The whole experience was amazing! Even though I was late for my appointment it wasn't a long wait and Gege was so nice and so cool and professional! I was worried because i broke my nose as a toddler and my nose is crooked but Gege knew is exactlyhow to hamdle it. It didn't take long at all only 15 mins and then I had the peirceing of my dreams! Highly recomend using this shop for all your tattoo and piercing needs!

Every time I go here I come out feeling amazing! Hailey has been an absolute pleasure to work with and so kind. She listened to what I needed and I came out feeling stunning! I’ll miss my blue green hair but feel fresh in a natural dark brown color! Thanks again Hailey!

Super friendly and welcoming staff. I came in SOAKING wet from the rain and they let me come in dripping everywhere gave me a towel and dried my coat under the hair dryer 🥹💙

Every time I leave Hailey’s chair I feel as amazing as my hair! From our first consultation, we immediately clicked and now I wouldn’t dream of finding anyone else to do my hair! New to bleaching, Hailey walked me through every bit of the process and laid out a plan best for my hair. Now back to my natural roots (with a bit of a ginger tint), my hair has kept its health and strength! I couldn’t be happier with our time together and can’t wait to visit her again in the new year for a fresh spring look <3

Gus is the absolute best, i’m super picky with my hair cuts and overly attached to my hair and he always makes me feel so comfortable and does a phenomenal job. he does an amazing job on my bangs and layers. i have a lotttt of hair and he finished my cut wash and style in an hour and a half, the quickest anyones ever done my hair love love love

I had the best haircut of my life here, and it's not even close. Hailey was really great! I don't often cut my hair, but when I do I'm often worried I may not communicate well about the style I want, however, Hailey was a very good listener, and put my mind at ease. They're very experienced at what they do, and they're also just a really good people person. This is definitely where I'll be going to get my cuts from now on! Oh, also, the atmosphere was really clean and relaxing, and it felt very safe knowing that they're very queer-friendly. :)

Love the vibe of this place—it’s cozy, clean, and everyone is friendly. Hailey did my hair and was the perfect amount of chatty and professional—I felt comfortable the entire time and my hair turned out amazing! The point system rules—I always spend a lot when I do my hair because I am blonde blonde, but it’s a nice perk to get some cash off once you accumulate points. Hailey is very knowledgeable about hair and answered all my questions and had recommendations of different products and is very welcoming. Love that I finally found a stylist who is chill and welcoming in the city.

My favorite salon! I go to Hailey for blonde highlights and a short bob haircut. If you need someone who specializes in blondes, she is the one to go to! She executes what I want perfectly each time. They are an amazing stylist with tons of experience and knowledge. She even gives me hair care tips, and I learn something new after every appointment. I leave the salon feeling so confident each time. On top of that she is a joy to be around and makes going to the salon such a fun time.

Tucked in the mini shopping mall off of Bedford, Live by the Sword salon has a cozy vibe. Every stylist is super friendly and amazing at what they do, especially Hailey. I highly recommend if you have grey, course hair. She knows exactly how to cover all the greys and make my hair softer than ever! Hailey always listens to me during the consultation and gives amazing results. Definitely check her out if you’re in the Williamsburg area!

If you’re getting waxed you MUST go to Cortina! She’s quick but also really attentive to your skin. I also received a vagacial during this service and I love how Cortina tells you everything that’s going on your skin and it’s purpose so that you’ll know how to do proper after care at home.
