Very unprofessional. I booked a lash lift 3 weeks in advance. Two days before my appointment the owner Xiya texts me saying the appointment is canceled because Anna no longer works there. But my appointment was booked with Xiya (the owner) and NOT Anna, so why is the appointment canceled? She didn’t even offer an apology for the cancellation. Not a great way to treat a repeat customer. Now I’m left scrambling to find lashes elsewhere before I leave town for my birthday. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This person is very rude and not attentive at all. Was disregarding everything that I was trying to say and basically rushed through my appointment without waxing everything off. She even left the white powder on me and was just sloppy with the whole thing. When it came time to pay during checkout, she didn’t ask me how the service was or anything but was preoccupied with scrolling on her phone. I’m glad I didn’t tip because the lack of customer service and aftercare was ridiculous. Definitely don’t plan on coming back.

I love lovvvveee LOVE Xiya Lin. She’s so kind and quiet but she works, fast, efficient, is thorough. I never have to point out that she missed a spot with my Brazilian waxes because she never misses a spot! Waxes take like 5 mins tops! Her prices are so affordable compared to other salons in the area and other places where I didn’t receive as great service. Her salon suite is clean and in a nice, safe part of town. I highly recommend her. Go see her. You won’t regret it!

*Since posting, the owner has repeatedly been texting me unwarranted. I get my lashes done regularly (fills every 2-3 weeks). I found this place when I moved to Chicago and had been a regular customer for a little over a year. Throughout my time there, Xia messaged me twice to reschedule my appointment. One time was the day of. Both times, I had no problem accommodating. I’ve always had great relationships with my lash stylists as I get them done religiously every 2-3 weeks. So of course I had no issue changing my appointment when she messaged me. However, the one time I was stuck in a meeting unexpectedly and I asked if I could reschedule - I was told that I would have to pay the $20 change fee. Now - I completely understand cancellation and change policies. I know that it is unfair for the business when clients continue to book and then cancel or change. I do get it. I was just taken aback because she requested I change my appointment last minute before and I did not hesitate. I also had blocked out time off work for it, but hey, no big deal. It just left a bad taste in my mouth to feel this way. I wouldn’t have cared at all if she had not previously expected me to accommodate her. With all that being said, this is a single instance of my particular experience at Linxia. Her lash work is great - I have no complaints there. I personally go elsewhere now due to this instance and just wanted to provide the context and heads up for others! (Edit: it is definitely Xia/Xiya the owner. I only get services from her).

The lash curl was a crazy tight, kinky curl that made my lashes look shorter and irritated my eyes as they folded back into the lash line. :-( go out further sis

This was my first time getting my lashes done and I didn’t know what to expect but Xia did an amazing job and I was so comfortable the entire time and delighted with the results! Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Anna is excellent at doing lashes. She is super thorough and deliberate, and the two times I have seen her my lashes have come out perfectly. It's also a beautiful office with a very relaxing vibe and kind staff. Highly recommended to get your lashes done there. :)

My lashes look amazing! I have been coming here for awhile and am never disappointed. I constantly get compliments on my lashes. Yura and Xiya are wonderful! The space is very clean and super cute. They are very professional, educational, and so friendly I feel like we are besties talking about dating, dieting, and everything else haha! I can tell the quality of work and product used is great because my lashes last a long time and I can stretch out my visits. You will absolutely enjoy your experience here!

Xia is sooooo talented, by far the most meticulous and knowledgeable lash artist in Chicago. Such a lovely variety of lashes and her work is impeccable. She really looks out for the health of your lashes too!!

Xiya is amazing, I’ve been going to her for body waxing for years. She is professional and kind and detail oriented. She’s uses high quality wax and has different types depending on skin sensitivity and hair type. She’s the best!!

Had an amazing Brazilian wax experience with xia. She was so warm and nice. I had my first Brazilian wax and I totally loved it! She makes you very comfortable and you won't feel any pain. Would love to visit her again.

My best brazilian wax experience ever! The wax is super fast and easy; almost painless. The owner talks to you and makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire time. Definitely going back :)
