I had an amazing experience at the salon with Christina! During my consultation, she truly listened to what I wanted, and when I came back for my service, my hair color and style turned out absolutely beautiful. I’ve never so felt comfortable in a beauty salon before. Christina helped me feel like my inside finally matched my outside. After being a stay-at -home mom for six years and recently returning to work, I wanted to look good without playing it safe - and she delivered! Green is my favorite color, and started my loc journey had been so awesome. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my hair, and it feels amazing! Thank you, Christina. You’re the bes!

I recently moved to Raleigh and had been doing my hair myself while I looked for a hairdresser. Love Jones Stylez has been an answer to my prayers. Christina is a true artist! My hair needed to be cut and styled. She hooked it up, exceeding my expectations. The best part is that Christina is kind and patient. She makes you feel like she's on your team and wants the best for your hair, just like you do. You're not just a number when you're in her chair. Its an amazing salon! The staff in general is very understanding and GIVE HAIRCUT AS YOU WANT TO. Christina was very patient with my hair and suggested a haircut most suitable to my face, along with perms. Absolutely loved the vibe - homely, fun, welcoming, warm. Given the attention to details they give, their rates are very reasonable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND 💯

I’m new at RTP and I was desperate to find a place to get my hair done, after hours of scrolling reviews about salons thankfully I found this amazing place, I felt so welcomed and the girl( sorry I don’t remember the name) but she definitely did and amazing job whit my sew in, Love it I definitely will be back soon

Stopped by after work for brief consultation. Encounter was professional and genuine. Salon is clean and welcoming. Appointment two days later and very satisfied with color application, interlocking and Bantu knot style. In and out in less than 2.5 hours. Very demure, very mindful. 😉 She is the real deal.

100/10 experience. Not only were both Christina and Emoni amazing, but they make sure their clients feel welcome and at peace. I got a silk press and trim with Emoni today and I'm still in awe of how much better my hair feels and looks. She was very informative of what next steps we can take to get my natural hair back on track to being healthy, and even gave suggestions for what hair treatments we can try at my next appointment. Today was very rainy and they made sure I left with my hair tucked and protected. I'm positive I've found my new hair salon, and will definitely be returning!

I love my hair so much…it’s becoming overwhelming the amount of compliments I get on it daily. Epiphany was amazing…I got a full weave with no leave out and she killed it. The layering job (because she actually shaped it and didn’t just let me walk out without framing my face) is exquisite. Christina is so sweet and chill. The shop is clean, calm and cute. Best salon/hair experience I’ve had in my 7 years of living in Durham.

I really found my hairstylist. Christina is talented and professional. She made me feel at ease, reassuring me throughout the all process. I was anxious since it was a completely new style I was trying, and also my first time with her. She did an excellent job, I couldn’t be happier. Christina is AWESOME. She has been doing my hair for almost 5yrs. I love color and she surprises me everytime she's finished. I have had so many compliments on my hair. I've been looking for a natural hair salon for awhile. I came across Lovejones during an online search, was able to book a same day appointment (on a Saturday)! I was pleasantly surprised, the salon was clean, staff welcoming, and overall experience was very good. The owner Christina performed my trim and two strand twist. She is very knowledgeable and walked through all the processes with me. I think I've found my salon

My experience at Lovejones Salon was a very great experience. I decided to get triangle part twist with added hair and it came out so good. As soon as i walked into the salon i was kindly greeted by the owner Christina and was told I had to wait for the stylist to get there. As soon as the stylist (Essence) walked in she quickly put her stuff down, put a cape and towel on me and directed me to the sink. Usually salon bowls are very uncomfortable on my neck but the bowls at this salon were very comfortable. After Essence washed my hair I waited under the dryer for a couple of minutes and then it was time to blow dry. Essence blow dried my hair for a little while until Christina wanted to try her new shiny hot pink hair dryer on me. Getting my hair blow dried was very pleasing, the detangling didn’t hurt at all and the blow dryer was not burning hot. After my hair was done, Essence got straight to pre parting my hair. Even though my hair took a long time I still enjoyed hearing all the conversations and Lauren Hill on the tv. If you’re looking for affordable loc maintenance, silk presses, braids and much more I highly recommend you get your hair done at Love Jones Stylez salon.

