I was hesitant at first about giving a bad review on a black owned business but every time I get my hair done now I get so angry specifically when I get two strand twist because I have an uneven number of locs now. I came into the salon with 156 locs and left with 137. I had been going to this “loctician” for about a year and stopped and thank god because I would’ve ended up with 30 locs in my head by the time he was done. The “loctician” was very lazy and didn’t even let me know what he was doing with my hair. Every time he did my hair he said “whew girl you got a lot of locs” but never mentioned combing any of my locs. Let that be the decision of the person whose hair you’re doing and not because you’re lazy!

You get great service when you come there to get your hair done. They’re very knowledgeable about hairstyles hair texture. I have interlock and I love it and if you’re looking for old-school hairstylist that wash and dry your hair for reason for a good price, come to Love Kinky Hair Salon. It’s a husband and wife team.

I went to this salon last year, and I enjoy the atmosphere of this salon, the couple that runs this salon appears to be really nice people. The reason why I gave this place two stars, is because the people who run this salon are very unprofessional, when it comes to taking appointments and answering calls. I have been trying to schedule an appointment with this salon for weeks now, which is absolutely ridiculous.

This is only my second time going but I had a great experience both times. Kim seems knowledgeable and that oil they sell is great for hair AND skin! She has my mane manageable for the first time since I went natural. Ima let her keep managing it!

I absolutely love these guys, they are the best. Jamal is very creative with loc styles and the style last me for a couple of months. They all are excellent with teaching you to care for your locs between visits. No one else can touch my locs, not even myself. Love you all❤

Black owned and loved! They are a married couple and co-owner. They specialize in locs including sister locs (Rashied) but they do twists as well. My daughter gets beautiful natural styles thanks to Kim!
