Lucy is just lovely! I wanted some layers and a small trim, and I think she gave me one of the best haircuts I‘ve ever received. I also had a really fun time, the atmosphere and conversations with other guests were wonderful. Overall very warm and welcoming.

Lucy is Excellent! My cousin, his wife and children all go to her. He highly recommended her when my old salon closed. I feel so lucky. It is nit easy to find a hair stylist who so consistently does such a Great job.

Love them! I was nervous about going to a new salon in the city, but they were reasonably priced and so helpful. She took the time to talk with me and make sure my hair would look like I wanted as was super patient in suggesting her own ideas without changing my ideas too much. It looks good two months later. (I have short hair which grew out so well).

Lucy, gave me the best cut I think I've ever had. I've not had a hair cut since beginning of the pandemic, and I looked like a caveman, with hair uneven, brittle ends, and I'd shaved part of my head. She cut it, sculpted it, and made me look like a clean cut rock star. Super impressed with her artistic vision, and 100% recommend.

I trust Lucy completely! She has a great eye and knows what will look good even when I'm unsure. Her cuts always grow in really well and still look good 6, 8 months later. I will keep going back to Lucy and I recommend her to my friends. Plus, Lucy's the only stylist in the shop so it's not crowded.

Lucy is a miracle worker! My hair looks better and better with each passing week. As a matter fact I get compliments just before I need my haircut! And Lucy is the sweetest person. Once you let her cut your hair no one else ever will!

Don't walk...RUN to Lucy's!! I made an appointment and they took me an hour later for a color, cut and blow dry. I was so happy with the results that I am going back again and I live over an hour away! My stylist was Hala, highly recommended.

UPDATE: Today, I got another great hairstyle at Lucy's Hair Studio. Initially, I wasn't sure about the style that I chose, since it was more edgy than I'm used to. But, when I got home, I noticed just how skillfully Lucy tailored the cut to flatter my face shape and now I'm just loving my new look! I look fresh and up to date. If you want your hair done by someone who knows her craft, you should definitely book your next hair appointment with Lucy, pronto. She really knows her stuff. 11-14-18. There is a reason why this is my third time back to Lucy's Hair Studio, Lucy's talent. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair to look and she duplicated the look perfectly. Her assistant, Tati, is attentive, welcoming, friendly, and she really knows how to give a great shampoo. They work so well together that the studio functions like a well oiled machine. I always feel well taken care of and listened to when I'm there. I highly recommend this place to both women and men.

Excellent! I have very curly hair, difficult for many, many hairdressers to deal with. Lucy gives me the best haircuts I have ever, EVER had. For blowouts, she asks, "Straight, wavy, or curly?" and she gives me exactly what I ask for. And I get compliments! Lucy's the best!

I have gone to the highest end hair salons in nyc for 30 yrs. never in my life have I found anyone that does hair like lucy. She's not only fantastic but she's creative, professional and the sweetest person. The best in nyc.

I went there because it's steps from my apt and now I stay for the outstanding quality of work. I always went to fancy salons for $250 haircuts but I am so happy in this cozy little neighborhood salon... I will never stray again. Lucy is an exceptional stylist and colorist not to mention a lovely person. I have the best hair I have had in years. So goodbye Madison Ave and Soho salons that are full of giant egos and a million assistants to tip- I am sticking with Lucy!!!

I've been going to Lucy for about a year, and I am delighted with her. She gave me a graduated bob with blunt bangs, and I've received more compliments since Lucy's been cutting my hair than ever before in my life. At the risk of being self-congratulatory, my hair looks great. Lucy is lovely; she makes you feel right at home in her studio, and her staff is also warm and welcoming. I've referred a number of friends b/c they've asked me where I go - she is that good. Go - I promise you won't be sorry.

Wonderful experience at Lucy's! This is the first time where a hair stylist actually listened to me and what I wanted, and did not impose their own ideas. Lucy (the owner) worked together with me to get the exact cut and look I was hoping for. Will definitely be back in the future. Five stars!
