I’ve been to several places in the city & NJ for electrolysis and Limoges is by far the best. I’ve been coming here for a few years (with only occasional touch ups now) and have worked with the entire team - the results are amazing and they take great care of your skin. The office is also clean & relaxing, and they’re super responsive and flexible for scheduling appointments. Can’t recommend enough!!

Just thinking about Limoges electrolysis and skin care and how wonderful Emily and her team are. I had been going to Limoges for facial electrolysis for a few years and have not had to return, even for a touch up. I have total respect and accolades for the work that Emily does. She is a perfectionist who is totally competent, professional and caring. She is the gold standard. I recommend her and her team to anyone who wants to have unwanted hair permanently removed.

Update 2024! I’ve been coming to Limoges Beauty since 2020 starting out with a complete electrolysis package and now just touch ups. Having gone to laser and other electrolysis clinics, this place has it down to an art and science. The treatment barely hurt but most importantly they work! Thank you Emily and team ! ——- What a great experience at Limoges Beauty. I'm in the healthcare industry so I notice just about everything. The office was sparkly clean, equipment was up to date; items in the office were organized- these things are a big indicator for treatment and quality control. Bedside manner, explanation through treatment was great too. This is not my first electrolysis establishment and Dominique was super gentle and thorough. I left buying a package because, hey, when you get quality you should stick to it.

I have been coming here for electrolysis and the results are amazing! I am basically hair free other than minor touch ups! Wenya has been working with me from the beginning and I always book my appointments with her. She is extremely knowledgeable in the field and very meticulous with her work! I’ve been going to this place for electrolysis for over a year and a half. I was always scared to let someone do anything on my face cause I’m super sensitive, until I met Wenya!!! Wenya is literally the kindest human being and the most knowledgeable person! Just trust the process and let her do whatever she needs to do!

Wenya is the best electrologist! Kind, professional, and efficient. With her, I have no scabbing and much less redness compared to my previous electrolysis experiences. I think a lot of that comes down to Wenya's expertise -- she is precise with the machine's settings and is also very hygienic with all tools and products she uses. It's such a relief to work with a specialist you can trust!

This place is really exceptional. Non-descript office building and then a long hallway… but then you open the door to a tranquil oasis where smiling faces greet you and the service is exceptional - with very reasonable prices! Top notch- can’t recommend highly enough.

After years of laser hair removal on my chin and neck without any improvement, my derm told me to try electrolysis. I’ve been seeing Corley at Limoges for electrolysis for about 9 months now and she’s a gentle, thorough queen 👸🏼 and I’m absolutely thrilled to be seeing results. The salon owner Emily is super knowledgeable and experienced (and an absolute gem) and everyone who works there is so lovely and professional that I’m planning to also switch my Botox and facial providers to the ladies at Limoges !

From what I’ve researched prior to doing electrolysis, the process can be somewhat painful and significant results require some patience. I have been going to Limoges for a few months now and can honestly say my experience so far has been amazing .. Jane has been my technician and she is gentle, consistent, caring, with comforting bedside manner. There’s definitely a little pinch, but it’s minimal and surprisingly enough, my results have shown rather quick! Super professional and sweet staff all around, and the office is clean as a whistle! My fellow ladies who suffer from PCOS, please give Limoges a try .. I was self conscious about my chin hair for years, wasting precious time plucking away stubble almost every other day. Now sometimes I forget I even had problem hair to begin with, as my growth between sessions has slowed down immensely! Thank you for making my first experience with electrolysis so pleasant and successful. I’m glad I chose it!

Had my first session with Corley and she was amazing! Was not satisfied with my previous electrolysis person and was seeking a new practice and switched to this office! Would highly recommended her, she was so gentle, accommodating and patient. Will be seeing her again for the rest of mg treatment.

I bought a package in 2021. I paid about $2,200. I have 0 results. While yes the appointments were great and everyone was nice I have no results. I was told I might have to get my hormones checked and I did, everything was found to be normal. What I do have are bumps and painful ingrown hairs. Way worse than when I did not touch the hairs at all and its been over a year since. Again the technicians were great, but the process was very painful and I do not have a single result to show for it. It was a waste of my money. Never again.

I’m so happy with my experience here. Wenya was super informative with explaining treatment options to me and took the time to let me address any concerns. She also was careful, gentle, quick and efficient with the time she spent doing electrolysis. I have had prior bad experiences other places and thought that maybe I wasn’t the best candidate because of the way my skin was reacting— Coming to Limoges really showed me that I was receiving bad treatment other places. Cannot recommend this place enough— they are professional, thorough and result oriented!

I’ve been going to Limoges for over a year and my experience has been nothing but wonderful. I have been treating multiple areas of concern with amazing results and my sessions having decreased in time overtime. I work with Wenya and she’s amazing, always very attentive, professional, and caring. All staff are very friendly and accommodating. The place is super nice, clean, and has a very relaxing ambiance. All in all, I am so glad I have started my electrolysis journey, and I seriously can’t recommend them enough!

After years of waxing, I finally decided to try electrolysis. My dermatologist recommended Limoges and I'm so happy she did. When I first started about 2 years ago, Dani was my technician and she was great--she thoroughly explained the process and tailored the service to my specific needs. A few months in, Dani left and I began working with Wenya. Wenya is fantastic. She's speedy but careful and attentive and super friendly. I feel so confident with her expertise. I'm thrilled with the results and I only wish I did electrolysis with Wenya at Limoges years and year ago!

