This was my most enjoyable hair experience in years! Kimberly did a color correction on me and was able to get the exact color I was hoping for. Prior to my appointment she consulted with me about what I was looking for and walked me through her thoughts. She is personable, professional, and efficient. Aside from the amazing color, the haircut was also great! I have already booked my next appointment:)

I cannot recommend Kim enough. She is amazing and I've never left her chair disappointed at Live Free Hair Studio. I've been going to her for cut and bayalage or highlights for years. I am also very prone to doing big chops and love leaving with a huge transformation. I honestly just give her an idea of what I would like and let her go for it; I truly trust her skills and judgement that much! On top of her skills, she is absolutely such a genuine human and I'm so glad I have found her. Long appointments fly by with her. Thank you Kim for everything!

My third time seeing Kimberly and she is wonderful! Takes the time to understand what the customer (me) wants and even if my requirements are vague or have questions, it doesn't matter - she's been doing this for so long and provides suggestions and her advice. She's intentional with what products she uses and why and has earned my complete trust! High quality work. She's very relatable and quite the conversationalist which is fun.

I went here to hopefully to have my hair donated seeing as it was fairly long, had it for years and with a bald spot appearing, decided it was time to cut off the dream and face reality. She was incredibly kind, amazing personality and comforting during the experience. Although a simple buzz on my end, her client beforehand looked phenomenal as well. Genuinely, give this place a shot and you will not regret it.

Kimberly is the best! I am always nervous trying a new place and she put all my nerves at ease. She gave me beautiful highlights and root smudge so it can grow out naturally. She also gave me a killer money piece with layered curtain bangs. Definitely recommend Live Free Hair Studio!

If you are a blonde, you know how hard it is to find a good colorist. Kim is not only a professional in every sense of the word, but her color is SPOT ON. She understands how to layer the color and highlight for the most natural tones, even if your hair is predominantly gray or dark. The products she uses are so good for your hair and she never going to talk you into an unflattering cut or a product you don't need. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Run, don't walk, to this little salon with the big personality.

Kimberly is amazing. I had my hair kind of destroyed by another stylist who made my hair brassy, unevenly cut and unblended. I went to Kimberly and through all the damage that had been done to my hair, Kimberly gave me EXACTLY what i originally wanted. I am SO glad that I found Kimberly when I moved back to the Austin area. I have been going to Kimberly for over 3 years and could not say enough positive things about her. She is a GENIUS at hair color and by far the best stylist I’ve ever been too. I have really long hair that takes forever to color and cut and she has always been amazing at getting me scheduled even when it is really short notice. She is also so personable and easy to talk to which makes my long appointments fun! Kimberly takes the time to do an incredible job and really cares about her work.
