I recently had multiple appointments with Paula, and while she exudes sweetness, there are a few aspects that left me hesitant. Despite informing her about my skin sensitivity each time, I found that she consistently forgets, pushing me to purchase expensive products that don't align with my skin needs. Additionally, I'm unsure if Paula is well-versed in dealing with skin tones that are not ethnic, raising concerns about personalized care.

Paula is such a treat to go to! I look forward to my monthly treatments. She always knows EXACTLY how I want my eyebrows shaped and trimmed perfectly! I had such a hard time finding a place in Cary when I first moved here. I’m so happy I found her!! My skin is glowing from her products. I’m obsessed with waterburst from image. Highly recommend the oxygen infusion facial when you’re needing a glow refresh ✨

With this being my 1st real facial I didn't know what to expect. Paula made me feel comfortable and she worked a miracle with my skin. My skin felt like it had a breath of fresh air. My face was actually glowing afterwards and I couldn't be more pleased. Paula recommended similar products for me to use at home and I've watched my skin begin to transform over the past 6 weeks. I will continue on a regular regimen with Paula. Thank you for this wonderful experience. I would not change a thing!

I got the Illuminating facial and vacuum extraction. My skin type is acne prone and I have hyperpigmentation. I’m 30, African American female. It was my first facial and I was nervous being a person of color but saw that Paula had 12 years experience. However there she didn’t make me feel confident. Paula used the Image Skincare line which was horrible. The fragrance from the products was overwhelming (which fragrance in skincare is a big no-no) and I feared it was going to irritate my skin but I tried to enjoy the experience. At the end Paula attempted to use a SPF but it was not universal therefore not blending into my melanin. This made me feel awkward and uncomfortable. Most people in skincare know that people of color have to avoid certain SPFs with things like minerals/zinc because it leaves a white/purple overcast. Because she couldn’t get it to blend she had to rewash my face which again I feared too much was being done to my face and this would further irritation. Luckily I had my own SPF moisturizer with me to put on. Overall Paula was nice but I didn’t have a good experience and wouldn’t go back because she didn’t seem knowledgeable with working with my brown skin and I didn’t like skincare line she used. My skin does feel smooth and she did a good job removing the blackheads. I don’t usually write reviews but I hope this provides useful feedback for Paula and I wish her continued growth and success.

I brought my 10 year old daughter to have an extraction, something that we've been dealing with for awhile. My daughter was nervous, but Paula's wonderful and gentle personality helped her get passed her reservations. Paula kindly let me stay in the room while she did her work. Paula was very gentle and patient yet didn't give up until the job was done. Two to three days later the spots were calming down and were looking amazing. It was such an awesome experience for both of us. To have my daughter experience this service was really important at a young age in my belief. If and when she does have another issue she will know that she has options and will have the confidence that she can get it taken care of and move forward from it. Being a child in school with acne is very difficult and I hope to keep it from happening. Paula made some great recommendations for products, and if we ever have an issue that we can't handle we know we can go to Paula for help. It's very relieving as a parent to know where you can get help with certain situations and acne is not a wonderful issue to deal with, it really takes a toll on a child's confidence. I recommend everyone give Paula a chance to help them. She has many other services that I personally plan on trying out. It's not just girls that need help with cosmetic stuff. :)

I had ultrasonic cavitation done. The tech was 30 minutes late but I was the last appointment so I was not surprised. The appointment went well. It was easy and noninvasive. It lasted about 30 minutes. Make sure you drink a lot of water before and after as explained in the before and after care. Try to go ahead and make future appointments as they are really busy.

Paula has been my Aesthetician for the past 4 years and I have received numerous compliments on my skin. Paula is very professional and cares about you and your skin. She takes the time to educate herself and her clients on what she feels is best. She has a very gentle and soothing touch and at times I have fallen asleep. Would recommend her with no reservations at all. You will feel reborn after Paula's magic hands have touched you.

I highly recommend a facial from Paula! The space is comfortable and relaxing, but most of all, Paula is able to make suggestions to give your skin the treatment that is most suited to fit your needs. I have been going to Paula for facials for a number of years and she has changed her services to attend to changes in my skin to give me the best possible results.
