Have been seeing Kara for ages and she does not miss!! Truly obsessed with my hair. She keeps my blonde hair healthy and has been a god send for my postpartum regrowth. Cannot recommend her enough!

I love Lux! I found them on Instagram after searching the Raleigh area for a stylist that listens to what you want and does an amazing job! I have gone to Chelsea Jarvis two times now and cannot recommend her enough!! I love my hair every time I leave the salon! They are all so kind and accommodating, not to mention the salon is beautiful! 5 stars all the way!!

Tanya is hands down the best hairstylist in town! I recently got highlights done with her, and I’ve been flooded with compliments ever since, everyone keeps asking who did my hair! She’s truly a master of her craft. From start to finish, Tanya was professional, attentive, and made me feel so comfortable. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and absolutely nailed it. The color is stunning, and the whole experience was fantastic. If you’re looking for someone who’s talented, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about her clients, Tanya is your girl. I absolutely recommend her!

Look no further! I moved to Raleigh three years ago and was not excited to find a new stylist. I’m the kind of person who sticks with my stylist. I can sit in the chair and they know what I want. That’s the type of relationship I want to have with them. I didn’t think i would find that again after leaving Richmond. Well, after the help of my Richmond stylist doing some research she found Lux salon and she “struck” GOLD. Sam quickly figured out what I liked, her expertise in color matching and extensions is like no other. If you are new to the area, just needing to change it up, or try hair extensions. Lux is a game changer! And a must in my beauty book!!!!

Abby Stone is a rockstar!! I have gone to her for blonde balayage & for brown color, both times I’ve been so happy with the results. Not to mention, shes sweet as can be. The salon is very helpful and makes booking appointments on the phone very easy. Everyone who works there acts like a family, its a special place. I added a pic of my hair a few weeks after a balayage to show the beautiful blend🫶🏼

I just moved to NC from out of state and was soooo nervous to find a new hair girl! But let me tell you, all of those fears went away after having Taylor Kelly as my hair stylist this past weekend, for the first time! She not only exceeded my expectations with my hair color and cut, but was so kind and personable! Her prices were so reasonable, as well! 10/10 would recommend Lux and Taylor! I’m so happy I was able to find someone I loved so fast!

Taylor Kelly is by far the best hair stylist I’ve ever been to. She listens to what I’m asking for and always delivers. Prices vary w each stylist if I understand correctly but from what I’ve seen/heard, totally worth every penny. The salon is always very clean and the entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. 10/10 salon. I drive 45min just to get my hair done by Taylor.

It's nerve-racking moving & finding a new stylist you trust. I am so grateful to have found Sarah Strickland! She listens to me, is very sweet and a truly talented stylist. I leave the salon feeling confident and excited to show off my hair. Thank you, Sarah, for taking great care of your clients! I recently had a haircut at Lux Hair Salon, and I can’t say enough about my stylist, Laura. She was very kind, sweet and extremely thorough. She took as much time as needed to ensure my haircut was perfect. Additionally, the Lux Hair Salon is so pretty, staff is great, the salon is meticulously clean, atmosphere is very relaxing. I wanted to go to this salon for a long time, and I only wish I had done so sooner. My cut was very reasonably priced. I’m a fan for life! ☺️

Really bad experience. Just so you have an idea. I have had bad jobs done before. Nothing like this ever. I started crying when I left. I felt as if she was blaming me for her job. I asked for a balayage, but only got a much darker brown (more like black) color, no balayage whatsoever. Her name was Emily. When she asked me if I liked it, I said not really. She then pulled me outside of the salon and told that I knew from the beginning that it was going to be darker (yes, but I agreed for face framing lowlights and a balayage in the honey or caramel highlights, not black hair). I showed her pictures and she agreed always saying that it would look a little darker… this is what I got for $310. No blowout. At the end, she said that she wasn’t comfortable doing my hair color again because she didn’t want to deal with someone that asked her to correct the color or that didn’t like what she did).

Tanya does an excellent job! I have seen her twice now and she does a great job with cut and color. She also listens to my hair concerns, is super gentle when brushing through wet hair and gives great recommendations for how to keep your hair healthy and looking its best. Would recommend her to anyone who is looking to fix, refresh or tone their blonde!

Best salon in Raleigh area. Organized, clean, staff extremely friendly and polite. The salon only uses the best hair products, like Kerastase. The hair massage during the hair wash is another differential. The hairdresser team is the best, Abby and Jess are fabulous but all of them are amazing too. While I'm living in Raleigh this is the only place I go.

lux is the best salon I’ve ever been to (and i’ve been to a lot as i move often and it takes me a few tries to find my new salon every time.) they have so many stylists and they are all so talented, well educated and professional. the services are pretty expensive but i do find them to be well worth the money. everyone i see walk out of the salon looks amazing!!

Sam B is a freaking QUEEN. To start, everyone at the salon is professional, warm, and kind. I’ve never had a bad experience with anyone there. Sam has always delivered what she says she will and is a true pleasure. They book up quickly so make sure to book in advance and pre book your services to avoid scrambling last minute. It is a bit more expensive than your average salon but I truly believe you pay for what you get and Sam is worth every penny. If you’re considering visiting, don’t hesitate! 2024: While Sam B was on maternity leave I had the pleasure of seeing both Sam S (for a cut and toner) and Kelli Jo for a balayage. Sam S did an incredible job. Kelli Jo gave me EXACTLY what I asked for in my balayage and nailed the tone perfectly. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anyone at Lux.

The first time they stained my shirt when they were washing out the color. The second time they left me for an entire hour with color/foil and it took 4 months for my scalp to stop burning in the shower.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Lux! I was recommended this place by a friend shortly after relocating to Raleigh and have been going here ever since. This place definitely lived up to the high standards I was used to. All of the stylist are well-trained and knowledgeable. Emily is a balayage queen and I trust her with my life when it comes to keeping my hair healthy and blonde. 🫶 She’s always got great product suggestions and is super fun to chat with. 100% recommend Lux and Emily if your looking for a new salon and stylist in Raleigh!

This salon is great! And Abby Stone is wonderful! I had a tough time building the courage to find a new salon/stylist lol but I would 110% recommend LUX and Abby! Nothing but great experiences here!
