What I wanted verse what I got this is so ugly big and the hair wasn’t blended in like it suppose to be Lina didn’t have a care in the world about a dissatisfied customer especially when you didn’t get the style right if you can’t do it say so! after all the money I spent here. Not coming back again! $120 for this mess I have been coming to lina for five years.

They are giving huge parts where you cant see it unlese you check throughly leading to very thin looking styles.....Had a 10am appointment didn't have anyone available until 11. Showed very clear pictures of the style and size I wanted instead they put HUGE parts on the bottom of the style and gave a very rushed version of a completely different style. They lead me to believe they would correct the issue and instead took they style down and told me I can leave. Trash!

I went there today thinking I was going to get a style that I wanted. Instead of saying you can not do the hair style in the picture that I provided to them(small feed in braids going up into a ponytail.) They stylist proceed to put huge braids in my hair. The stylist was mad because I kept telling her the braids was to big. I asked the stylist if I can get another style since the one I asked for did not come out right. The stylist step away to talk to the owner. She come back and stated she can not do my hair while packing up my hair. I feel like it was very unprofessional.

These Ladies did their thing!!! The service was good, They provide hair as well, I bought my own refreshments, as I thought I would be there a while, my hair was done in 4 hours‼️‼️‼️‼️ and it didn't hurt like crazy, I took 2 Tylenol before I sat down. Seems like they can pretty much do whatever style you show them! From Ropes, to Micros. I Would Definitely recommend this Shop.

I really try to keep the same people in my head so I keep coming but today I decided I would not go back they stopped on my head with 4 braids left to allow someone to go get their child like why not finish my head first I’m a paying customer. Really was pissed because I have a life also so why should I have to wait and I’m paying. Highly don’t recommend unless you don’t mind waiting

Excellent service, attentive customer care, my braids always turn out perfectly. The staff ensures you get exactly what you want, providing a mirror for you to inspect your braids. Plus, it's reasonably priced. In my view, the top braids shop in Jacksonville!

Never will spend another dime in there. They act like they're better then the next. The rudeness you receive once you walk in the business is crazy. No I don't have to go there but the location is convenient. Lina and her pets need some business tactics when it comes down to dealing with customers.

Complete disregard to paying customers. I called in advance to schedule to get cornrows so when I get to the shop I expect to have a stylist who knows how to do cornrows. To add to my displeasure with this service, It was inconvenient having to bring braiding hair to a hair braiding salon but it only got worse from there. After I got the hair and found the lady who was recommended to cornrow my hair she was very disrespectful trying to take the hair out of my personal bag while I was already handing it to her and to add to it she did not have the tactical skills to properly execute the cornrows. When she showed me the first braid she did, I knew this was not going to be a good hairstyle. It was very unpolished and choppy looking so when I tried to tell her this is not what I asked for she brushed it off and told me to go talk to someone else because she does not know English and apparently she can’t see either because we were looking at the same reference image and it was not appealing the way it was executed. this was a complete waste of my time and I left the salon with no hairstyle because not one person in a hair braiding salon knows how to do cornrows with extensions but they tried to force another hairstyle on me that was out of the budget that I came with because I expected to have cornrows. There was no accountability for the mistakes that were recognized by the point of contact of the shop and it was an overall terrible experience. Not military friendly. Do not recommend.

Do not go here... They did a rush job on my hair and its awful!! I went for micro braids and got block braids with shred hair. I look like I got stitches in my head instead of braids. I called back to let the owner Lina know and all she said was I'm sorry and I will let them know! I'm sadden because I spent over $300 to get this mess that looks like my 8 year old niece did it. Sooo please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!!

Everytime I come here everyone is nice to me and the other customers. They go as fast as they can and do their best to give everyone exactly what they want. However people seem to think just because they are paying for a hair style to be done they can talk to the stylists anyway they want and its unacceptable. No one deserves to disrespect anyone just because they want what they want when they want it....shoot Everyone has their own lives to deal with, and everyone has bad days.... Be nice damn it ain't hard!!!! Thank you ladies for always being kind to me. And I'll always come even when chemo takes my hair!!! And for those of us that have to do chemo or have health problems let's be real, if you are having those treatments u have to tell the stylist and if u speak any French explain it in French instead of waiting.

I just left about two hours ago and I wanted to let you know that I am extremely disappointed in my hair I been coming to your shop over 5 years and this the second time your team left me disappointed they clearly looked at a picture and did the opposite. That is poor customer service and I was sure to let them know that me paying for my hair was doesn’t mean I liked it it is ugly now I got to walk around like this until I can find someone else to do it. You have lost me as your customer thank you

The shop owner is RUDE!!! I can’t say enough how rude and arrogant she is, they do not communicate with the customers only themselves and in French. BEWARE MY PEOPLE!! She referred to the customers as you people

The worst place to get dreads retwisted they inner locked my hair and I had dreads for 9 yrs. When I realized what they was doing I said stop and palm roll. And the retwist came out when I walked outside. I had to go to Merrill rd to jolly's salon and they fixed it. Don't I repeat don't go to this place if u need a retwist.

Just left and I paid 200 dollars and a tip before I could leave out the door they said I shortage them 20 I know how to count 10 twenties is 200 hundred dollars. I NEVER cheat I give them the extra 20.00 maybe they needed it but they could have asked.Please be careful they scamming at this place.

This place is a scam my friend payed them 200 dollars and a tip when she got ready leave they said she was shorted them 20 dollars they lied but my friend gave them the 20 dollars even though she knew that they were lying count your money before you pay them they are scammers I was taking my grandkids but I will never go there after knowing that they are scammers they could have just asked if they extra money it’s not okay to scam people out of their hand earns money

One of the stylist was extremely unprofessional. Instead of saying ma'am the hair you brought is to short she says to her co worker this lady came her expecting a miracle in her head, in her native language which is Haitian and not African. People talk nonsense and don't know the person their talking about may understand them. On top of that she was ruff with parting my scalp did not bother to grease my scalp like the other lady did. At the end result I was not please with my hairstyle and she looks at me with disguste on her face reaction. Non the less my style was prepaid before the completion. Never again...never again. This deserves a no star. The manager as well did not make my complaint causeable after admiting she as well knew the hair I used was to short. Same day 4 braids came out. Next day three more came out. A waste of money. If they would of spoke up I could of want next door and brought the hair length that I needed. Stole my daughter hardworking money from some nonsense. I which she never paid for this. Not everyone in that shop can do hair. If I didn't have to go do chemotherapy that day I would of argue with her but the appointment time ran over and I had to leave asap.

This is the worst place to get your hair done......... I would give them a zero iof I could they have very bad Attitudes........ I went there to get dreadlocks put in for the very 1st time I paid a $150 with me buying my owe hair that is not the problem. I went back 3 days later and had her take partial out paid her $60 more dollars to take them out and she had a really bad attitude to take them out partially. Then I go back 4 weeks later to have the partial taken out and put a different color in and they still have very bad attitudeI will never go again
