I called to schedule an appointment for a balayge. The receptionist didn’t ask me if I wanted a partial or full and just booked me for a partial. when I went to my appointment. Abigail, my stylist, told me that I was booked for a partial balayage and after begging her to do a full balayage she agreed. I showed her some pictures of what I wanted and she said she can’t lift my hair to those. So I asked her to show me the toner colors after ward when we see how my hair lifted. Instead of balayage she did highlights. And then when she was about to tone my hair, she didn’t know what she was doing. She just showed me about 5 or 6 toner colors and then asked to show me the inspiration pictures again which I did. Then she told me will do a brown toner which will not have warmth in it. In the beginning, I had told her I didn’t want any caramel color in my hair. When she was done toning and blowing dry my hair, my hair was a caramel color. I told her that I didn’t like the color in my hair and she just kept saying that she went over the toner and etc.. with me. Yes, I understand you did, but you never showed me what color you were going to do. I had asked to retone my hair because I’m not happy with the color and she told me that too bad she can’t do anything. If I wanted to retone I have to rebook. Later, I called the salon to let the front desk know what happened, and the girl that answered the phone put the whole thing on me saying that she was there the whole time and that I didn’t know what I wanted and to not come to this salon again. Really really disappointed in how they went with all this. she didn’t even try to offer to fix it and just told me not to come back. I had to go to a different salon to have my hair retoned and the stylist there had told me that whoever had done my hair didn’t do the highlights right. (When I had asked for a balayge)

Luxe hair salon has a way of making you feel luxurious. Seriously, I feel so good after I get my hair done here. Abigail is my go to, she is super easy to talk to, talented, clear on expectations, she read me well and gave me great suggestions. For example, I got bangs and I couldn’t figure out how to style them and she took the time to show me how I can do it and now I can make my bangs look great any day. My hair journey has been super fun and it’s thanks to her.

The salon was very clean and nearly empty as I arrived. I was concerned it was upstairs, and grateful that there was an elevator. I was introduced to my hair stylist, who was young, bright, and energetic. As I was describing what I wanted with my hair, it became clear that the salon specializes in long hair and not short. I was referred to another stylist that had more experience with short hair. I'm not sure if that's true, but she cut my hair and I was sent back to my original stylist. I had asked that the top be kept a little shorter and I was allowing the back to grow out. The cut was just the opposite. I wanted my hair colored and I really appreciated that when the first color didn't take she put on a second color that did. She was very gracious and kind. I then went in for a facial. This was an absolute delight!!! I definitely will return for facials, but will look for a different hair stylist. .

This was my first time at Luxe Hair Lounge & Day Spa and it was such a great experience! I requested to see Lotus for my hair appointment and I’m so glad I did. She is incredibly sweet and friendly, making me feel comfortable right from the start. Lotus knew exactly how I wanted my hair styled and executed it perfectly. I’m beyond happy with the results and will definitely be booking my next appointment with her! Highly recommend!

Jody is a blondes best friend! She helped me with a full highlight and curtain bangs - she did an amazing job. The first stop I made after the appointment someone stopped me and told me how much they loved my hair color…that is all due to Jody. Katya did a wonderful job with an eyebrow wax. She took her time to make sure they were shaped correctly and was so kind. Thank you!

Really wonderful experience here! Zoe was incredible! Zoe did a great job with my style consultation. I really felt listened to, my own unique hair type understood, and face shape considered to really develop a bright new look! I will definitely be back! Zoe is a true hair artist!

Jodie was amazing! I got my hair done yesterday with her and she was so great! She got my hair exactly how I wanted and stayed at the salon late to finish my blowout. It’s been awhile since I’ve felt the way I do about my hair. She killed it!

Jen (Sr Stylist) is spectacular! I was in Sacramento from out of town and needed a color correction before an event scheduled two days later. I showed inspiration photos and she was able to fix my color and highlights, relieving my stress, and I was 100% satisfied. Not only talented but a great energy to her as well, making my time in her chair so enjoyable. I recommend you visit Jen for an all-around fantastic experience.

