Well Kim I on the other hand was amazed by the service and the respect of customers. Catherine was amazing and listen to me when I had doubts and. Shannon the stylist was phenomenal with you daughter and patient with her and heard everything and delivered exactly she had asked for and accommodated her. She did great work of Catherine was sick I would go see Shannon. Every single female in that salon knows their stuff. You daughter in the other had was rude and tried to tell her how to do her job. You might want to get both side of the story before you go off on the person who did those job with all the request she had made.

Awful experience. Arrived and they didn't even have my appointment on the book. Told me to come back and the manager Kim would do my haircut. Came back and was rushed rhrough a horrible haircut. Paid $75 for a terrible haircut. I could have gotten a better cut at Great Clips. Called them 3 times to speak with the manager about getting my money refunded and no answer, even sent a email and no response. Higher end salon does not men a better experience or haircut. Do not go here, they do a horrible job and keep your money and never respond to your calls or email. Buyer beware!! My response to them. 1. I did make an appointment and it was confirmed. 2. My daughter had to fix this horrible cut, she was in awe that they allowed cuts like this yo leave their shop. and since now cuts it because if all the bad cut I have received in this town. 3. Great Clips is a good place to go if you need a quick military cut or kids cut. 4. Conversation was great to keep me occupied to not notice the uneven, choppy horrible cut that I did not ask for. When asked how I liked it, it was ok in that light there. When I got home and could see it better and che k the style I saw how bad it was. Immediately called the salon ( left a message)and did email them. I can attach ithe email to this review if you like. Long story short 30 years experience does not make you a good stylist. What makes you a good stylist is listening to the client, not rushing through a cut and making it right even if they call you the next day and say "Hey, this doesnt look right". You use exuses but never tried to make it right, like I said in my original post buyer beware! Peace ✌️

Booked an appointment for a trim and a major color change to rose gold, and the staff was extremely nice as well as professional. Any issue I had as the color developed, they went out of their way to fix. It ended up turning out very nice.

I've been coming here for over six years and have seen different stylists throughout. All the stylists I've sat for asked questions and listened to what I wanted instead of just chopping away. Now I'm bringing my daughter to their new location. My daughter has to die for perfect princess curls, so I don't let just anyone cut her hair.

My wife will be coming back to this salon all the time now. They made her look so beautiful just a Miss Universe pageant. ❤️ It’s worth every price they have. They are really skilled too! Best salon ever!! Thank you for making my wife look gorgeous as ever! ❤️

Really enjoyed my most recent cut, at Lotus Salon. This glass store front simply affords a white sign with black writing, along with a circled "L" on the door. Check-in as soon as you enter and after your stylist will take you across wooden floors to a black chair, then escort you to everyone's favorite part, the head massage, I mean your shampoo. Response after voicemail was lacking, but apologies were extended. Parking is ample, though shared with other businesses, just be cautious crossing from your parking spot to the entrance.

I would love to give a review on an actual haircut... but I have never made it past the front desk. Made an appointment a week in advance... they called and canceled the morning of. Couple weeks later I made another appointment with a weeks notice. They again call and cancel 15 minutes before. I get that the stylists are independent and life happens. But two different stylists a month a part? Something isnt being managed properly in this salon. I was so excited to work with this stylist, but the way the receptionist handled our interaction made me never want to step foot in this salon ever again.

Excellent salon. Kim did an amazing cut and color, and I am so picky about color and highlights. She nailed it my first visit! Plus they are extremely kind and accommodating. I got my appt. time mixed up and they called and still let me come in late, amazing. So thrilled I found a great salon!

From the moment I went in for my consult, I met Kat. Her energy is incredible. We discussed what I wanted and the process of how to get there. Once my appointment came, she was just an incredible as the first meeting we had for my consult. The color was beyond what I thought we could get, as I am a dark brunette almost black… and went red! I love my color. Found someone whom is stuck with me as her client 😁😁 from start to finish she was beyond amazing.

I wanted something drastic and really wanted a bob that was longer in the front because I had super long hair and always wore it in a bun and got headaches daily. I was terrified to get it cut because with all my experiences I’ve never been able to leave with what I wanted and the cut has never actually been true to being a bob. I found Jasmine and I tell you she is absolutely amazing! She gave me exactly what I wanted and had me leaving feeling great! The lady that sits at the desk was the sweetest lady as well! The environment was great! Hands down the best experience I have ever had!

My friend and I booked the Essential Tranquility package to celebrate our birthdays. Massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, shampoo/blow dry and lunch. Five hours of spa heaven! When we arrived, we learned that the massage therapist had gone into labor the night before and was the proud mama of a baby girl. So exciting! Understandably, we were unable to enjoy a massage that day, but the entire staff did everything they could to pamper us in excess. They went WAY above and beyond to make it "right" even though we weren't even a tiny bit upset about missing out on our massages. A new baby after all!!!! (so exciting!) It was clear that everyone there had worked together for some time and they were all super excited for their friend. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again and again. Thank you!!!

