It was such a pleasure meeting Cee for our consultation! The cool vibes and chill energy of the salon was the first thing I felt walking in (stylists and clients alike) which is a big deal imo. Cee was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and warm. I’m so excited to return and get my locs some TLC, as I know now I’ll be in safe hands!

I brought my granddaughter to get starter locs. The salon is very nice! The ambience is peaceful, welcoming & clean! The owner Ce greeted us & they all were very friendly & professional! Ce took time with my granddaughter made her feel comfortable & cared for! Her appt. was @ 12 noon & by 3:00 my granddaughter's starter loc journey had begun!!! I highly recommend lovepeace+locs!! Ce is a professional,caring & knowledgeable owner, as is her staff! It was our pleasure to be there! Oh & the music & conversation was great too! Thank you for your care! Also Nola the therapy dog is so loveable! See you next time!! 🥰🧡

It was a great experience for me. Marky was very professional and at the same time made me feel at home. To say she’s skillful and knows her ways around locs will be an understatement. It took her only few seconds to get familiar with my hair and locs. Marky handled my locs very gently that I hardly felt the pulling. The end result? Beautiful locs, no pain. I absolutely love my stater locs. The salon is clean, and aesthetically pleasing. From the greeting at the front door to the complimentary beverages and snacks it is a great place to begin my loc journey. The vibe was vibing. Additionally, all the loctian’s clients looked amazing when done… shout out to Cee, my loctian! My locs are beautiful, exceeded my expectations. ** the pics are not of my starter locs. I think this is my 5th month. *** the last picture in the set was done 1/2025, my latest retwist and barrel style. This was done by Marky. She is a gem! I love how she handled, and styled my hair. Thank you!

I always enjoy my experience at Love+Peace & Locs! I have salt & pepper, medium sized, almost mid-back length locs. My loctician, A'Diamond is amazingly consistent. She completes a beautiful wash and retwist in under 2 hours.

I started my loc journey here during Pride this summer and the staff is lovely and charming when I am there! Booking online is easy and if you want to adjust, the stylist can suggest and possibly accommodate in the schedule. Close to transportation and shopping if you have time to explore before or after your appointment.

I'm so happy to have found this place to begin my loc journey. Cee and everyone else at the salon was amazing, and welcoming. Cee engaged me in good conversation and made me feel calm and fully ready to start this journey. After a tiresome search for a locksmith I definitely picked the right place. The sizing is perfect, I can't wait to see how it'll look in a few months.

Took my daughter here to have her Locs retwisted. When I came home her Locs were literally falling out of her hair and her scalp was red and raw for days as if someone scrubbed her scalp too hard. I contacted them and was basically mad to feel like the staff did nothing wrong. Due to this issue my daughter had to cut her Locs out and was devastated now we are starting over. I will never recommend going to this place. Not after the effect the staff had on my child. Her self was was affected and she was genuinely hurt. Never again. I would give zero if I could. Edit: just to clarify I have been to your establishment my daughter’s name is Elizabeth and this is in my married name my name is Samantha S. I do have receipts for proof of transaction and I have contacted your establishment this was a few months ago. If you would like for me to post them then I will. Just so there is no confusion. With all due respect as long as your post is I still see no accountability for your actions with my daughter hopefully you remember her face as you did do her hair as well as my own. I went for loc extensions (first timer). I had a great experience and couldn’t wait to share. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, instantly putting me at ease. I was offered light refreshments which made me feel like a valued guest. Service started on time (actually a few minutes before the scheduled time) and ended earlier than expected (a nice bonus). A special shout-out goes to my stylist, A'Diamond. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and made thoughtful suggestions to enhance the look. Throughout the appointment, A'Diamond’s energy and passion for her craft shone throughout. The overall vibe of the salon is fantastic. I enjoyed some great conversation and great music. I highly recommend L.P&L to anyone in search of experienced professionals who provide top-notch customer service and a friendly atmosphere. Thank you Cee and A'Diamond for such a wonderful experience! Glad to be a member of the L.P&L family!

this was my first time at Love+Peace and the experience was great! my stylist Marky was extremely professional and a great conversationalist, as well as very quick and gentle with my retwist. the studio was very clean and looked amazing as well. i was nervous going to a new loc studio but i'll definitely be coming back for my future retwists

Tainna was welcoming, diligent with her work, and had a great sense of humor. This was my first appointment with Tainna, and my first retwist. I didn't know what to expect, but I'm glad I booked the service with her. She is very talented, and I highly recommend her to anyone.
