Since September 2012, Lotus Spa has been providing Indianapolis and its surrounding areas with a blend of professional spa, nail, and waxing services. Our high-quality, fairly priced, and expert services are sought out in the area, and we are extremely proud of the trusted reputation we have built over the years. In July 2018, we celebrated our success and continued support from our clients by doubling the size of our footprint and expanding our service offerings. The newly renovated side, a.k.a. Face & Body Zone, focuses on face and body services and retail products for skin care, nail care, and body care. The original Lotus Spa & Nails, a.k.a. Nail Zone, focuses on nail services.

Lotus is the best! I've tried nail salons all over the city and Lotus is by far the best. Friendly staff, clean space and great work. Highly recommend!

I love everything about Lotus. The spa is lovely and the people that work there are wonderful. Just got an epic hot rocks pedi and a gel Mani. I will be back.

I had a pedicure with an incorrect color and they did not cut down my nails. They did not use a color that I wanted. I expressed my dislike and when I returned to discuss my experience they became very aggressive towards me, speaking in another language and arguing with me about my experience. They had a newer aesthetician and even after I expressed my dislike of color and length of my nails. She did not change the polish or cut the nail down. She disregarded what I say. I remained calm and they did not want to help me. I wanted my nails to be cut down and a different color not white. I had parked in the handicapped spot to quick go in and although there was other spots, they made. it a point to mention it and how I am "cheating the system" I then proceeded to ask for a refund because I felt anxious about having them touch my feet. The communication in this establishment is broken. I do not recommend this business. Whatsoever. They do not listen and the services are too expensive compared to more professional and customer-centered nail salon's. UPDATE** I was listening to everything you and your staff was saying to my veteran family member. And what you didn't know is that I understood every word your staff said about my friend. looking at your reviews and another customer that was sitting there also indicated to Lotus needs to focus on not being so deceitful and LISTEN ACTIVELY TO ITS CUSTOMERS. You people have too many reviews trashing your service and how you do not listen. Look at your reviews. I'll be so happy to continue to advocate for my veteran friend. What you people saw were things through your own lies. He He was not aggressive and I took it upon myself to initiate in writing about how unprofessional and deceitful you people all are. You accuse my friend of being petty. You are all racists. Be bold and say everything that I heard you people say in your language to his face IN ENGLISH. You all are disgraceful and disgusting people. Most of all you are delusional. The aesthetician kept in disregarding what he was saying when he told her the first time he did not like the color. Besides who doesn't cut down nails - they looked like fangs and claws. We are happy to take our money else where and report how bad your business truly is. We heard about this location through another friend and are happy to report she will not be returning there.

Not sanitary at all, went for eyebrow and lip wax, lady said they don’t typically use gloves when doing that service, and also didn’t wash hands before - used some sort of “sanitizer” and then used the same stick to dip in wax multiple times after already being used on my face and then used the same “sanitizer” to wipe my face afterwards . Would not recommend and maybe would maybe advise health dept to check it out

My mom, daughter and I went to the place a few times. The work is mediocre & very rushed. Super pricey compared to the quality of work. Today I got a color change for my dip powder (not a manicure) and paid $52 just for the dip to get soaked off and the new dip added. No cuticle care or anything. Mind you, I only had 6 nails with dip on them still because the rest fell off even though it has only been exactly (2) weeks since last service at the same place. I also got my gel polish on my toes drilled off and new polish, paid $37 for that service. Again no cuticle care. Would have been better off paying for a full pedicure. If you want a relaxing experience and a place where you will get your money worth, this is not the place for you.

My pedi is okay, my wax is okay, my nails are okay. It used to be my favorite place, sadly not anymore. Just got everything done less than 30 mins ago.

Thus us my first time patroning this business and I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The polish quality was poor. The serviced were overpriced, and the end results were not up to par. I paid $50.00 for a pedicure and $49.00 fir s fill in. I asked for a price as expected with most nail salons/spas, and none could be provided. Nor could they give a general quote. This was not worth it at all.

