A visit to Tia is a more like a spiritual experience with a magician than a massage. I've been seeing her for 5 years and every massage is different. She really has a way of tapping into her intuition to know exactly what you need for that session. I laugh, I cry, I walk about feeling completely calm and that's priceless in this hectic city. Many gifted massage therapists work quickly but not effectively. Tia, by contrast, devotes the necessary time to achieve better results for her clients. After two fairly intense hours, I walked out pain free and clear headed. Genuinely, Tia is a master of her art.

I’ve been with Tia and Lomi Manhattan for more than 3 years and i’ve loved this place. I have issues with my neck and shoulder due to posture and working with electronics. Tia’s approach was gentle but firm and seems to combine acupressure, Thai and Swedish. The environment was clean, cozy and relaxing. I’d recommend anyone to try it.

I was looking for a good place to go for a massage. After reading such wonderful reviews decided this was the place. After describing my areas of tension Tia suggested a medical massage. The massage was nothing short of magical. The studio is larger than most, spotless and the massage table was very comfortable. Tia was a good listener, friendly and professional. Tia hit all the right spots releasing tension in my neck and shoulders. What I liked most was that Tia designed the massage for what I needed given I work on a computer all day and do many zoom meetings. I can't wait to go back for more healing. Tia is truly a healer and not just a massage therapist.

Tia is such a kind and welcoming person! Incredibly professional and friendly. I discovered her by reading reviews and decided to try out a massage about 2 years ago. She is AMAZING. The best massage I’ve ever had. She has a heated massage table, which is so nice in the winter and she plays relaxing music during the massage. Very clean and cozy space. I chose Lomi Lomi and it was beautifully arranged. Tiya has an artful approach that is flowing and mindful. Her playlist ranges from songs to ocean and birds and the sounds from the speakers are clean and clear as her attention to every little place in the body that she finds. It feels magnificent if you are ready to relax which isn’t hard to do once you find yourself in her comfortable space. Don’t hesitate to try this.

I have never felt better in my life! I got the 2-hour Lomi Lomi massage. It was a very powerful healing experience. She helped me unlock my chakra! She has these surround sound speakers that play these soothing matras, songs, and white noises. Together with gongs, bells, and essential oils, she creates an authentic Hawaiian experience! Towards the end of the massage, I was feeling incredibly uplifted to the point where I began to feel a powerful wave of happiness accompanied by these beautiful colors: blueish purple, yellow/orange, and violet I remembered seeing this as a child, and I just thought I was looking at harmful blue lights that were damaging my eyes and making me see this as a residual effect. She explained that I have the gift of seeing auras! and that I have been blocking them out for years. It has been 3 days since I got the massage, and I am no longer hating my existence, meaning my anxiety is mostly gone, and i am able to deal with external stress with ease. Thank you, Tia!

I was searching for a really good, relaxing & professional massage. I’ve had a lot of massages over the years, some good, some OK, and some straight out bad. Then I came across “Lomi Manhattan Massage”... I looked through the website & had a strong feeling that “this is the one”! So, I contacted Tia, made an appointment and the rest is history! As soon as I walked in her studio, I knew this will be a wonderful session. Everything was so neat, clean & cozy! It smelled so fresh and wonderful! Tia greeted me with her soft and friendly voice. Tia is such a beautiful person, inside and out, a special soul! I booked the 90 minute session. I must say- it wasn’t a regular massage- it was a “massage experience”. I’ve never had a massage on this level in my life. Tia is a real master of the art of massage, you can see it’s her true passion! Please, whoever is reading this, trust me even though you don’t know me, trust me that once you’ve experienced a massage by Tia, you will never need to look for anyone else! I recently got a Signature Massage from Tia and can confirm it was THE BEST massage I've ever gotten in my life. This was by far the best massage I have EVER had, and this is coming from a former massage therapist myself. Beginning when you enter, Tia was friendly, thorough and professional, asking any areas of concern as well as areas you would like her to work on. Her massage table was comfortable and warm, and the room was inviting as relaxing. In addition to the beautiful Hawaiian music in the background, her flow and technique was flawless. I will forever be spoiled if I should ever need to have this massage performed by another therapist because I can’t imagine it any better. Next time I’m in NYC, I’ll be coming for a longer session.

Tia is amazing, my mom gifted me a massage with her for my birthday this past May and I finally got to go check it out! It was super intense and just what i needed, i’m a CNA ever since late 2021 and I’ve had mild-moderate back pain ever since on and off from the bending and lifting. It was intense pressure but was absolutely amazing, and shes very respectful of how much pressure you want and made me feel really comfortable. I’d definitely go back! Super great relaxing studio too, she’s very talented and very kind!

Wow, Tia is an absolute hidden gem! I am so happy I found her. I received the 1.5hrs custom massage and I can only say great things. I’d like to note that I’ve received massages from all over the country and out of the country and she’s seriously one of the best! Her techniques are different than most masseuse. She really specializes in what your body needs. For example, I told her I had really bad TMJ and neck pain & she spent time focusing on reducing my pain in those areas. I won’t go to anyone else but her from now on. Also, her place is peaceful and brings in good energy. Highly highly recommend!

Tia is incredible. On our first session, she sat down and we discussed my problem areas. She did a thorough evaluation of my needs. Just a little background, I am an ICU nurse hired by the state of New York for crisis response. Per my contract, I am required to work 12 hour shifts for six days straight with one day off. This has caused a lot of physical and mental stress. I ached everywhere. My shoulders were tense and I developed intermittent mid back pain. I can honestly say that after one session, the back pain has resolved. It has not returned. After my second session, I have noticed better sleep patterns. I have less aches and pains at work, and I attribute all of this to her. She has magical hands. Best massage I have ever had in my life. I can honestly say she delivers and the other places I have been to pale in comparison to what Tia is able to do. Now besides her massage skills, I would also like to add that she has a beautiful soul. She is truly passionate about healing. It’s been a while since I have met someone with such compassion and positive energy. She is magnetic! I highly recommend her.

I have gotten hundreds of massages over the years. The best ones had good techniques. Tia is by far the best that I have experienced. Most others I get 90min, with Tia I am relaxed from the start and 120min seems too short. Lomi and the others methods that she uses seem to have an effect on a deeper level that is both spiritual and emotionally supporting. I recommend her to anyone who appreciates a high quality massage from an amazingly gifted therapist.

Tia has the best mix of skill and professionalism that I’ve seen in a therapist! She’s highly attentive and has a sit down with her clients before and after the massage to figure out what the biggest problem areas might be and discuss how they were addressed after. If you have questions, she’s super willing to answer them. This helped make me very comfortable under her care. She has a lot of different styles that she’s learned, with Lomi Lomi being the most unique offering in the city. It’s a free flowing massage that allows her to be creative in her movements while she hunts for areas of high tension to smooth out. I highly recommend Lomi Lomi Manhattan! P.S.
