I cannot recommend Little Lion highly enough! I came in for a dual process with Gail. Gail took the time to understand exactly the blonde I was looking for, made sure I felt comfortable with the process and pricing, and took care to protect my hair health as much as possible. I am absolutely thrilled with my new hair, it’s perfection! So grateful to have discovered Little Lion and to have trusted my hair to Gail. I can't wait to come back!

Ashley made my hair dreams come true ✨✨ I took advantage of a consultation ahead of my cut because I was getting bangs and making a big change. She took the time to understand my hair habits and routine, and reviewed all of the inspo pics I brought to ensure she understood what my hair goals were. I've gotten SO many compliments on my hair since my cut. ♥️♥️ So glad I found Ashley at Little Lion!

I love Gail!! Absolutely thrilled with my last experience at Little Lion. Gail worked wonders refreshing my tired brunette hair with a new treatment and gave some thoughtful suggestions on a new style with my bangs. She really listened to what I was looking for, and the result was beyond what I could have hoped for, I walked out of there floating on a cloud. I can’t recommend Gail enough and can’t wait to book with her again!

Wow what an amazing experience I had coming here. Gail was my stylist and she was not only super friendly and sweet but she also listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. I left with more confidence that day than I’ve had in my entire life! :) Two days later and my hair still looks like I just walked out of the salon. Great Job!!! I will definitely be coming back.

I visited this salon last Friday and was served by Bri. I requested a straight line cut with one layer. After washing and styling my hair at home, I noticed that it was cut unevenly. For a service at this price point, it's unacceptable to not get a basic straight cut done correctly. I contacted the salon with photos illustrating the issue, but have yet to receive any response. This lack of follow-up is disappointing, as I had anticipated a more professional approach to both the service and customer care. Based on this experience, I will not be returning.

We love Kyra!!! I've been seeing Kyra for my cut and color for about a year now, and she's truly the best. I first booked with her in the midst of my Blonde Era™️ with 2-inch overgrown roots, fried ends, and a dream. She got me to my perfect shade and kept it there for months. I'm always happy with her haircuts and blowouts too—she makes the process feel collaborative and we always have a good laugh when I'm in the chair! I mean, if you've got a high-maintenance hairstyle that puts you in a salon for 2+ hours per month, you should probably enjoy hangin' with your stylist, yeah? We transitioned to a "Dua Lipa Red" a few months ago and I was a little scared, but Kyra formulated the perfect shade that made me feel like a whole new woman! Suffice to say, Kyra is the best, and the only reason I hesitate to spread this information is because I (selfishly) don't want it to become too hard to get an appointment. But sharing is caring, I guess. 😘🫶

Emily is the BEST! I went in very lost on what to do with my hair after not having a haircut in a while. We had a quick consultation, she guided me on what my options were, and it came out AMAZING, I really could not be happier. She is so skilled and personable. This is def my new go-to salon.

Thank you so much Scott! I was waiting for the right moment to cut 12 inches off my hair off. I randomly walked in to make an appointment and Scott gave me a beautiful cut, I nearly cried. He was incredibly accommodating of my needs and made me feel comfortable. Will be back soon for maintenance :)

It was my first time trying out Little Lion Salon and I will definitely be back. Upon arriving, I was warmly welcomed and offered something to drink which is always a nice touch. Gail, my stylist, sat with me prior to starting to better understand the goals I was trying to achieve with the hair cut and styling. As someone that tends to be shy in these situations, I really appreciated that she would periodically checking in on me to make sure I liked what I saw thus far and gave me the opportunity to speak up. However, it is Gail’s attention to detail that will keep me coming back. She is a magician when it comes to creating an effortless naturally lived in color. When I came in, my hair completely damaged from the last job, filled with split ends and a washed out blonde color. I specifically asked for the color transition to be subtle and for the highlights to not have alot of contrast against my dark hair. Gail was able to achieve just what I was looking for, a more natural color that still had dimension. I am someone who is rarely content with hair coloring but I can genuinely say I am so happy with my new hair. It has given me a new sense of confidence.

Ive been to Bri at Little Lion a couple times now and I will go nowhere else 😌 She has such a nuanced eye for color and totally sorted out the mess I came in with. She gave me the perfect strawberry honey color for summer and also gave me a treatment which has helped strengthen my hair a ton. She’s super knowledgeable about products and has great recommendations without being pushy. Also, the whole salon is beautiful and I would recommend a visit to anyone interested. Thank you Bri!!!

Tried to give this spot a chance. Both of my haircuts here were not great but I struggled to find a spot so came back. The staff is friendly but not quality hair care in my opinion. Both times I walked out unhappy (crying once I get to the train) and my hair looking awful. Maybe not the best for thicker ethnic hair. Also pushed to make an appointment weeks in advance and they don't call you to confirm or anything. Got charged their fee without any prior communication- just a single email. Found another amazing salon in Bushwick with a very inclusive staff and environment elsewhere.

Calling all my dark hair gals, this is the place where they will understand your brunette hair and enhance it w/o leaving it orange or blonde. Danielle is fantastic at nailing the perfect rich chocolate brown of your dreams! I also want to highlight the work of Simone Starr. I don't believe I have ever received such a customized treatment by any stylist ever. Simone really went above and beyond by being a great listener, open to feedback and of course being so unbelievably talented with color and skill. I don't ever want to go to any other salon. Everyone I've dealt with at Little Lion understood 100% their assignment!

I finally found a top notch salon with a relaxed and chill vibe! The space itself is amazing, wide open and full of light, so even if you have to sit there for hours it is incredibly pleasant. I’ve gotten my hair done by 2 different stylists there and both were great. Super happy with my hair. Highly recommend!

Found my new hairstylist here! Scott is the best. I came for cut. My hair was down to my bottom and I cut off about 6 inches. Wanted soft, light and bouncy and that is what I got! The salon itself was very nice, bright, modern and clean. Excited to come back for my trim :)

Saw Gail to help get back to a brunette from an overall blue black color. She was very reasonable about what my expectations should be and how to go about the process in a way that achieves the results I want, yet doesn’t compromise the health of my hair. She did an amazing job giving me subtle brunette highlights and a nice layered cut. Will be back!
