Liz African Braid Salon was above and beyond professional , quick, affordable, and just all around great braid salon to go to for your braiding styles. There was no waiting to even get started on my head, no one else in the chair making me have to wait until she finishes with them before she can even get started on my head, I got in and out with a fabulous style that I liked. If you want professionalism I suggest Liz!

Bad attitude!! My daughter didn't get her hair done their, the worker had the worst attitude while saying we needed to make a appointment. I can understand needing to make an appointment, but the attitude she had when she said it and the way she said it, I would not go back.

I got below waist length small box braids. I was in at 8 am and was out by 2pm!!! Edith made sure she knew what I wanted and could provide the service before starting. Very detailed in her work! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE BRAIDS :)

I've been to Liz 4 times from what I seen and experience she does a exalent job especially for the women but for men I can't say the same personally for men and myself when I first arrived I felt as if I wasn't welcomed I said hello and I wasn't properly greeted she takes a look at my hair and sat me down but never asked how I wanted it so I trusted her and kept quiet because I didnt want to be rude things where good the second time around the third time I went someone else did my hair but not the way I expect it I admit I haven't been in awhile bc of personal financial problems so there for I had a lot of new grow but I trusted them once again to know what there doing bc who am I to tell them how to do there job but when I returned home my hair was falling apart and was not properly twisted so I called back and ask if Liz could fix it so I returned and she asked if I have gotten it wet i said no(I where I shower cap everyday) and then she asked who has been doing my hair I replied I've only been here just being honest with her then I felt uneasy and bit of discomfort because they where laughing and talking in Nigerian the whole time so I felt it was torward me but I never addressed it but a couple of days later I noticed something wrong with my dreads then i realized one side of my head was knotted in 3s so I admittedly took it out and couldn't believe what I saw I can't honestly say I will never return to Liz's African beauty

Usually satisfied with with Liz work. But she's out of town it's a new lady working there.I appreciate her taking my old braids out and washing my hair.That she installed love them.Which was micros.I told her I wanted something lite not heavy.Everything I ask for she suggested something else.She convinced me to do box braids.They are different sizes and hurt so bad.Waste of money taking them out tomorrow.The shop is nasty and no toilet paper. And I seen roaches yuck
