Been going to Lora Moon since 2019. My sisters, mom and I live right down the block in MMR. We use to say, it doesnt matter who you go to, you know they'll be good! Unfortunetly, it doesnt seem to be the case anymore. I RARLY write bad reviews. But honestly after my hair was ruined after each time I went. First, I went in about 2 years ago to get a color and cut. The lady was so short on time that she cut a few strands, and I could see that she ran out of time. I offered to leave with my hair wet that way I could still get a haircut. I ended up having to come back later for a redue. Horrible haircut. Next, my sisters hair was terribly done. yellow, streaky, she hated it. Im not sure why I went back after that, but I did. A few months ago I went for some color on my ends and a haircut. When I tell you it was horrible, it was HORRIBLE. (let me preface this by saying I am not super picky, I always show pictures so they know what I want, and I just want to walk out feeling refreshed.) Color was higher up on my head on one side than on the other, one side bangs had color the other side didnt, and it was like a straignt line of color on my roots. Like someone drew a blonde line across my brown hair. I porbably could have done better if i did it myself. And paid about 400 for a sloppy mess, and barely got a haircut yet again. I went back to get it recolored, and the next lady basically toned my hair (or didnt tone my hair) and it looks like straw. hay. horrible. streaky, discolored, a mess. I dont feel like I can really go back for a THIRD time after the first two times were awful. Im dissapointed, becuase I really loved going here when they first opened and like supporting businesses in the local community. The quality of work has drastically decreased from 2019. If the price was half, then I coudnt really complain. But to charge someone 400 for croocked, unblended, uncut and unstyled hair seems so crazy to me. I should have gone to SuperCuts instead, and would have saved myself a ton of money.

Ally was amazing and listened to my daughter's ideas and also added her expertise. The end result was beautiful and natural which was perfect for my daughter's age. We were extremely happy.

Great experience with Lara ! Also Met Mikayla who did my fiance's hair color and cut ( can do men's curly hair). Lara has been a huge part of helping keep my hair looking fresh and healthy as I have been working to regrow it after some medical issues that caused hair loss. She's had great tips and helped me get my confidence back, really understands my fine hair texture and also fabulous at color! Highly recommend, very timely and great experience!

Lora Moon styling is nothing short of amazing! When you were here, you feel like family. They will take care of your hair and make sure that you look your best! Not only will they do expert hair coloring, and the best haircuts in Scottsdale, but they work with all types of hair textures and unique looks! The team and staff is wonderful, and will make sure that you have the best hair in Scottsdale! I love this place, and I cannot wait to come back! Thank you Laura and her team! The 1-star reviews are clearly spam. Friendly staff & fair pricing. I went in to get my bangs trimmed, usually a flat price of $20-25 at Great Clips/Hair Cuttery, was only charged $10 & a stylist saw me right away. They also sell small house plants. Will definitely be a return customer.

I wanted to support a local but had a horrible experience,first of all it was really expensive. I wanted to get a perm,but I got hate crimed for being gay, I tried to forget it but then they asked who is my favorite artist and I said LOONA,after they heard my answer they shaved my head,,never coming here ever again

Lora Moon Styling has always done an excellent job with my hair! I have been coming here since they first opened and never once have they let me down. This time around I asked for a fun split dye for my fun graduation pictures. Brandon is awesome and did such an amazing job with the color and style I was going for!!! Incredibly satisfied, as I have been for the last 10 years!!! Reception is awesome and Lora herself is incredibly kind. Truly a wonderful business and I am so happy I have been able to support this small business for so many years!!! I always recommend them to everyone in the Scottsdale area.

I tried this salon for the first time today for color. It has such a pretty and artistic atmosphere. My stylist, Ali, took her time, found the perfect color for me, and it blended beautifully! She even took the time to show me a great way to style it because I told her how difficult it is for me since my hair is so thick. Overall, fabulous experience and I will definitely be back!

I was recently a first-time client at Lora Moon Styling and I LOVED it! It’s such a cute salon and it has a great atmosphere. The plants throughout the salon add to the pleasant ambience and the owner, Gabe, greeted me at the front right away. Both him and Lora, the other owner, are so nice. I loved that they have plants for sale and I liked the hair color mix bar where I watched the stylists mix hair color while getting shampooed. Most importantly, I love the results of my hair color and cut! I got bangs and a balayage from Sydney and it looks awesome. My hair looks great and I had good conversations with the stylists and owners… I’ll be sure to come back, and maybe grab a plant too! 🙌

My husband and I both see Aimee for our haircuts and she has done my coloring with Oway products. We love her!! We both have difficult to manage hair and she gave us both the cut that we haven't been able to find in Phoenix for the 7 years! We appreciate a stylist that keeps up to date on techniques, styles and trends. We highly recommend her! (she has a fabulous, fun personality). If you have come across negative reviews ... they are fake. This whole salon and business is quite fantastic.

I absolutely love everything about Lora Moon’s salon. The second you enter, the ambience welcomes you with beautiful fresh plants from Pink Moon Botanicals. Lora only uses organic hair and color products and her stylists are all so talented. While you typically only want to go to one stylist, I have found that every single stylist at Lora Moon is incredibly and you’re in good hands. Her newest stylists is Anna who moved to Arizona from Seattle where she had her own salon. She has 20 years of experience and I absolutely loved her work! She was such a nice stylist to chat with too, along with all the others there! This salon is so welcoming, relaxing and professional.

Sydney is amazing! I love the cut she did on my hair. My hair feels so much healthier and the layers she added are beautiful and give my hair lots of movement. Everyone at the salon was very friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. I couldn’t recommend this place more, and I can’t wait to come back!
