my experience was marked by significant inconvenience and disappointment. Firstly, I scheduled my session for today and even took half of the day off work to make the appointment. However, upon my arrival at 11 AM, I found the parlor to be unexpectedly closed. This was particularly disconcerting as there was no prior communication from LillieAnn's regarding any changes to their operating hours or my scheduled appointment. Furthermore, I attempted to contact the parlor both before and after arriving at the scheduled time, but my calls went unanswered. There was also no follow-up communication from the business, leaving me in a state of confusion and frustration. It's important to mention that this is not the first time I've encountered this issue with LillieAnn's. On a previous occasion, a similar situation occurred where the lack of communication led to inconvenience.

First time at lillieAnn's this past weekend, and oh my goodness! I get messages regularly, and this was one of my absolute favorites of all time. I have been dealing with terrible back pain and when I walked out of my 75 minute appointment with Keyona, I walked home pain-free for the first time in months. She is charming and lovely to talk to and put me at ease instantly, and she is amazing at what she does... it was such a wonderful experience. Highly HIGHLY recommend!

What can I say - I’m continuously impressed by lillieAnn’s. I’ve now been going for about 8 months and have had massages by three different therapists who have all been wonderful. The space is welcoming, clean and peaceful. Wouldn’t go anywhere else, highly recommend!
