If there was a 0 star for this review I would select 0 stars. I had issues with this place a couple of years ago. My hair turned out orange and you could clearly see my hair was cut 3 different lengths and NOT cause I wanted it that way. I kept my mouth shut when they messed my hair up but now I'm hearing they are STILL in business and STILL screwing peoples hair up! Something should be done about this. My 5 year old can cut hair better than these people!!!!

Lesley always does a fantastic job! Very thorough and knows the best products to use for your hair type. She always makes my hair look and feel 10 out of 10 and gives great advice on how to best take care of it at home!

Rochelle at Hair Lounge in Reno,Nevada butchered My girlfriends hair and She is in tears, not to mention the dye job is horrendous,and none of it was even close to like Rochelle said She could do. We are currently in the process of filing a Civil Suit as this has adversely affected Our lives,and the Owner"Tess",is abhorrent in Customer Service/Relations and cannot be communicated with Professionally, so this is the route We have undertaken. With that said,We would prefer to file Class Action,so We are seeking Men and Women that have had similar experiences with Hair Lounge and/or its employees and have been stonewalled in Your attempts to receive a Fair Service. If You do not have video/pictoral proof to substantiate Your claim,or You are not willing to be Subpoenaed to Testify,please state that right away.This suit will be carried out both Proffesionally and Personally from a Law Firm based in Reno,Nevada and this Team will be handling the entire Claim once We have the number of claimants required to file Class Action.Thank You.

Staff was wonderful. Rachel did a great job in my hair for my wedding. If I ever had an event in Reno again I would go to her to have my hair done. She was just lovely.

Tess is amazing! I went from below shoulder length hair to an amazing short pixie cut. I was ready for a change. She welcomed me and made me feel like I frequent the salon much more often than I do. She gave me a call to have the option to come in earlier in the day as there were adjustments in her schedule. She is amazingly conscientious during this crazy Covid time. If you are looking for a professional, wonderful place to have your salon needs catered to, give her a call!

I just left this same review on Yelp and I'm posting it on Google also because I want to let everyone know how awesome Heather is ... Let me start by saying that Heather is amazing! She's not listed on the website yet, so it's a little harder to find examples of her work, but hopefully she will be soon. My stylist retired and a friend, who also went to that person, and I had to find someone new. My friend saw Heather first and loved her color. The main thing that my friend told me, which really sold me, was that Heather listened carefully to her when she explained what she wanted her hair to look like in the end. She was so happy with the result, that she referred me. I am writing this review because I absolutely love my hair and want to explain why Heather is so talented. I have been coloring my naturally brown (and gray) hair ash blonde for a few years now and anyone who has an ashy tone, whether blonde or brunette, knows that ash is hard to get right, let alone maintain for any amount of time, without yellow and/or brassiness creeping in. I really liked my former stylist, but I found that my hair was hit or miss and sometimes I wasn't happy with it. Once Heather started doing my hair, the color has been perfect and easy to maintain with an occasional purple shampoo and masque, which I apply at home, between appointments. She's saving me money due to needing fewer and less extensive touch ups and I can't say enough about how beautiful the color is. One important point that I want to mention is that the friend who referred me to Heather is also blonde, but her hair is golden blonde with sun-kissed highlights - a completely different tone than mine. Heather is an expert with both warm and cool blonde tones, which is really important to me (because blonde hair does not GROW on my head - as mentioned, I'm naturally, full-on brunette) or anyone else trying to get blonde hair right! I also brought my preteen daughter in for a fun color and cut (which she desperately needed). Heather suggested a rich burgundy-red. The color and cut were gorgeous my daughter and I were extremely happy. Besides being a brilliant colorist, Heather is very sweet and easy to talk to. Even my preteen daughter loved her - any anyone with a preteen kid knows that they don't love ANYONE! That's huge. Thank you Heather!

Wow this place is absolutely amazing! I called many places to make an appointment that same day to go blonde and I called them! They called me back in 10 minutes! one of the hairstylist had a cancellation and booked me 30 minutes later!! I went from brown,black hair to a beautiful cream blonde!! My hair was not damaged! Feels amazing! Looks beautiful! I’ve been waiting so long to be this color! And the hairstylist at this location did my hair in less than two hours! They have a buffet of teas to pick from! I would 100% recommend this place no doubt about it and the prices are absolutely amazing I paid 120 for a whole bleached head! I would still recommend this place! Thank you!
