I had the worst experience with Kate in my 20 years of going to salons all over the country. Her customer service is terrible and it shines through with her poor, rude attitude. She has no empathy or compassion, and is straight cold when dealing with customers. Charged me for a service she never did bc I mixed up my appointments and then refused to rebook me after. Why would she not rebook me when we got paid for an entire extension service she never did? If anything you’d think she’d be happy to rebook.. she just got paid almost 300 for nothing . I’m a single mom that made an honest mistake and she took advantage of that and wasn’t helpful understanding or kind. Things happen and life happens. I apologized probably 15 times endlessly to her explaining myself .. over explaining myself tbh. She didn’t care to listen, hear or try and solve the problem. She already had my money and she didn’t care !!! . She was completely rude and cold. She must really need the 260 for her wedding or rent bc she was quick to take my money and write me off. BAD BUSINESS . Not the way to treat people. RUN! GO TO ANYONE BUT KATE. Her attitude and behavior are terrible. I’m a great client, excellent tipper and a kind soul. I wish Kate had some compassion and was able to see that.

If I could give no stars I would. I’ve been going to salons for 15 plus years and I’ve never had an experience like this. My friend went to book with colored.by.kate worse customer service, worse compassion. Basically robbed my friend charging her for a full service for an honest mistake and wouldn’t rebook her. I have never heard of such a thing and it’s completely unprofessional to no rebook her after a mistake. Why wouldn’t she rebook her when she got paid for a full service without doing the work. I have a bad taste in my mouth for this and I don’t understand what type of person would do this to someone. I hope in the future she doesn’t do this to someone else but I 100% believer she will again and again. Will never use her again and would never recommend her to my worse enemy. Karma will come around.

I’ve been with Michelle at Luma Salon for over two years, and she is absolutely wonderful! Her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring I always leave looking my best is unmatched. The salon itself is beautiful and always spotless, creating such a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend both Michelle and Luma Salon for anyone looking for a top-notch experience!

I'll be honest, I haven't actually been to Luma (yet!) but I'm following my stylist Kayleigh there, and I want to go ahead and shout her out! She is amazing. She has taken me from black box dye through blue, pink, purple, green, and now pink/green split! I don't know how she does it, but she's truly so good at what she does. She does an in depth, honest consult with you so you're not surprised by the end of the appointment which is so considerate. And I've never been disappointed with my cut/color! I highly recommend Kayleigh. She is so cool, professional, and can make hair dreams come true!!

I followed Michelle here from her previous salon, that’s how good she is! ☺️ as someone who is indecisive with hair color, she’s patient into helping me choose something that would look great on me and something I would like. She’s experienced in all she does and I trust her with my hair ☺️. Highly recommend! ❤️
