I moved to Indianapolis recently and I’m so glad I found Vic at the Lion & Hair salon. She is a very kind and good listener at understanding the goals with my highly damaged blonde fine hair, and she is helping me on a journey to get it healthy again! We have a long term plan and it involves both giving my hair a break, but while helping me still keep a “blonde look “that I like. I decided to go with some beautiful hair extensions and they really give me confidence! There are no high pressure sales and you can know ahead of time the costs. I highly recommend this salon! The salon is in a very cool building and has a plant filled, chill, bohemian vibe!

Paula treats her clients with so much love & care. I am always so particular about my hair, & she caters to the needs/requests I have! On top of being excellent with my hair, she keeps my husband’s hair always looking fresh. I would 150% recommend her to anyone with any type of hair! She is truly a fantastic at what she does.

Becca was amazing! I enjoyed my entire experience with her. The scalp massage was fabulous! She made me feel so comfortable and was able to educate me on how to maintain my look at home. I’m not going anywhere else. I absolutely love my hair!

I have uneven sideburns and a cowlick in the back of my head on my left side. When Paula does my hair. My sideburns are even and you do not notice the cowlick in my hair. I don't even need to style it. My hair just perfectly falls into place. And I look 10 years younger when I leave!

I just happened to come across this salon on Instagram and decided to give it a try! First thing I saw when I arrived at the salon is how awesome it looked. There were tons of plants, a huge beautiful chandelier in the center of the room, some exposed brick, and unique furniture! Second thing I saw was another girl leaving who had just gotten her hair done and it looked incredible. I immediately felt like I was in good hands. I have super thin hair and basically have no idea how to style it because it’s so thin so it always looks silly but Paula made it look amazing, for one. & two, she taught me how she styled it, which is exactly what I needed! She also took the time to make sure I was happy with what she was doing as she was cutting my hair instead of just doing one massive chop. Paula is really great at also making you feel comfortable when you’ve never been to her salon before. I think she did such an amazing job with my hair and I left feeling great about it. I’ll definitely be back and would for sure recommend!

Loved the experience from start to finish! Victoria did a great job with my (men’s) hair cut and helped me through a first time color. I’ve had mixed experiences with stylists in the indy area for medium / long men’s hair styles but I can definitely recommend Victoria for those cuts and more.

Paula is such a wonderful stylist. When I’m in her chair, it feels like she’s truly absorbing what I’m telling her I want my hair to look like. She takes the time to understand exactly what I have in mind and offer suggestions that result in me loving my hair more than I knew was possible. The new space is gorgeous and you’ll definitely feel at home if you’re a plant lover. You can kick back, enjoy a glass of wine and some good conversation while getting a fresh look.

Yesterday was my first haircut with Victoria and she was wonderful! I'm terrible at telling stylists what I want, but she asked all the right questions. I love my haircut! The salon itself is also gorgeous. Very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend!
