Ann Marie is amazing! I have a very difficult head of hair to cut and she nailed it! The salon is cute with a great atmosphere in a nice area, definitely my go to from now on.

Brian is the best! This is a cute, well lit, airy salon. Parking can be tricky during weekdays so give yourself some time for finding parking. The café next door is also great.

I got a cut from Raquel a couple of weeks ago, and it’s managed to look wonderful even with my minimal hair regime. Honestly, I’m amazed. I love having my hair short but it usually misbehaves terribly. Raquel did some hair magic and now it’s both short and sits nicely without my even trying! Weeks later and I still catch myself admiring the effect!

Lucas salon is a gem. Every stylist I’ve gone to here has been a kind person and given me exactly what I asked for. Today, I saw Ann Marie and she’s an absolute master at her craft. She transformed my grown out partial highlight into the hair I had as a child during the summer. She perfectly blended a balayage and toned it just right. It’s above and beyond my expectations. She took the time and care to make it just right. Thank you, Ann Marie! Also, Lucas salon has an ambiance that I appreciate. It’s cool, just like Frogtown.

Professional and friendly, my stylist Brian always does an excellent job cutting my medium long hair. The Lucas Salon space in Frogtown is clean, comfortable and stylish and located one block from the LA River walkway and La Colombe coffee shop for a nice pre- or post-salon stroll. Street cleaning on Thursday’s until 2:00 makes nearby parking very difficult if you have an appointment before then!

When was my last haircut? Color? Spa-treatment? I don't recall. But Lisa's Shangri-la of creativity and beauty was once in Echo Park on Echo Park and now stands like a mid century lily pond in Frogtown by the bike path. Brian Haag was my designated Master Mind and I left restored and ready to face the world and Zoom, one frame at a time. Thank YOU, dear dear Brian & Lisa.