Reply to Lotus’ claims that this is a fake review- Obviously, this is not my legal name; this is my Social Media profile as a tribute to Janet Evanovich’s characters. I promise I am/was a legitimate client of Sara Cunnigham’s. I am a real live person. How else would I have a Local Guide status if I was not verified? Everything in this review was legit; I noticed that part was not disputed. The attempt to discredit the reviewer proves my credibility. This practice of gaslighting someone you disagree with is a bad practice for your brand and business. How else would I have been able to take a picture of the spa waiting room and post it with the original review? BTW, that’s been seen over 25K times. **UPDATED REVIEW - 20 Aug 2022 Service I have delayed writing this updated review because I didn’t want negative repercussions for a former employee who is also related to me. However, after recent events unfolded, I feel compelled as my reputation and integrity are on the line; I am reducing my original 4-star rank to 2. This reduction is solely due to the services received on the above date by stylist Sandra G., a recent addition at Lotus Salon & Spa. She was available for my color touch-up because Sara was booked. I reluctantly accepted the appointment and regretted it for many reasons. First, IMO, Sandra used excessive hair pulling force when she used a comb or brushed through my hair throughout the session. My “ouch” comment resulted in increased pain, and I felt complaining at that point would make it worse. Second, Sandra claimed to be an “expert” with hair coloring techniques; I beg to differ. She disapproved of my colors because I didn’t let her use a fall palette on my head. She also took additional time after rinsing to add a variety of extra color toners resulting in significantly dried-out hair with spots that weren’t even touched up. Third, she tried to convince me to add a haircut to my service, which I wasn’t booked for, and I declined because I only felt comfortable with Sara cutting my hair. Despite my statement, “I’m only here for the color touch-up, not a haircut,” she charged me for one at checkout on top of a style. I mentioned this to the receptionist, “she didn’t cut my hair.” We walked back to the chair, there was no hair on the floor, and the floor vacuum had not been used. She told me she’d take care of it, yet it wasn’t, as Sandra received payment for everything she stated she did. Apparently, Sandra has a habit of overcharging clients for services that contradict long-standing Lotus tradition – free bang trims or style with service. After overhearing the policy explained to a new client, she fumed that she “doesn’t work for free; I charge $15 for bangs because I have a family to feed.” It saddens me that some “professionals” feel they have to rip off their clients and lie, feeling no qualms while doing so. These are antics one would not expect at a “high-end salon,” yet here we are. Please note that my rating would have stayed as it was if the recent events had not occurred. I have reservations about supporting a company that condones this underhand behavior towards clients. I still feel Sara is a fantastic stylist and highly recommend her. **Original Review** Sara is the best hair artist in the city. Always happy with the results. Have been a client for over 10 years! The spa services are excellent as well. Want to be pampered and feel special? Make an appointment and relax here. Amazing Aveda products are used at this salon.

Several weeks ago I had two services performed at Lotus Salon by nail tech Abby. The pedicure was fine. The gel manicure, however, began to peel the day after and by within 3 to 4 days all but 3 nails had completely peeled off. It was very disappointing. We were on a trip which is why we had the services done. I sent an email to Lotus about the problem requesting a refund for the gel manicure, and have not as yet heard back. It’s been a month. I cannot recommend Lotus salon for gel manicures.

After being there once and having a wonderful experience, I decided to go back for a second time. Where to even start! They scheduled me with a different stylist which wasn't an issue for me. She was nice but also very quiet. Which made my experience very awkward. Having to sit there for hours in silence is quite odd. My hair was rushed and completely looked horrific. A complete hack job. Sadly, the color was just as bad. I had some inspiration photos of where my overall vision was for my hair. I left in tears. I told her my concerns and she told me just to go home & play with it a little to see if I can "fix it". I'm sorry but you can't fix uneven cut hair! She told me if I was unhappy to call back and we could fix it. So that's what I did. Coming back to correct my hair was such a mean girl experience. The owner had quite the snotty remarks about how I can't get exactly what I want when it comes to color when you show your stylist inspiration photos bc of filters they apply to them. (The cut & color didn't have to be exact but close would've sufficed. And it was far from being close!) And of course the owner and another stylist had something to say about the color just when my stylist was finishing up with my hair. What perfect timing for their passive aggressive remarks.. Which was quite hilarious and immature for some grown women to act in such a way. What a shame. I emphasize that I never had issues in the past & always got exactly what I wanted everytime. Even there with a different stylist. Their customer service needs a little tweaking. A positive approach towards people can go along way. Women should support women 🙂 After having to pay $200 plus tip for a complete mess just blows my mind. I hope they can calmly understand mistakes happen and not everyone is going to be satisfied with a rushed job. I wouldn't recommend this Salon to anyone. The 2 stars are for the 1st experience I had with the amazing stylist I had a pleasure of meeting! In my opinion her level of expertise & customer service surpass anyone employed with Lotus Salon. That's just my opinion. Other than that I would rate it a 1 star!

Amazing salon, very friendly ladies and always willing to work with me and my schedule. Sarah is amazing when it comes to nails and Cat just blows me away with the vibrant colors that come of her chair. Definitely a hidden gem in Colorado Springs!

Ginger cut my hair and I am absolutely in love with my new style. She listened to what I wanted and made sure I was 100% satisfied before we finished. Would recommend Ginger to all my friends.

I cannot say enough about how much I truly enjoy coming here. For years I have had them change my color, match my color , Grow my hair, cut my hair off etc. But, just recently decided to stop battling my gray hair and go with it. Sarah blended my gray growth with portions of my hair and I truly love it. I also have received a large number of compliments. Yes I am a continuing customer, but it says a lot about your Salon when family, friends and even strangers come up and ask, "where do you go to get your hair done." It speaks even more volume when my Aunts, sisters and Mother, are their now return customers also. I would not go anywhere else. <3

I had an appointment last friday for a cut and blow dry of my long hair with Abby, she ripped through my hair with a brush repeatedly and cut my hair crooked. Terrible experience, I had to go to another salon to get it fixed and I am sad I paid for it. Think twice before booking.

Sarah the nail gal was fun and open to create the nails I have always wanted. I know it sounds silly I have my nails done a billion times but this set came out spot on. I told her I had a few events coming up and she found a great color. She doesn’t use a drill which blew my mind. It was a great experience. She has a customer for life I think.
