I’m new to the area so I didn’t know where to go, but this salon will be my to go from now. Just took my family here today for haircuts and colored. We all love our hair so much. My hair condition is so good after bleach x2 I think. Love love the color, you all must give it a try. Definitely worth the money and time here.

I have been getting my hair cut at this hair salon for about six months, and I met a male barber named Hoang. He is the barber who has satisfied me the most so far. After each haircut, I always feel pleased with his cutting. I think Hoang is the best male stylist I’ve ever met near the area where I live.

Linh's is probably one of the best hair salons in the greater Seattle area. Linh and her team are professional, thoughtful, talented and so easy to work with. I came in with very long hair, and a MESS of curls that another salon had done a poor job on. Linh consulted with me to make sure we both understood the vision. She and her team gave me a beautiful new color, a stylish cut, straightened out the old tight curls, and gave me a Korean Wave perm which is EXACTLY what I wanted. It took 2 visits, 3-4 hours each, and it was totally worth it. If you're looking for the Korean Wave perm, please know that it is a specialty that very few salons can do. Throughout the process, the staff always checked to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied. During my time in the salon, I watched the staff expertly create beautiful hair for every customer. If a customer was unsure of the process, Linh would work with them to bring their vision to reality. The staff are pleasant, funny and worked really well together as a team. The space is beautiful, clean, and relaxing with nice up-to-date equipments. Overall, Linh's Hair Salon is professional, artistic, and so fun to work with. I found my go to salon!

Got a cut and a perm today and they were incredible professional and friendly during the service. I had minimal waiting time before being sat in a chair, and my cut and perm looks great! Will likely make a return appointment in the future as I love the work they did!

This review is about getting a Digital Perm at this salon. I think their strongest skill is creative color based on the reviews and what I saw in the salon. But I would strongly recommend NOT getting a digital perm here. I live in a rural town in a state that doesn’t have Asian salons but I travel to Seattle every now and then and the other salon I have been to before was booked out for a month. The website for Linhs had online booking (probably a mistake for me to use that) and they had next day appointments (also a red flag… I don’t think the online booking reflects the true availability). I walk in on Saturday at 1pm for my appointment. Digital perms take awhile, normally like 3-4 hours, as I’ve been getting them for over a decade from various salons around the country. However. I didn’t leave until 6:30 which was well after I was supposed to meet friends for dinner. 3 different people worked on my hair, two of whom had absolutely no clue what they were doing. I don’t have to understand Vietnamese to see that. The man who did my hair seemed to know how to do perms but lacked the expertise on how to adjust the process to achieve the desired look. I showed them a picture of MY hair with the type of curl I wanted, just a little shorter and starting higher up on my head. This is the same description and picture I gave to a salon in Austin, TX and they nailed it. They didn’t leave the relaxer in long enough. So the curl wasn’t as tight as I wanted. My hair is incredibly thick and coarse so it’s not unusual for me to not only have the relaxer in for a long time but to also sit under heat. They didn’t do that for me either. They also didn’t layer my hair before starting the process. I came in with hair past my shoulder and they did a blunt cut across. Most salons will layer at this time because it’s less hair to curl. I told this to Linh when she was checking the other stylist’s work and she said that leads to a bad end result. I disagree. I’ve never had a problem with that before. So now there’s more hair to relax and more to make sure is in the curlers and more to heat and all that. So what happens? They forgot to plug in ONE curler in the machine. So guess who has to sit and wait an additional 30 minutes to heat the ONE curler because the inexperienced people effed up. Two of the inexperienced people were tasked with putting curlers in my hair but they were doing it wrong. Linh was shouting at them from her chair. The more experienced guy was cutting someone else’s hair. He ended up taking all of those out and redoing them. IT TOOK ONE HOUR to put the curlers in. After they finished the perm and tried to cut my hair I kept asking for them for thin it out more. More. More. More. I kept asking and they barely did anything . I got to a point where I was so frustrated I said it was fine and paid and left. It was like $350. You don’t wash a perm for 2 days so I waited two days and thought maybe it would look better after is styled it on my own. It didn’t. I ended up messaging Linh and asked for a partial refund. The two stars on this is really because she gave me a refund but it would be a 0 star if I could. So I paid $170 for a haircut I don’t even like and I’ve been wearing hats every day for the last month waiting for it to grow back out so I can re-perm it again. It looks absolutely nothing like the photo I shared. I even thinned it out at home with thinning shears when I returned to my rural town. I think the lesson here is that if you want a digital perm, you should walk in, talk to Linh and ask that she personally does your perm and don’t rely on the online booking. It’s clear that this salon is very busy and they are cramming in all appointments left and right. I know the inexperienced people who did my hair was doing their best but I was so disappointed with the results and the experience. I was so hungry throughout my appointment because I didn’t expect to be there for 5.5 hours.

I always come here whenever I want to change my hairstyle. This time, I decided to go for a short, Korean-inspired cut, which was a tough decision since I hadn’t had short hair in a long time. Chi Linh, my stylist, has exceptional skills in both hairstyling and haircuts. She makes sure my hair length is exactly what I want, and she understands how to complement my face shape and skin tone. Before starting, she always ensures the style will suit me perfectly. I’m consistently impressed with her attention to detail. Loveeeeee my new hair!!!!
