I was visiting Austin and needed a haircut. Lupita’s salon is in a trailer in a parking lot with a very popular taqueria! My stylist took her time — cut my hair first and then washed and blew it dry. She made me look 10 years younger. My daughter and my husband LOVED it! I don’t speak Spanish but her English was good enough to understand exactly what I was looking for. Cash only!

This shop is a treasure. She is amazing and friendly. Cut my hair with such great care. It is very underrated, but undoubtedly one of best salons in downtown Austin. A must try!

I was beginning to get impatient because I couldn't find anyone to do my hair in such short notice and if I did they were asking way too much then I came across lupita's hair salon in East Austin was after 5pm so I said I'll give it a shot and she said yes come on in I can do your hair.. she made my day and she did a wonderful job I was very satisfied I highly recommend her I think I found my hair stylist in East Austin ♥️

I have been looking for a new salon since I moved to Austin and saw the great reviews so I took a chance and called to setup an appointment, Lupita was so nice and welcoming and took several precautions to keep us both safe during COVID by wearing a mask providing hand sanitizer and wiping down surfaces. She also did a great job styling my hair and took the time to talk with me to make sure I got exactly what I wanted! I will definitely be coming back soon for my next cut or coloring!

I went and it was closed . I called the main lady and she still went out her way on her day off and did my hair for a great price and did a lovely job . Her and the other lady where so sweet and both did my hair . They made my day. I highly recommend this place.

Great experience, can't beat the price. I'm a man wuth slightly longer hair. She cut it, washed it and even curled it all for $20!! I'm very stoked, it looks awesome. If you need a solid hair cut for cheap and you don't mind not having the "luxury" vibe of all the other hair cut places around, go here! Definitely recommend. PS Speaking Spanish definitely helps, wirst case use Google translate