Walked up to the pedicure chair (that was duct taped) to find that I couldn't feel the massage aspect at all. Moved to a new chair..same. by the third chair issue, I figured this would be indicative to my service had I stayed. The more I looked around, I realized it did not live up to the standard of cleanliness I hold salons to. I left. Would not even consider returning, so do not recommend. Save yourself the trip..

I had a pedicure, no toenail polish. I asked for the Hydro Attention Pedicure and had an excellent experience. The care of my feet was enjoyable, and the leg and foot massage was just what I needed after a good leg day at the gym. I plan to continue going here.

It was a stressful and unsatisfactory experience. My nail tech never once asked if I liked the shape of my nails, she didn't ask if that was the exact color I wanted. I also had a finger injury, and I figured my nail tech would be gentle or ask my questions about it, or in at least some way be careful. Nope, just manhandled it like my other fingers. The final nails are mis-shapen, globby, and uncomfortable. (Not to mention this was after I asked of If someone could kindly reshape my original nails.) My sisters were the same way. The work and professionalism were low quality at best, and the prices were overstated. I wish this business no ill, but they seriously need perform far better work for there prices. Don't get acrylics here.

I’ve been coming here for years and they are by far the best nail salon in the city. I recently got a hydro facial with Minh and it was the best facial I’ve ever had. 5 big stars!!!

My rating applies to my third visit to Lotus Spa and Nails. My first two experiences were good. In fact, my first manicure lasted 3-1/2 weeks and the second almost two. My third experience, however, deserves a negative rating. He brutally filed my nails with a coarse file. He cut all of them down to fingertip length. He used a coarse file on the tips as well as the tops of my nails. Before I even got home three of them were peeling. In the course of the past week all except both pinkie and one ring finger have peeled back and had to be shortened. I’d like to return because the two female manicurists did a fine job for me. But this guy was brutal. It will be at least a month before my nails look healthy. I’m looking for a different salon.

Online it says the lotus signature pedicure is 30 minutes She finished my pedicure and massage in 15 minutes and charged me the full price. Felt rushed and never got a relaxed feeling. Never coming back here, oh and she stabbed me in the foot trying to hit the drain 😭

We hoped things had changed. They hadn’t. When we got pedicures, we went to Lotus. It wasn’t monthly, more like quarterly or before vacation. The music was nice, the massage chairs were lovely, and the signature pedicures were fantastic. Then we had a few pedis that weren’t up to snuff. They weren’t horrible but the technician seemed rushed and skipped steps. So we decided to try another nail spa and hadn’t gone to Lotus for a while. Yesterday, 10/10/22, we decided to give them another try so I called in the morning and scheduled 2 Hydro Attention Pedicures for 2pm. We arrived a few minutes early and were shown to our chairs a few minutes after 2pm. They filled the basin and invited us to turn on the massage chairs. We were disappointed there wasn’t any salts added to the water and the jets weren’t turned on. My wife’s technician started right away. I waited. And waited. And waited. 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I asked the technician if she knew when someone would be starting my pedi. No one had come over to me to tell me what was going on or assure me that someone would be with me asap. Just tell me what’s going on instead of leaving me hanging. I made the appointments for the same time so we didn’t have to wait for each other. The tech what was working with my wife seemed very distracted, checking her phone multiple times. She also skipped steps. She didn’t put anything on her cuticles, push them back, trim them or remove any unwanted skin. The website says this service is supposed to last about 40 minutes and cost $50. Hers lasted 30 minutes, mine hadn’t even started, and she was charged the full price. My tech was lovely, apologized for my wait, did everything listed on the site, and I was very happy with her work. When I was time to check out, the owner of the spa came over and explained that my tech was having an issue with the previous client’s polish and that was the reason for the wait. Please, please have the courtesy to say this from the start. Not after we’ve been inconvenienced. With masked faces and plexi glass for germ safety, I thought the owner said she was going to comp my service and I was very appreciative. Turns out I did not hear her correctly. When I saw the receipt, she gave me a $10 discount and we were charged the full amount for my wife’s very lack-luster pedi. $91.50 in total with the credit card transaction fee. This was terrible customer service from the start, it will be the last time we go to Lotus, and we won’t be recommending it when someone asks for a great place to get their nails done.
