Sophia really did that with my hair. I haven’t had a hair cut in over 5 years. She chopped me up so so good. I went home and put my bangs in some heatless curlers, had me looking like Sabrina carpenter. She was so sweet, did a great job from start to finish. Will definitely be back to see her. Great vibes inside the salon. Only thing is the parking is atrocious because it’s in downtown. Spent $10 on parking alone.

Best haircut of my life!!! Ava is absolutely magical!!! It had been over a year since I last cut my hair so I came in just needing a cut to keep my hair healthy and otherwise out my full trust into Ava and she DELIVERED!!! She knew immediately what she wanted to do with my hair (a Sabrina carpenter dream) and I have been admiring her work since I walked out a few hours ago!! And it definitely helps when every single person working is friendly helpful and obviously talented! Ava has definitely made a client out of me for as long as she is there!!!

Brynn is the best. Very chill atmosphere. I'll be going there every couple weeks to get a trim to keep my beard looking great.

I cannot recommend Lox enough. The space is absolutely gorgeous and they really make you feel taken care of with great attitudes and an assortment of refreshments available. Ava has been phenomenal with my hair and is an absolute joy.

Ava was so nice and personable, she gave me great advice about hair products. I showed her reference pictures and she talked me through the style I was going for. I have long, thick hair and she gave me layers and face framing. It feels much lighter and I love the cut!

I cannot recommend Ava enough. She took the time to listen to my concerns. She worked so hard to correct color errors by a previous stylist. There is a science to hair color and she understands it so well!

I love my haircut!! Desiree took the time to show me how to use the hair product and did a fabulous job of blending in all the choppy areas in my hair. This morning I followed her instructions on styling and even after a very busy morning, I looked at my hair and even messy it looks great!!! Thank you, Desiree!!

I love the atmosphere of this salon, and enjoyed a complimentary beverage during my service. Ava touched up my color and gave me the haircut I’ve been wanting for a while. Bangs and layers that finally gave much needed life and volume to my hair. Can’t wait to return!

Well... It's a nice place, I was only there to get what basically amounts to a trim. Before going there I showered and washed my hair, my hair was still wet by the time I sat down on the stylists chair. I specifically told the girl, that I had freaked out with anxiety and cut my long hair about a month ago and I just needed her to straighten the length out and possibly but some layers in it. She said she could do that and it honestly didn't look that bad. But she proceeded to run her fingers through my hair as stylist do, she put the cape on and said "let's go get you shampooed" I said "I literally just washed my hair" like I know you can smell my shampoo and my hair was still wet as well as it didn't look or feel dirty. So... She cuts my hair and it looked fine, I was happy with it.but then she said "hold on let me go get some products" and I kinda just sat there like is that normal? Well she didn't really ask she just did it. She put salt spray and some type of moose type stuff in my hair. Then she proceeded to style my hair. After all "styling" my hair basically looked dry and straight. She didn't even ask if I wanted to have it styled. As someone who doesn't use a lot of hair product in my hair in general or actually style my hair I did not appreciate either of those things happening. I do want to say that everybody there was nice and courteous. But I would have liked to have been asked if I wanted hair products in my hair or my hair styled. I would have said no to both of those things. So after she finished I go to pay, and what I expected to be about a $45 bill was now all of a sudden $52. And then she asked me "do you want to go ahead and make another appointment?" And I said no not at this time I'll make one next time I want to come in. Knowing full well that because she hadn't asked whether or not I wanted hair products in my hair or my hair styled,that I was not coming back here. So at the end of it I ended up giving her a $15 tip for a hairstyle and hair products that I didn't even want. And like I said everybody was nice and it's a nice place but I did not appreciate not being asked about those things and I will not be back to that salon because of that. I had to rewash my hair as I had to go to sleep when I got home and then woke up to go to work that night. Now my hair has been funky for the last 48 hrs. Ugh. 😭

***Melanie is now the owner of Atomic Blonde Salon at Sola in Bearden so I'll be visiting her there! *** I had the absolute pleasure of an appointment with Melanie yesterday. Melanie is an experienced professional; she listens and follows directions well. I trusted her to apply a keratin treatment and cut my hair (including getting fringe for the first time in three years- eek!) and I love it all. She is creative and you can tell she takes her work very seriously but you will have a blast with her.

I went for a keratin treatment with Brynn. I couldn’t be happier with the result. I love that they use vegan- no harsh chemicals in all their products. Brynn was amazing, she is very knowledgeable and accommodating. The building where they’re located is gorgeous and the service is really good with snacks and beverages for their clients. I will definitely come back!

Pippa at Lox is the absolute best. They are so talented, and very communicative throughout your entire haircut and color. I have had the most positive salon experiences of my life with them! They always do a great job interpreting my ideas, and often improve on them to create something even better than what I had imagined for my hair. I highly recommend them for anyone, but especially for those looking to get unique cuts and colors.

So grateful to have discovered this salon! it has been years since i’ve really paid much attention to my hair, just kept it up in a bun all the time. was definitely ready for a big change and all the positive reviews drew me towards Lox. I went in with pictures (showing both what i wanted along with pictures of similar cuts that i definitely did not want, for contrast), and did my best to explain. they were able to work it out with ease. I absolutely love my cut and genuinely feel like myself again. Will certainly be back for maintenance. Service, experience and atmosphere are all 11/10, highly recommend.

Ava is great! She cuts and colors my hair. She offers suggestions but also listens to what I want. She does a great job. She’s super sweet, too. I won’t trust anyone but Ava with my hair!

I came to Dom with boring flat damaged hair and she literally turned me into liv tyler lol. She is very sweet and educates you to better understand what to do with our hair. I had a great time with her and have never been more in love with my hair until now. Will definitely be seeing her again soon.❤️

I had been seeing Ava with Lox for a couple years, and I'm so, so glad she's back! She always knows exactly what my hair needs and is so good at coming up with ideas when I'm not sure what I want. She's gentle and always leaves my hair feeling a hundred times better than when I came in. She's magic!

I had my eyelashes done consistently for five years. Coming from another state, I searched high and low for another place that does just as good of a job as I’ve had done in the past. I finally found Lan at Lox salon!!! She is very precise and does exactly what you ask for!!! I cannot recommend her enough!
