I love everything about Little Broken Things from their customer service, talented hair stylists, and support of local artists. Karmen is my go-to hair stylist and is the best!! Would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. :))

I came in for a curly cut with Karmen, and it was amazing!! 100% would recommend if you are looking for a curly hairstylist. She is very good and very knowledgeable. The service is a touch on the pricey side, but totally worth it

Dylan is an absolute master of her craft. I went in and told her I wanted bangs. Bardot style, not too shaggy or 70s. I don’t know how she did it but what I walked out with was EXACTLY what I had in mind - even better than it. Now I have layers that have given my hair the life it needed and the bangs are a fav among everyone I’ve sent photos to. Dyl, you are an ARTIST and always a pleasure to hang out with. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Clean, welcoming space. My stylist was Melissa and she was so helpful in working with me to find a style I like, and did a great job. I have a lot of hair and she was able to get through the appointment in a hour.

I came in for a hair color/gloss consultation with Beth and she was so kind and talented. I haven’t colored my hair in about ten years and she did a great job of explaining shade differences and maintenance. It was a super smooth experience and I left with the exact shade I had envisioned. I’ve also had hair cuts here before and very happy with how they craft the layers I ask for.

I moved to Chicago 1 year ago and have only experienced disaster haircuts…I have a long pixie cut that is very thick, has lots of cowlicks, and is not the simplest cut. On a whim I walked in last night and Ashley was AMAZING! She was so friendly and really listened to my desires (and concerns) about my hair. She included me in every step of the haircut and the more we talked the more I could tell she really understood my vision…and she charged me HALF of what I’ve been paying for terrible haircuts all around Logan sq. The receptionist was incredibly sweet and kind, too. Thanks so much to both!! I’ll be back for sure.

was so anxious abt coming to a professional salon bc it always turns out wrong but i loved the haircut meghan gave me! she was super sweet and the receptionist was able to accommodate me after i messed up the appointment so i was really grateful for them! will be coming back :)

Neftali was great! I came in for a trim, hair color & a few layers in the front. She understood anything I wanted as well as wanting to keep most of the length of my hair which I loved! She was so sweet & patient with me. I will definitely continue to book my appointments with her!

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing Chelsea R is. She has consistently given me the best haircuts I’ve ever had! She listens to your needs and is so knowledgeable about all things hair. I always feel great walking out after seeing her. Super cute salon too. Ty Chelsea!!

I only wanted my hair cut a little bit keeping my length and volume but she razored the hell out of my hair making it thin. I came in with thick luscious hair and now it’s ruined. She also gave me bangs which I didn’t want. I wanted a butterfly haircut with curtain bangs. My hair is also wavy and curly making the bangs even shorter. I can’t stop looking in the mirror and crying. Totally opposite of what I wanted!!!!!!!! Now I have to wait a year for my hair to grow back. I also showed her a picture of what I wanted very very upset

I've been getting my hair cut at LBT for years, and it's always been a great experience. First Cassie (who owns LBT) cut my hair, and she won my business with her consistently excellent cuts & styling. It's been amazing to watch Cassie bring her vision for her business to life over the years. The salon is in a great location and the staff is engaging and talented. Now Angelica has been cutting my hair for a couple years, and I'm very happy with her work. I'm glad LBT is part of my community, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for excellent service and creative, kind staff.

Cancelled my appointment right before I'm heading off to vacation, attempting to place me with whoever else is available. I took a long time deciding to come here and thoroughly reviewed the hair artists to ensure I picked someone who I was confident with. Super disappointed.

I have been going to Dylan for a year and a half. She’s given me the best haircuts I’ve ever had! She asks great questions and gives me haircuts that fit the aesthetic I’m chasing and my lifestyle. The rest of staff is great and very professional also.

Absolutely absurd. Paid for a $30 Uber and spent 40 minutes traveling to get to this appointment for my boyfriends haircut and because of unforeseen traffic we arrived 1 minute after the late policy. Because of this we were told that there was no way for him to get a simple trim. I usually never leave bad reviews but these people are completely unsympathetic!!! Definitely an extremely poor experience

Haircuts with Nelson are the best! The salon experience is wonderful and each haircut and style has been so nice and exactly what I’m looking for. Nelson also helped me better understand how to blow dry my hairstyle and it turned out so stunning. Also picked up some great products! So much helpful advice and information to help me level-up my at home haircare! Thank you Nelson and Little Broken Things team 🤗

I got a haircut recently with Nayeli. She was knowledgeable and friendly. She did a great job. I had a very pleasant experience and will be back. The salon offers coffee/tea and water while you wait which is nice.

I got haircut recently with Liz, and she's amazing! She asked me questions and did exactly what I was looking for. I've had poor haircuts in the past, but I had a pleasant experience here! I booked a long haircut for a trim and bangs, and I love how it came out. We talked throughout the appointment, and it was nice conversing with her! Would definitely come back :)

I had a long layered haircut with curtain bang trimming with Liz and it was awesome. Liz was super sweet, friendly, calm and professional. She spent time making sure she understood my expectations for the cut before she started. She was super attentive and gentle on my hair that it felt like a good hair spa for me. And the result was amazing. It was refreshing and my hair was kept at the length I told Liz in the beginning. I will definitely come back for another haircut or trimming!

I’ve stopped going here and friends that I’ve shared my experience with have stopped going as well. I used to go to LBT when it was a small salon with 2 or 3 chairs..It feels like those running the salon have become out of touch and are not prioritizing creating a healthy work environment. Not for the community in the way they put out to be online.

Liz is the absolute best! She gave me exactly the haircut I was looking for while suggesting new things! Liz has such a grounding presence that makes the initial decision making and the whole appointment easy and stress free! I highly recommend her!

I booked a last minute appointment for a haircut with Lizzy during the busy holiday season. She asked questions, took her time and I never felt rushed. She was amazing and pleasant to converse with! Can't wait for my next visit.

First time going to Little Broken Things after seeing great results that a friend got. Its the first time in ages that ive absolutely loved the way my stylist cut me. Nelson knows her stuff! Would definitely recommend and ill be back!

Mel is my favorite stylist—super kind and a master at their craft! In the past year I’ve come in with different short/medium haircut ideas—Mel has great intuition & skill and is fun to bounce ideas with—the end result is always so good. The whole staff here is lovely, always a nice experience. :)
