I've been seeing Selena for hair coloring services for years and the experience has only gotten better since she and Elyse opened Luce. It's a cute salon is clean and thoughtfully styled. The ladies are so welcoming and always do exceptional work, whether it's coloring or extensions. They offer high quality products and work with you to understand and help you achieve your hair goals - mine being blonde coloring, long length, and more volume, for example. I highly recommend the salon, Selena, and Elyse!

I love Luce salon! Hannah Yoo is very kind and very talented. She did my highlights and impressed me with how natural looking they turned out. I’m so happy with the results !!! She was really fun to talk to and made me feel comfortable. Luce salon was cute and clean and there was free parking.

Elyse is the best in town. She specializes in blondes and will not steer you wrong!!!! She’s the most kind and hardworking hairdresser out there. She’s worked at the best salons in town and has now opened her own!!! Thankfully she took over Luce and has blessed SB with the perfect place for all your hair needs.

I have been friends and a client of Elyse for over a decade now. She is truly a magical hair colorist/ stylist . The new salon is a huge opportunity for her to continue to grow and show how talented she is and always has been. The new space is in an incredible location and filled with other talented stylists. Elyse is the best person in the area for being a colorist and she is always up to date on the most recent trends. I would travel 300 miles to be able to see her. She is one of the most hardworking women I know and always pushes . I wish nothing but the best and recommend everyone at Luce Salon!! All the best, Jamie M.

Luce salon recently changed ownership and ITS AMAZING!!! Night and day from the last owner! Luce is now an all female team that has experience doing all of the latest hair things in Santa Barbara. Each one of the 4 gals are individually so talented. The mesa is SO lucky to have such a great place!!!

Luce Salon is under new ownership and I had a fantastic visit there. I followed Selena to her new salon - she does the best blonde! And love that is it’s a woman owned shop in a chic spot on the Mesa. Highly recommend you check it out!

This is a very cute salon in the Mesa under new ownership. My haircut with Elyse looks so great I already made another appointment. Parking is super easy. Highly recommend this salon

Recently, I called to Luce to try and schedule an appointment for my step-daughter with my regular hair stylist and was rudely told “she was no longer there”. When I requested my stylists information or phone number the woman on the phone refused to provide it to me. Instead the lady tried to get me to schedule with her which of course I declined. Thank goodness, when I checked my emails later that day I received the announcement from my stylist with all the information for her new salon (which Luce had the whole time but refused to give). I love supporting local businesses especially ones that are run by women. It is such a disappointment to encounter someone using deceptive practices such as these to try and increase their profit margins rather than being clear and transparent for the customers sake.

I have a great stylist at this salon. The space itself is lovely and there's a small patio in the back to enjoy. Highly recommend!

They do hair very well. Can be hard to make an appointment because they get busy.
