I had an amazing experience with Phi and the whole team! I came in with dyed hair. Several people came to check out my hair texture and provided recommendations. I literally showed one reference picture for how I wanted balayage and another for how I wanted my hair cut and they made it happen in 6 hrs!! And my hair is thick and had a hard color to remove so I was very impressed with their final product. Thank you!!

Exceptional service, has a root touch up and blow dry/straight iron. One of the best coloring jobs ever, neat and no mess, great color matching and I walked out with my curly hair straight as ever. Unbelievable price too, very surprising for a big city. Will go back every time I visit.

I am not from LA and I was advised to go to Chinatown for a reasonable quality haircut. I decided to cut off 2-3 inches and have layers. It was only $20. I chose this place because of the good reviews and I was glad I did. The stylist gave me exactly what I wanted and the entire salon was super nice — including the clients. If I were to return to LA and seek another haircut, I would come back.

Urg no. They’re nice but hair cut? Nah negative. I always want to support small Asians-owned salons but this is a frkin nightmare!!!!! I asked for a layer v-cut and the lady used a razor to cut my hair WITHOUT SPRAYING IT WITH WATER. 15 minutes of painful and I felt like all my hair felt off. My scalp hurts af after the hair cut. 🥲🥹🥹 The day after, my hair look like a broom that you can find in any Asian market. Now i’m gonna crying through the holiday with a broom on my head i guess

I love this place, I've been coming there for over 15 years now and will not go anywhere else.they are very nice and work with you to give you what you want I'd give them more than 5 star's more like 10 plus if I could. This place is so nice people are so friendly and do great work and haircut's are only $15.00 you can't beat that you have a win win all around. They have been doing excellent job since 20 years ago, I got their number because my coworker uses them since he comes to USA! Compare to others: They are cheap but great service! The shop is very clean organized, and every time I saw customers come to say thank you just passing by! You should try them: THEY ARE AWESOME! Wish them the best business forever!

I've been going there for a few years and they have always been great. I'm happy they just recently reopened after Covid-19 and they take every precaution to make everything clean and safe for everyone. I'm glad they are still in business since a lot of places didn't make it. They are affordable, do mens haircuts very well and they are great people.
