Brazilian Blow out review. Pro: They did a great job on my hair Cons: The weirdest, most embarassing and terrible experience. They use Groupon to attract customers, that's how I found them in June 2024. Prior to buying Groupon, in June, I called the salon and Rose the stylist, said not to buy Groupon but would charge me the special price. The day before my appointment in June, she called to reschedule me, the day before the appointment, because her daughter was graduating, I found it unprofessional that she waited the day before to reschedule, but maybe she was over-whelmed. After rescheduling, Rose also called me the day of my appointment to see if I could get there earlier. I did but I found the disorganization strange, especially for a new customer experience, but I went to the appointment and although she doesn’t come off very friendly, she did a great job on my hair. The experience didn't leave me wanting to go there again. Until their latest Groupon Special. 5 months later, October 2024, I see the salon has a special price on Groupon, I remembered it wasn't a great experience the first time but the special price looked great. I read the details carefully, making sure there are no hidden costs that could pop up or if its only for new customers, it was good, so I buy it and call for an appointment and let them know I have a Groupon. I make an appointment and Rose and another stylist took turns blowing out my hair, my hair looked great and I'm ready to leave. This is where it gets weird, I went to the cash register to provide a tip and reminded Rose I had a Groupon and she informed me because I had been there before, they couldn't take it and explained that Groupin takes 60% of the money so they don't make any money on it and that it's only for 1st time customers, plus, my hair was thick and long so they needed to charge me more. I was shocked and was confused but I kept my cool andI showed her the text I sent her that I had a Groupon and why she didn't tell me then. She said she didn't see the text. I also showed her and the other stylist that came over to say I couldn't use the Groupon, the screen shot of their Groupon ad, that didn't say anything about any extra charges or that it was only for first time customers, as a matter of fact, Groupon said I could buy 3 special priced Groupons for a Brazilian blow out. Rose and the other stylist told me that it was Groupons fault because they changed the wording on their ad and I should pay the full amount of a regular priced Brazilian blow out, because they dont make money on Groupon customers, but need Groupon to get customers, they were making me feel like I was in the wrong and like I was trying to rip them off. I was trying to tell them that I had paid for a Groupon Special that they authorized, plus, I let them know ahead of time. After a lengthy discussion, they wanted me to pay $80 more but I told them that was too much and still not fair, but that I would, and that I would call Groupon. Then they said, forget it, you don't have to pay anything more, so I left $60 for a tip because they did do a good job on my hair BUT It was the weirdest and worst experience, I've ever had at a salon. I'm super disappointed that the whole thing was handled so poorly. I paid $121 to Groupon for the special Brazilian blow out & left $60 for a tip.

The atmosphere is welcoming, and Rose is so friendly and professional. My hair has never looked better, and I always leave feeling refreshed and confident. Highly recommend Rose to anyone looking for a skilled and caring hairdresser!

I had a great experience at Lumiere salon! it is very clean , spacious and very well equipped and managed. Maryam and Anna are very sweet and professional in what they do and the outcome is amazing! I was struggling for so long with so many other salons to do my hair color as I wished , but with Maryam I got it so beautiful 🌺

I love this salon... Miriam and Anna are very professional at what they do... Anna cut my husband's hair and she's very meticulous.. Miriam cut and colors my hair... she always listens is very talented and very attentive.. she is so pleasant to be around all the time... I received so many compliments on my hair color I'm so glad I found this place!! I would find it very hard to go anyplace else

Came here after another salon butchered my hair. They were very accommodating getting me in the next day and were able to blend the mess created by the other salon. I will be coming back. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Very welcoming place.