Limoges has been my go to for hair removal. I have been going to Limoges for almost two years now and have had amazing results. While electrolysis takes longer than laser, it is 100% worth it for the best results. Wenya has been amazing at helping me achieve my goals, especially with my wedding around the corner. She is a perfectionist who makes my sessions leave me feeling more confident. I have also done botox at limoges and stephanie has been great for the baby botox natural look! Definitely recommend!

During the pandemic, my favorite electrologist had to close shop on Long Island and I'd been looking for a new studio in the city. I booked an appointment at Limoges Beauty Skin Care & Electrolysis after reading really positive Google reviews. Booking an appointment at Limoges was a struggle. It involved 2 months of scattered texting from a receptionist at the studio, a conversation in which I had to do all the following up to ask about availability and refresh the receptionist's memory. Finally, I was able to secure an appointment and went to the studio. It was easy to find, but there was no one at reception to greet me. When they were ready to see me, it was already a couple minutes into when my appointment was supposed to start. They asked me to fill out a bunch of paperwork, which they had supposedly also emailed me. Turns out, despite my texting them my email address, they had entered it wrong in their system. After expressing some frustration and panic that we were handling these tasks within my appointment time, the receptionist decided that I could do it after my appointment. I was escorted to the back by the electrologist. Her name was Dani and she was very nice, but nervous. She started to educate me about electrolysis but I told her I was already quite familiar since I'd been having electrolysis for a number of years prior to visiting Limoges. The electrologist began working on my feet and I could sense that she wasn't getting the right angle to the follicle because she kept whispering frustrated remarks. She also took 2 minutes to take out one hair. I told her I sensed a plucking sensation, and it was clear that she was breaking hairs instead of pulling them out fully. She adjusted the heat. She mentioned the hair was very dry. I was skeptical, but I assumed she'd get more comfortable and quicker as the appointment went on. She took a full 30 minutes to take out 24 hairs. When we hit 30 minutes, we hadn't gotten all the hair out that I'd planned for, and I even said that I was shocked that it was taking so long. My former electrologist would get dozens of hairs out in a minute. Dani extended the appointment by a bit so we could finish the service. After the appointment, I went home and examined the area. There had been several ingrown hairs on my feet, which I assumed the electrologist would untangle and remove, but nope, they were still there. I was disappointed by this lack of care, but I resolved to wait a few weeks for results. Fast forward 3 weeks later, all the hair grew back and MORE. I called Limoges to figure out what happened. No one answered so I left a message, explaining their hair growth. Later, the owner, Emily, herself called and left a message on my voicemail. The tone was very defensive. Without saying anything specific about the appointment and my experience, she went on about all the years of experience she had, about how she personally trained all the electrologists herself and while other studios _do_ pluck, her electrologists do not, that I was probably going through hormonal changes, etc. To put it frankly, it was gaslighting. It does not take 2 weeks for hair to grow back from a touch-up electrolysis session— period. I'd been really polite and patient up till this moment, but it was hard to keep giving the salon the benefit of the doubt. I'd been so swayed by the positive reviews on Google that I kept ignoring red flags that I was seeing and experiencing. I returned Emily's call but no one answered. I left a message. I called several more times, but to no avail. I finally tried texting the receptionist and they apologized and let me know they issued a refund. Emily herself sent me a rude email, suggesting that I was making up a negative experience because I didn't want to pay for the service. To be clear, I never asked for or expected a refund; I asked for an explanation and I wanted them to correct their mistake. I would caution against visiting this salon. Maybe they were good at some point, but my experience from June 2022 was not a positive one.

FINALLY I have found a solution!! I was looking for years to find an electrolysis who specializes in blond hair and was so relieved to finally find one! Saved my life before my wedding and I’ve continued my treatments after. My face has never looked better!Such a great experience! If you have unwanted light blond hair that laser hair removal can’t pick up, you MUST try. The results are amazing!!

Wenya is my go-to electrologist and I'm very happy with the concern & care she consistently provides. Not all beauty practitioners know how to properly treat darker complexions; my hair removal process has been progressing very nicely under Wenya's care & I plan to be a client for as long as need be. 5 stars!

I’ve been going to Limoges for a little over a year now and have been able to go from 45 minute sessions to almost 5 minutes with consistent visits thanks to Wenya’s skill and attention to detail. The atmosphere at Limoges is clean and calm & the staff is super welcoming and accommodating to schedules/ delays (especially with NYC trains and traffic). I would definitely recommend this business for anyone that wants to start an electrolysis journey.

Jane did a wonderful, professional intake appointment and sample for me. She was knowledgeable and gentle. Unfortunately, when I came back for a second appointment, the studio was drenched in a perfume that I'm extremely allergic to, and I had to leave. The head of the studio called me to say that she would not charge me for the "missed appointment" but that in the future I would be charged for appointments no matter what. She also said they would continue to use the same type of scented products in the space. This is a perfectly lovely place if you are not allergic to perfumes, and I'm sorry I won't be able to keep working with Jane. It's unfortunate that they are more committed to using scent diffusers than to having an accessible space.

This review is long overdue! I’ve been seeing Stephanie for Botox for roughly three years. She is so wonderful and sweet. My favorite thing about her is how honest she is and doesn’t pressure me into more treatment/units at any point. I’ve always felt comfortable going to her and have referred so many people because I know how stressful it is to find someone you trust!
