I love it here so much 🥹. Jenna is always so thoughtful and really listens so that she can give me the best cut every time. I get really emotional about my hair and I trust her with to take care of me. The whole team, as well as the Barbershop Mildred next door are so sweet and I always feel like I’m visiting with my best friends when I’m there. It’s cozy, clean, and in a quiet, tucked away area in NYC.

Finally found THE salon. Christine is amazing. She’s warm and friendly and she really listened to all my concerns. She takes her time with you so you never feel rushed. She cut my wavy hair so meticulously and gave me gorgeous blonde highlights that have grown out so natural and low maintenance. The salon is so chill and cozy. Just amazing vibes with the whole experience. Can not wait to go back!

I've been seeing Jenna for highlights and cut for almost 5 years, I get constant compliments for how natural the color looks. The vibe of love dunnette is *chef's kiss*, Playlist is always fire, it feels like you are hanging out with friends but the team is still super professional. I've reccomended several friends to Love Dunette and will continue to do so for as long as I know anyone with hair in New York.

I’ve been coming to Love, Dunette since it opened even though I moved five hours upstate. That’s how great it is. Jenna completely transformed my hair. With her cut and product recs, I only wash my hair every three or four days, I never blow dry it, and it’s never been this healthy and naturally wavy. She also magically figured out how to color my hair so my grays naturally blend in and I don’t have to do a single process every 5 weeks anymore. My hair has never looked better and yet my maintenance is lower than ever. It’s a dream! The space is beautiful and relaxed and you always end up chatting with someone in the chair next to you. Somehow everyone is always cool and friendly in there. Jenna is also an exceptional human. I sat in her chair while my father was hospitalized and she extended more compassion and grace to me than some of my closest friends. You will walk out looking and FEELING so much better because there’s nothing superficial about her or the incredible space she’s created with Christine.

Love, Dunette is my happy place. Between the incredible cut, great conversation Jenna always delivers, the puppy pets and great vibes – it’s a perfect escape from my crazy daily life. I still drive 2.5 hours just to come back for my appointments and always will.

SIMPLY THE BEST! Not only is the vibe warm and welcoming here, but all the stylists and patrons are super nice. The salon is just simply a happy place for everyone. Christine has been cutting my hair for almost two years, she has shepherded my hair from an awkward lob (from a previous salon) into the long, luscious cut of my dreams. Christine is so easy to talk to and communicate with. I always leave the salon with a smile on my face and really look forward to my appointments. Her prices are very reasonable, especially considering the value of the cuts and the time she dedicates solely to my hair, she never double books or rushes a cut, and I always feel really taken care of in her chair. Cannot recommend Love, Dunette enough!

This review is so long overdue! I’ve been coming to Love, Dunette since they opened. Since going to Christine, long gone is the angst I used to feel before getting a cut or color. Not only wildly talented, she makes you feel completely at ease. The space & energy naturally make you feel comfortable as well. We’ve gone from ombré, blonde (gradually & with care - no breakage), brunette, highlights, long & short hair since 2017! My hair/therapist magic creator is truly the best :). Highly recommend!! Honestly, the entire team & experience is one of a kind! Just love them. Book your appt!

Every time I visit Love, Dunette I have had an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff and amazing puppy and immediately felt welcomed. My hairstylist, Christine was attentive and listened to exactly what I wanted. She provided suggestions and helped me choose the perfect color and cut for my hair. Her technique was so impressive and nothing I have ever experienced before! During the service, I was offered complimentary beverage- which made my nerves about cutting my hair that much easier. The salon atmosphere was clean, calming, and had a great vibe. It was clear that the staff takes great pride in their work and truly cares about their clients' satisfaction. After the service, I was thrilled with the end result. My hair looked and felt amazing and I received many compliments from friends and family. Overall, I highly recommend Love, Dunette Salon to anyone looking for a premium salon experience and excellent service.

Have been getting my hair done by Christine for almost 10 years. The space she has curated at Love, Dunette is almost as lovely as she is. I would bet she is one of the most careful and skilled colorists in the city. She is great at guiding you about what will get the best results without damaging your hair. I love that my color and cut always grows out nicely between visits.

She’s helped me get healthy hair, be it long or short. She’s always honest when giving feedback and explaining what can work best for my hair texture and life style. I have been seeing Jenna for many years for haircuts and highlights, and she is just the best. One of her strongest qualities is how she really personalizes her services to fit the individual client. In the past I had told other stylists “I will only ever air dry my naturally wavy hair,” but Jenna has been the only one who really respects this and makes a cut that works exceedingly well with my hair’s natural texture (and my low maintenance preference). She gives great routine hair care advice (and isn’t judgy when I don’t listen sometimes). Not to mention she has a wonderful energy and personality. Love the salon space too-always friendly and welcoming.