Very cute salon with a clean bathroom! I received a wash and retwist with a pipe cleaner style. Christina was gentle and did a beautiful job! I love my hair and I will be returning for loc maintenance.

Christina is a LIFESAVER!!! I found her today 4/9/24 last minute through a Microlocs/Sisterlocks Facebook group. I traveled to Raleigh, NC 6 weeks ago to have my Microlocs installed by another stylist. I returned to have my first re-tie done and unfortunately my original stylist could no longer see me. I had to think FAST as I fly back to New Orleans this evening. I took a shot and sent her a message. Christina got back to me within a decent amount of time. I sent her some pics of my hair and she said she could get me in within the hour!!! She moves quick and is very personable! My only gripe is that I wasn’t informed didn’t she was combining my locs as she interlocked my hair in the back. When I got to the airport I felt the back row and could tell my grid was different. Also, My hair was a bit too oily when I ran my fingers through it. Overall, my experience was pleasant and I recommend LoveJones Stylez.

I was extremely nervous about showing my hair. She made me feel so comfortable and was able to tell me what was wrong with my hair after literally 10 seconds. I came without a plan and let her do what was needed. She is a great stylist, and I’m coming back every 2 weeks until my hair gets back to being healthy. She has a beautiful space and has a soothing atmosphere. When my hair gets better… I’ll show my before and after pics.

A friend shared Christina’s website with me last year when she knew how hard I struggle with finding a suitable hairstylist. Since relocating to North Carolina, my hair has really taken a beating leaving me feeling less confident. I have been natural for over 10 years now and have had some poor hair experiences with salons. I was amazed by Christina’s list of services. She does it all. Locs, color, sew-ins, silk presses, braids etc. I carefully read over reviews and looked at client photos before scheduling my Silk Press and Trim appointment. The location is ideal for me at less than 15 minutes from home. Parking is plentiful as well. Christina knows what good customer service is. Her phone etiquette is excellent. She squeezed me in for a Thursday evening appointment at the very last minute without being hesitant about it. I appreciated this courtesy. She shampooed my hair with ease, carefully and thoroughly finger detangling. Many stylists have wrestled with my curls in the past making for an unpleasant experience wasting hours of my time. Christina worked effortlessly to style my hair. She did not overuse products on my hair to weigh it down. I enjoyed the results after a deep reconstructive conditioner. She pin curled my hair and I was on my way. A day later my hair smelled pleasant and not like a barbecue grill from heat styling. Christina and I easily clicked as native New Yorkers. I really loved the laid back, family vibe at her salon. Her clients were welcoming and made the experience worthwhile. I look forward to trying new services with her and moving forward in the right direction of my hair journey.

All I can say is that my sister and I's experience connecting with Christina was divine and ordained. My sister and I landed in Raleigh to attend the wedding of one of our church's long-time friends. My sister's Locs stylist in Washington State was sick and couldn’t do her hair. I told her to let me look for someone on Yelp. I scrolled through a few Stylists but came across a raving review of Christina’s work and told my sister let’s follow up with her; I called and booked the appointment. New to the area, we found the shop reasonably quickly; Christina greeted us with a big, beautiful, warm smile. Her shop is gorgeous and spacious; her spirit felt like home to us. She massaged all the stress knots out of my sister's scalp. While doing my sister's hair, we talked about being New Yorkers, family, and community and how she came to North Carolina to share her gift as a Stylist. We expected the locs maintenance to take hours, and to our surprise, it took less than an hour. The result was - Fabulous and Neat!!! Friends from the wedding were shocked to see how my sister was able to find someone as talented as Christina! Please stop by her salon. She does it all, from natural hair to relaxers and colors, and she educates on hair care.

Christina did a an amazing job with my daughter's hair. Her locs looked so healthy and strong when she was done and that was after doing a few minor repairs from damage caused by different stylist. Christina was very kind and professional with my very shy neuro divergent young adult. My daughter was happy to come back for her second appointment and she usually hates getting her hair. Point is, I’ve been asking God to send me someone with hands to love, nurture and grow my hair and he sent me back to her unknowingly.
