I followed Louie to his new space at Lucky 13 and I am so happy I did. The salon is comfortable and welcoming, but Louie is the cherry on top! He starts every hair cut with a consultation: what’s going well? what are we changing? Every step of the way he makes sure that you are comfortable with the plan. I always leave my time with Louie with a smile and a killer cut. Don’t hesitate to get on his books now!

Louie is absolutely incredible! He is so talented and able to see the vision + follow through with what my hair needs. I’ve been a fan for several years and he is so friendly always. highly recommend, I see him for a short gender affirming haircut and he is very lgbt friendly! check him out!

Tara absolutely performed nothing short of miracle work on some fine, oil prone, textured hair that now looks and behaves like it should with ease. She even created an amazing look that thrives on low maintenance & minimal upkeep definitely going to return as a regular here! Thank you!!

I see Louie at Lucky 13 and I couldn't recommend him and the salon more! The salon was clean and inviting. I typically park right on High Street but there is always a spot close to the salon. Lastly, Louie is the greatest! I had a pixie cut for years and he took his time to make sure my hair was perfect. I now have long hair and he made me love my hair each step of the growing process. Plus he's cool as heck. So, if you are looking for a cool salon that is filled with cool people Lucky 13 is the place for you!

Love this spot. I go to see Louie here now, but he has been doing my hair for 10 years. He’s fantastic at what he does and is always able to take my concepts and turn them into reality. Recently, I brought my mother who had mobility issues in to see him. The experience was great, getting her in and out of the shop and into the chairs was just fine. He had never cut her hair before but she showed him a couple of photos and he nailed it.

Louie always does a phenomenal job, and I appreciate that every time he takes the time to ask what I loved/disliked about the last cut and what I’m wanting this time. The space is comforting & has a relaxed feel to it, and all the other stylists were friendly!

this place is so cool, for both clients and employees, because it really allows for an intimate setting that stylists can individualize for their customers. i followed my stylist Louie here from his previous location and i do not regret this decision AT ALL! i cannot wait to see what amazing styles Louie creates on me, and how fun it will be to watch him make his space as unique as his styles.

If you enjoy paying top dollar for the worst haircuts of your life, which result in having to have 6 inches cut off bc two of their stylists can't seem to cut hair remotely evenly, this is the place for you. Oh, and don't expect management or ownership to care. I left a message with Alisha at the front desk for Kathleen, the owner, to please call me since Nesey hacked my hair and then Tara's redo of Nesey's cut was still very uneven. Kathleen chose not to return my phone call. Instead she wrote an inaccurate reply on my Yelp review that shirked all responsibility. If it were my business, I'd be interested in talking to a client that paid full price for her redo ($55), which was still uneven. I'd want to know about a brand new client who got TWO UNEVEN HAIRCUTS IN A ROW 24 HOURS APART FROM TWO SEPARATE STYLISTS. But no one at Lucky 13 is interested in accountability, no one cares about quality of work. They got my money, which is apparently all that matters. Consumers beware!

Maybe they’re good if you have straight hair? They don’t know how to cut curly hair at all. Went there a while ago because of the good reviews and it was a top 3 worst haircut of my life. I asked for a dry cut with layers and the stylist sprayed my hair down and didn’t even try to layer it. I would personally never suggest anyone with curls go there.

I just moved to Columbus and have had the same person cutting my hair for 7+ years. It’s always stressful to try someone new. Sarah did an amazing job (and I’m super picky and OCD)! I would say even an improvement from my norm, which I’ve always loved. Great, chill atmosphere. I love all of the houseplants. Everyone else there was friendly as well. I’m a super happy customer

Lucky 13 is the best. The stylists are masters of their craft without being pretentious. I’ve gone to some of the other “alternative” style salons in the area and I cannot say the same. They truly take the time and care to make sure you to leave with a “do” you love. The stylists are talented, kind, and really make you feel comfortable and welcome. After hopping around a bit, I can now say that I’m loyal to Lucky 13. There’s a reason they’ve been voted the best in Columbus.

Had a haircut with Teake and it was amazing!!! I'm a terrible haircut decision maker and she completely helped me narrow my decisions about what to do, and took time to show me how to style it too! So happy with my new cut, I'll be back for more! Parking on the street was easy for an early morning appointment. They have snacks too!

I discovered this salon sort of by chance. I live in Dayton so 1hr away; However I made a day trip to get my hair done and go antiquing. I read such good reviews. I was not disappointed. Jess was the stylist I had booked with and they were so nice patient. I am really shy & I was nervous letting someone new cut my hair. Jess did a fantastic job. My hair now feels more like me. I'll definitely be back again next time I'm in the area! They also gave me great advice for my curly hair and I feel like the cut compliments my hair texture really well. They listen to what you want and really work with you which is great. Highly recommend this salon! It also has a cute vibe and was a relaxing environment overall great experience!

I loooove this place. Such a cool, laid back vibe. I don’t like hair salons that are too…idk…girly?? But this place is awesome. Very good for the 🌈 people. Affirming haircuts available, which I think is sweet. And every time I’m here I feel like my hair is celebrated. And that the stylists work *with* my hair instead of against it. Can’t say enough good things. I especially liked the touch where when I started going I filled out a form to indicate what my preferred amount of talking is during a haircut. E.g.: if I’d want to talk a lot or a bit or only about the haircut. An autistic person’s dream 🥲

I see Sarah Hatfield at Lucky 13 and I would give her six stars if Google would let me! Sarah has been cutting and coloring my hair for six years and she is truly the best. Not only is she incredibly skilled at what she does but she also listens to her clients and is able to balance her professional knowledge with her client’s vision to create the perfect end product. Sarah has taken me through several different styles and colors over the years and she knocks it out of the park every time. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a great hairstylist!

Kassandra is the best! I've seeing her for a few years and I've been going to Lucky 13 for over 10 years! This place is super inclusive and the folks here do phenomenal work on hair. Their coloring services are great. Their prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality you get is so worth it.

Very friendly staff and great service! Street parking wasn't too hard to find. Staff make their own hours so you can most certainly find a flexible time to come in. Cute space as well.
