So grateful for Sophia, I was experiencing constant pain in my shoulder for months and she was able to squeeze me in last minute, and it was immediately after finishing client. She was so attentive and although it was painful she knew what to do to release 95% of my problem area in a short time. I highly recommend!!

I got the best treatment from Sophia while waiting for my flight. I have lots of tightness and pain in my back neck and hips. She knew exactly what to do to help me and found all my trigger points. I wish I could take her back to Florida with me thanks so much Sophia :) highly recommend she is the real deal

She was a life saver. I had really bad (like terrible) crook in my neck and didn’t know if I could even work. Her style of massage is unique but most important deep tissue and effective. She was also flexible with her schedule since I was in such discomfort and I tipped accordingly (well Deserved). The only other thing worth noting was that she does not leave the room when you are undressing or getting dressed. I never experienced that before. I tried to address it but it was awkward. She also only used a small pillow case size fabric to cover you during the massage.

Fantastic. Sophia's partner or coworker was fantastic. I wanted deep tissue work for upper back, neck and calves. She was great! Definitely be back soon.

I called last minute for a 90 minute deep tissue massage and luckily was able to get last appointment of night. Massage was great! The lady asked if I wanted medium or hard pressure. I choose hard! The massage was wonderful. It was painful in a good way. She always asked if it was ok but continued with pressure if I didn’t complain. Stretching was also incorporated within the 90 minutes. If you want a good legit deep tissue massage, this is your place. 5 stars, will definitely come again!

I have suffered for YEARS. I have headaches daily, back pain daily, and hip pain. After my session, my headache literally went away. I was able to step into my pants without hearing my back click. Lotus massage is amazing! I’ve tried many massage places in the Charlotte area and have yet to come to find an excellent masseuse that can do deep tissue work. 10 out of 10!

This might be the first public review I have ever done but I wanted to in Sophia’s case. I honestly can’t recommend her enough, I was experiencing years of chronic pain in multiple areas that just wouldn’t go away. Sophia asked at the beginning of our appointment what those areas were; shoulder, lower back, calf, hip. Much of this I’d accepted as just status quo, I’d gotten massages several times over the years that were marginally helpful. Miraculously, every single issue I mentioned is now pain free after just one visit. I’m going back for a follow-up to break up more scar tissue, and I won’t ever go anywhere else from here on out. She’s also as inexpensive as you’re going to find, and her experience in not only Massage Therapy but Sports Medicine make her truly unique.

Lotus Balance is exactly what comes to mind when I think about a deep tissue massage. The attention to detail, the environment the great service. Melissa got knots out in places I didn't even think existed. Unlike other "luxurious spas", Lotus Balance gave me exactly what I needed when it comes to deep tissue. There was not 1 part of my body that felt missed or over looked. I don't live in the area but I will definitely be back!

I went to see Sophia because she has many good reviews and my body was feeling very tied, after finishing the session for 90 minutes I was feeling so fresh and in very good mood, not tired anymore,until now (8 days after that massage) I am still feeling younger. I highly recommend her,her massage is really different and unique!

If I could give 6 out of 5 stars I would. After dealing with a spasm in my back and shoulder and the staff was attentive, careful, and diligent. Highly recommend. Will go again.

Finally pain relief - definitely come here for neuromuscular massage. I’ve had 4 cervical spine surgeries, and was having constant pain, headaches, and locked muscles. I came for the first time today, and after 90 minutes can turn my head without pain.

I fell and got a contusion of the back. I was having severe Muscle spasms and pain so bad I felt like I was being squeezed in a vice. I found this Massage therapist on line and she was was amazing. She did in one session what PT could not do in 4. PT was treating the symptoms not the root cause of my injury. Im sore now but not in constant pain. I would highly recommend Lotus balance massage to anyone needing relief from tight muscles and muscle pain.

This is the massage I’ve always wanted.. and needed! I had so many knots in my neck, shoulders, and back and she found every single one. She found every spot I’ve been working at, and spots I didn’t even know were neglected and in pain. I drove 2.5 hours to get to this appointment, and I’ll do it again because I will absolutely be going back!! I got a two hour massage and she filled every minute of that time with working my knots out.
