I’m African American and they took me last minute. I was a walk in and they were so kind. The person who was there at the time didn’t speak English but we used the translator and it worked out so well. She washed my hair until it felt clean and she took care of my hair. I will use there services again.

I've been coming to Juana for the past several years and she's always done a great job on my long, thick hair with cut, color and blow out. I get many compliments and women will ask me to refer them. Both my mom and daughter go to her for their cuts. Her prices are quite fair compared to other salons. If I were to go to a high-end salon for the same services I'd easily be charged double or more. When I come to Juana I always bring a pic of whatever I want, and I like that she's honest about what she can and cannot do or will not do. My daughter was getting her hair bleached from another stylist that eventually burned her hair because it wasn't properly conditioned. She wanted Juana to color it all dark but was told to let it grow out first and to use plenty of conditioner, otherwise it would just get worse. My daughter listened to her instructions then came back months later and Juana gave her a really cute haircut, and her hair looked very healthy. I appreciate that Juana is also accommodating, even during Covid-19, as long as you wear a mask and sanitize. Everyone has their own opinion and preference. I'm extremely picky when it comes to my hair. This year I moved from the city to the suburbs and I'll continue coming to Juana while her business is still operating.