This was the first and only time i used this salon. I booked a haircut with Jen(senior stylist) and requested extra time because I have very thick hair and didn't want to be rushed. They called a few days before the appointment and asked if I could come in 30mins earlier to accommodate the extra, of course, that was fine. When I showed up, Lotus was the one ready to do my haircut. I found that odd and should have said something but trusted that she was a good stylist. When she started cutting my hair, she said she's been doing hair less than a year and I panicked a bit. I was confused and also she had already started cutting so I didn't feel like I could stop the process. The front looks ok, but the back is super uneven. She tried to give me layers, but it looks like steps and just uneven in multiple places. It's a bob cut, so if I want to get it fixed somewhere else, I have to go shorter, which I don't want. It was incredibly deceptive for the salon to switch me from the senior stylist, that I booked with to a junior one without telling me. I regret not speaking up sooner during the appointment but I've never had anything like that happened to me before and I waited over a week for that appointment. Also Lotus has very long nails and was not able to wash my hair properly. She basically got my hair wet and patted shampoo on the top of my head and then rinsed me.

I was looking to surprise my daughter in law with a mini make over for mothers day. Of course it was a last minute idea and most places were booked that weekend. I called Luxe and got the voice machine but never left a message. Surprisingly, I received a call back and a text from the salon almost immediately. They were the only salon to follow up. I was very impressed! They were able to give me an appointment with Jen - senior stylist. Jen was amazing! She took the time to listen to my daughter and was able to give her the style she was looking to obtain. Jen made the experience very pleasurable. She was friendly, lots of good conversation and laughter. We will definitely be back for all if our hairstyling needs. Thank you Jen for squeezing us in at the last moment. You are a true gem! We appreciate you!

I’ve been going to this salon for about 6-7 years now. I highly recommend Mila - she is the best at skin care, including dermaplane and micodermabrasion. For a relaxing massage, you can’t go wrong with Laura! She is the best for hot stone and/or deep tissue massage. I would not trust any other with my skin care. ❤️

Had an awesome experience at this hair salon with Lotus! The attention to detail with my hair was incredible. I was in for a cut and layering. The end result looked fantastic. I have a ton of a hair. Long and double the amount of the normal person. She took each segment of my hair and separated it, brushed, and dried. The last salon I went to spent nearly 3 hours sorting and brushing my hair. Despite past experiences, Lotus only took about 2 hours for the whole cut! She also did a scalp analysis due to my scalp scabbing and used according shampoo and conditioner. The wash was amazing and relaxing! I'd come back just for the wash! I'm so impressed by this establishment and hair stylist. I will definitely be coming back for any additional hair needs!

I loved this salon and I loved my stylist. Then something happened that I've experienced all too frequently with salons. Once our relationship was established and felt cozy, she started rescheduling me and being late. I can't have that. So, regrettably, I had to find someone else to do my hair and hope for better luck. But it is a very nice place. I also had a semi-decent massage there once, but also a facial that made me break out and did nothing it promised to do. I would say, from my experience, stick to hair, and don't get too comfortable.

I really like this place. The hairstylist I go to is Kim. She's great! She's likes to talk, but if you're not in the mood for chatting, she is very understanding about it. My mom has been going to her for almost 15 years & she LOVES Kim. The rest of the staff is very nice also. Luxe is in Sac & I live in Stockton, so it's a bit of a drive, but my mom and I usually make a day of it 😊 Two thumbs up 👍🏼 👍🏼for Luxe!!;

Was excited for my first Keratin Express treatment! Had a great experience with the front desk. My hairdresser was very personable and sweet! The process was fairly quick and I my hair feels so shiny and healthy 👌

Had a Brazilian blowout with Jen and she is amazing! So incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. My treatment came out so well and she was able to do it faster than any other stylist I’ve done it with. Highly recommend her!!!

I absolutely love this place. My husband surprised me with a cut and color appointment and I just absolutely love how it turned out! This is definitely my new favorite salon around Sacramento!
