Ok so I haven’t seen Abel or Regina but I followed my rockstar hair magician, Joanne, here and wanted to let you all know about her and this spot! The salon has a chill vibe, easy parking, and snacks. ;) Joanne is a color genius and also gives perfect cuts and styles. She has a great eye and will help guide you if you need help deciding what to do. If you know exactly what you want, she’ll knock that out of the park too. She’s easy to talk to but won’t force it if you need some quiet relaxation too. Oh, and THE BEST head massages!!! Love her. Love it here. You will too.

I recently visited Luxcy and I'm so happy. The salon is so beautiful and Able is the best. He takes the time to listen to exactly what I want and I really appreciate the care that went into every step. The end result exceeded my expectations—my hair has never looked better and he nailed exactly what I was looking for. It's still so healthy and soft even after getting highlights. I didn't want to use bleach again and Able said he had something that would still lighten my hair thats a little less damaging. I've received so many compliments since, loving it. Thank you Able!!! 💜 11/10

definitely recommend this place!! recently went to get highlights in my hair by Regina, LOVEDDD the outcome. literally the exact same as the inspo pic. such a welcoming environment and always made sure i was comfortable. gave me amazing tips on how to take care of my hair afterwards!

I love LuXcy! The location is great with an attached parking lot. It’s also within walking distance of great eateries and a new neighborhood market. Abel always takes such care with each appointment to listen attentively to what your goals are and work together to determine what’s going to be flattering and healthy for your hair. All the hair products used are high end and smell great. I always leave looking and feeling amazing. I love knowing that the owners are from Highland Park and care for their community and customers.

I'm so happy with my haircut everytime! I have been going about every 3-4 months. Abel is amazing, and provides so much attention to detail. The studio is quite and clean and there is plenty of street parking.

I had a curly hair cut by Regina. My hair is thin and straight at top then wavy- or so I thought- big soft curls at the bottom. Regina was on time, we chatted the whole time and she educated me so much on my hair! I didn’t feel rushed, the vibes and ambiance were awesome! I bought the products she used because by the time she was done- my hair looked great! She brought back how it was supposed to be- mostly curly! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, glad I finally found a great hairstylist that caters to my hair type!

I was amazed how effortless it was for Abel to cut my hair which many hairstylists often don't know what to do with (i got filipino/euro hair!) and i am very satisfied with my haircut! Lookin' stylin' and feelin' fresh!

Superb service and wonderful atmosphere! I have curly hair so going to get my hair done anywhere is always nerve-racking but Regina was easily able to help me get the cut that I wanted. I would absolutely come back for another haircut!

Typically I trim my hair at home and rarely went to hair salons or barbers because of past bad experiences of stylists cutting too much or not being really experienced. However, I finally decided to cut my long hair and was looking for a nice place that was nice and can style my hair other than an generic fade (or whatever most guys get lol). That's when I found this place and I have to say that I'm glad I got a haircut here. Abel did a fantastic job and he is very professional and friendly. It was great talking to him as he did my haircut, feeling welcoming and the salon was very clean and calm. I highly recommend this place and its now my go-to.

Definitely the type to stick to what I’m used to. But I gave this new place a try and I’m very happy I did. The place is very clean and cool inside. And the set up is welcoming. The stylist Abel was very friendly and made me feel comfortable while he did his thing and kept the conversation light. AND THE HAIR! I LOVE IT! 💛

Fantastic experience here. Very professional. Beautiful facility with the talented Abel who did my cut and color for me. Real fun mermaid vibes. I had a general idea of what I wanted but he really lead me in the right direction to help me decide what I wanted. Chose great colors to go with my complexion and eye color. I got tons of compliments at work the next day and also from strangers lol all around great experience. Will definitely be coming back.

I totally lucked out by finding able over a year ago and I totally lucked out by finding Abel over a year ago and am SO happy to finally have someone who I can trust with all of my hair needs My mostly grey (previous brown) hair takes on a very warm and orangey tint after getting dyed and Able can master it and has given me the tone of cool brown that looks best. His services are incredibly reasonably priced especially given the care and time that he provides. The salon - Luxcy - is small and personal and lovely. There’s always plenty of parking and the vibe is always very relaxing. Abel is also just a delight to talk to with a presence that is calm and always leaves me feeling relaxed. In a big city like LA it always feels good to support local, independent businesses, and I love that Able opened his salon right in the neighborhood where he grew up. I have recommended him to all of my friends and can attest to the fact that, even if your hair is funky and tough like mine, he has the patience and expertise to give you what you want.

New kids on the block, but L.A natives getting their piece of the pie. Luxcy open just in time for my search of a new hair stylist. My stylist was Abel, down to earth and talented with the tijeras. In my 3 visit I was very happy with my cuts and coloring. Enjoy the easy online appointments, and the overall salon vibe.
