Extremely disappointed!!!! My friend detailed in the appointment comments that she’s tender headed and was refused service upon entry. This was absolutely NOT a good look or reflection on your business. FYI book consultations instead of being money hungry for a deposit if you’re afraid of doing thick natural Hair. Now she’s SOL on an appointment and gas money. It was an hour drive ONE WAY to the salon.

I booked an appointment 3 weeks prior with Shynethia Canty at Luv Your Hair Studios. I put in the comment section when I booked that I am tender headed. When I arrived she immediately stopped doing her client and mentioned me being tender headed and asked when was my last trim. She told me she can’t do my hair because I’m tender headed. She was notified that I’m tender headed 3 weeks prior when I booked as I put it in the comment section of the booking. Something should have been said at that time before she took the deposit. She could have called prior to and said she couldn’t do my hair. I drove an hour to get there and was actually excited as this was my first time. I left completely disappointed and shocked. I am patient waiting for my refund.

The stylist is very professional and kind. For the most part there aren’t any issues. There are instances where she works on 2 people at the same time, which may cause a minor delay in services. My past visit was good for the most part, except my appt was rescheduled to an earlier time shortly after I booked my appt (without consent from me), she was working on another client upon my arrival, and she wasn’t able to complete the standard 3 shampoos (only was able to do 2 shampoos) because she advised she did not have time to do so. Otherwise, it was a pleasurable experience and I will continue coming back because she truly cares about the integrity of her clients hair. She also gives tips on how to care for your hair at home in between appts, which is very helpful.

I have been be going to Shynethia for a couple years for my hair treatments and I could definitely tell a difference in my hair’s health. My hair is the healthiest that it’s ever been and I have less shedding, more length retention, as well as more growth ! You could tell she’s passionate about healthy hair as she’s very knowledgeable and will assist you with meeting your hearing goals . I highly recommend !

I have been looking for a natural black Hair Salon in Atlanta for a long time. And I read all of the reviews and had to give this place a try. I was not disappointed and I will be back for further hair treatments. Shynethia knows her stuff and gave me the most comprehensive hair consultation I've ever received in my life and now that I am more knowledgeable about taking care of my hair. I can do things on my own in between treatments! I love the way my hair feels - it is so soft and bouncy! And i'm getting compliments everywhere I go! I feel so awesome! I was in Atlanta and looking for natural black hair treatment for my wife. After reading all the reviews I decided to go at this hair studio. My wife loves her hair treatment that she received at Luv Your Hair Studio! After she had her hair shampooed she decided to go with the silk press service and will we will be returning for her continued hair maintenance needs. It feels nice to have a honest Salon where you can get a personal touch. Highly recommended!

This is the BEST natural hair specialist that I have EVER been too. I no longer seek services from anyone else but her. Not only do I have the TIGHTEST curl pattern, and a scalp condition, she somehow manages to cater to all my specific hair needs and concerns. She has grown my hair out completely and helped me learn what to do outside of the salon to maintain my length. My silk presses are always so flawless, my curls always come back and my scalp feels so good when I leave her chair. Best natural hair care!
