I love Ling Mak beauty spa! I got their intro facial for around $50 and it was wonderful. Maple was my specialist and she was so sweet and funny! She talked me through the whole facial to let me know what was happening next, and we chatted about astrology which I loved. Directly after my facial my skin was glowy but a little irritated in the extraction spots, but a few days after, the breakout I was having essentially disappeared! Love love love this spot and the professionals who work there. Highly suggest!

I am happy with my lip blush by Amy! The color is perfect, subtle, and perfectly complements my skin tone. Amy was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend her.

Had high hopes for this facial but was very disappointed. They did not seem like they knew what they were doing at all. During the massage she was pressing so hard on my eyes. My vision is still blurry. And any neck massage just focused on my spine bone. She began putting different treatments on my face that all made my face burn and itch very bad, I asked her to take it off, but she wouldn’t. When she started extractions, she put so much pressure that it ripped my skin and now I have bloody scabs where she started. I ended up stopping her and ending the treatment halfway. They still tried to get me to pay full price but ended up giving me a $10 discount. Would not recommend.

So my friend and I have been really wanting to get korean facial, and see what the hype is about. I, of course, found this spot through the popular TikTok videos and booked an appointment very easily through text message. My friend and I were a little nervous, given the mixed reviews. People either really love it, or had a bad experience. For us, the experience was perfection. I was extremely impressed with how amazing it was start to finish. Everyone was very friendly to us as soon as we walked through the door. I expressed my concerns with how sensitive my skin is in certain spots, and asked them not to do an extractions except for the blackheads on my nose. They were very understand. I had Amy for my facial, and throughout the whole process she asked if I was okay, making sure I was comfortable through the whole thing. The neck and face massage was perfect. The whole thing was an hour and a half and we got the first time discount of $79 for the hydrating facial + aqua peel. If you’re nervous to book, just do it. And for anyone complaining about having to tip $10, grow up. You’re getting and 1.5 hour facial for under $100. You should really be leaving them a $20+ tip. They didn’t make us feel pressure about money at all either.

Worst place ever she popped pimples that didn’t need to be popped. She got the mask stuck in my hair and ears and when I asked for help she left the room for 1 hour and didn’t come back . There dermaplaning razor is the same ones you find on Amazon and not the professional ones you’ll expect. My face started to break out the next day and hasn’t cleared . They force a tip on you $10 minimum which isn’t a problem if they do the job right

i’ve been coming here for a few months now and i absolutely love this facial spa (owned and operated by Ling for 20 years)❤️ i have rosacea and sensitive skin and have been to other facialists in the past who would do extractions that left scars (which i still have). these ladies know how to perform extractions and while i experience some redness the day of, when i wake up the next morning the areas are barely noticeable. the massage was also amazing and i would go so far as to say it’s more satisfying than the massages that i get from actual massage places. during my first couple of visits they would bring up things they noticed about my skin and edit the facial process here and there to suit my skin needs. i bought a five pack of their acne facials after doing the $49 trial price and i really wish i got the 10-pack because this has become such a nice (and one of the few) self-care rituals i slot for myself and definitely the one i look forward to the most.

Horrible first time experience. On top of the language barrier my esthetician gave me painful extractions on pimples that did not need extractions on. She was getting annoyed from how much pain I was in which pissed me off even more. She did not know how to manage my sensitive skin. I would never recommend anyone with sensitive skin to let them touch your face.

Not bad for a first time trial price but the massage wasn't as great as I read in some of the reviews. Active massage time was less than 15 minutes. Less than a minute each for the cleaner and peel application. 20ish minutes steam and 20+ minutes mask, with 4ish minutes extraction time. They didn't tell me while booking that it was $10 minimum tip!

One star because the lady who did the gua sha was pretty good. This was my first time at Ling Mak, not because of TikTok but because of my own research and I definitely will never be back. The gua sha was only 30 minutes - nothing special. If you pay by card, it’s an extra $3. I asked if they accept card before my facial but there was no mention of an extra $3 charge. So the price went from $68 to $71 and they asked if I wanted to tip on the card and I said yes. I was going to tip $5, I didn’t think the facial was amazing to tip more than that and tipping is not required - and it’s my choice of how much I want to tip. They start to LAUGH at my tip and say their “minimum” tipping is $10. How unfortunate to laugh at a PAYING customer, they made me feel extremely uncomfortable. They completely ruined my experience and their business as well for shoving tip down my throat and I’m sure they do this to other customers as well. The reviewers should specify how shady they actually are. The IRS watches everything. Disgusting and unprofessional behavior

Overall rating: 4.8 I follow Vivecachow on TikTok and highly recommend her videos for things to do in the city. She posted a first-time facial deal for $49!! I was SHOCKED. It included so many things: 1. Cleansing 2. Exfoliating 3. 10 min face, neck, shoulder massage 4. Face steam 5. Extraction 6. Eye brow plucking 7. Anti inflammatory device 8. Hydrating mask 9. Serum 10. Moisturizer It was for 1.5hr! My only regret is I’ve learned I don’t like it when there’s steam on my face. And I should have asked them not to do it. Bc it was hard to breathe a few times. The original price is around $68, or a bundle of 3x for $175. I did everything through texting and I had them confirm my price before I booked. Note it’s not a fancy spa. It’s in Chinatown. Cash only. But the service, the price, the duration?! How can you say no?! Go to go?!

Had a wonderful facial here (first time special, $49). For what I paid, I was absolutely blown away. The service was spectacular and I left felt feeling very fresh. Can’t wait to return. Thank you!

Love this place so much. Ive been coming here for a few years now and the facials are relaxing and last awhile, not to mention very affordable- especially if you get the package. The staff is so friendly too.

The ladies here are so nice and it’s easy to come here. I absolutely love it and continue to go for cupping and for facials. They have everything here and it’s in a great location. Afterwards I treat myself to anime claw and snacks around the area. Makes me day, week, etc.

I’ve been coming to this hole in the wall for around 3 years now. They take really great care of my skin and have impeccable massage technique. Their facials are really massage focused and they use GM Collin products. The facial is truly a wonderful experience for the price. Diana is usually my go to. She doesn’t speak much English, but she will clear those pores out. Her massages are also out of this world good. The experience is more for maintenance than full relaxation imo but I think it’s so worth it. They do play relaxing music but if it’s a busy day, sometimes you hear the front desk chatting, the phone ringing etc. Just wanted to give a heads up! When I first came here years ago, they did try to advertise their package deal during my facial— I ended up buying it coz I like getting routine facials but sometimes these hole in the walls are known for asking several times. Not sure about now but just be ready to say no firmly if you don’t want any of it.
