This salon is very clean and elegant. I have been using it for years at the beautiful Carillon Point. My stylist for color and cut is Mark Sieler who does a superb job of cutting and styling my hair. Jean Lomet

I went to Luxlab for the first time a few days ago. I had a great experience from Start to finish. The salon is in a beautiful location right on the lake. There is ample parking in a covered parking garage. You can use their online booking site to see what’s available without making an account (you will need to make an account in order to book it). I booked on Saturday morning for an appointment the next day (it was the only one available so I think I got lucky). I was greeted warmly and kindly by Petra who recognized that I was a new client. The feeling of the salon was friendly and bright, but calm, mature, no drama. The other customers were also rather friendly, which was nice. I got then impression that all of the stylist there were very experienced and professional. My haircut with William was excellent. I see why he and the salon have such great reviews. He took plenty of time getting to know me and my hair. I have long hair and I can tell that he has a lot of experience with my hair type. He made lots of small adjustments to make sure the shape and movement were just right. Highly recommended! Luxlab is great and I will be back.

GREAT place but HORRIBLE booking process over whatever web site it uses. (In reply, to the owner's response below: I do like your place very much and let me be clear: this is a very nice place, has good parking, the staff is very nice, etc. But, the point of a review is to give an honest review. If everyone just reflexively gives five stars and says everything is super-duper without regard to what they find, reviews are meaningless. And, I don't consider checking with the owner of a business before posting a review, not that I review much, as being how reviews work. Indeed, it undermines them. As a few other thoughts as I went back and looked at the web site again: Do we really need two-factor authentication? To make an appointment for a hair cut? Finally, it is beyond annoying that when you hover over the "book now" button, the web site throws up a full page pop-up add for conditioner or whatever it is (below), that then has to be closed to resume booking. I suppose web sites are for selling but at a point this is too much )

Epic salon!! My haircut was sublime... it was a short haircut that I would not have trusted anyone else with (William). And my hair color was beautiful (Petra). Top-notch place. Highly recommend. :)

Cierra is the only stylist I trust with my hair. She pays great attention to detail and goes the extra mile to ensure you leave with amazing hair! Cierra is an amazing stylist! She does amazing work and you can tell it’s because she’s passionate about what she does! She’s honest about which products she likes and she gives great styling advice. I have dark hair so it takes a little longer for me to get highlights done and it requires careful attention to detail so she is really the only one who I trust to do it.

I've been seeing Cory for about 2 years now and will follow her wherever she goes! She's helped me love (vs. fight!) my short, wavy hair - both when it was a very short pixie and as I'm growing it out now. I was dreading the grow out, but so far, at every length she's helped me find a new style I enjoy. Cory's skills are superb, every cut is on point. I especially appreciate her attention to detail and genuinely addressing my concerns. I've also learnt so much about hair, I feel like I understand much better how to care for and enjoy my hair without having it coax it into doing unnatural things.

I recently had the absolute best salon experience of my life with Cierra!!! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was about to have a fabulous time. The salon itself is stunning—the decor and product walls are so luxe. I love Oribe and R&Co, both of which are used here. Cierra immediately came and introduced herself, hung up my coat, got me water, and put me at ease! Cierra is truly top-notch. She was not only incredibly talented but also took the time to listen to my needs and preferences. I wanted a shorter bob-style cut, but hate when stylist don’t get all the whispies that generally hide along my neck. I had the most crisp, perfect bob that I can wear as a center part, or if I flip to the side! She picked the best length that suited my face shape, too. Not to mention the COLOR. I got the most buttery, melty delicious highlights of my life. Her attention to detail shows—I could immediately tell that my hair will look good even in a few months once it’s grown out. The blend, the tone, it was perfection. Also, the amount of compliments I get on my hair each day has EXPONENTIALLY gone up! I’ve never had that happen to me before, and every time I tell them to go see Cierra! I feel like I won the stylist lottery. I have never felt like a million bucks after leaving a salon until that day!! The attention to detail and level of care that was put into my hair was truly remarkable. I cannot recommend my stylist Cierra enough. If you're looking for a fantastic hair salon experience, look no further. I have been going to this Salon for 5 years. They have very talented hair stylists and they are friendly, provide high quality service. Paule Attar is my favorite hair stylist, she is passionate about what she does. She is a true artist and has the ability to transform my hair to a piece of art. She pays attention to details, knows what is best for her client, she is very precise about hair measurement(someone very unique), she always surprise me with something different and beautiful! Watching her cutting and styling my hair is like enjoying art and engineering at the same time. My hair always feels lighter, a lot more natural movement, and it fits my face perfectly. It made me feel really satisfied afterwards every time! The best thing is I don’t ever have to think about what hair style I want, she took care of the thinking and execute it perfectly. She put her heart into what she does! It is always a privilege to work with her, she has taught me so much about art and life through cutting my hair over the years! I recently booked a haircut with Fatima, and this was my first visit to this salon. I was so impressed - and left feeling so confident and satisfied with the cut & style. I have thinner hair and it’s been a challenge to find a place that uses cutting techniques that can create the style I’m looking for. In addition to a great haircut, she was so polite and professional. The atmosphere was very clean, bright and inviting.

Visiting from out of town.. A rushed shampoo, no conditioning treatment, no scalp massage, no frills. Simple round brush blow dry. Came to $85.. The woman was nice but that’s quite ridiculous. I kind of feel taken advantage of.

Do not go here if you want a fashion color. Two sessions, 7 hrs, and my "silver" hair lasted less than a week. 2 washes and it was pretty much back to blonde. Very disappointed. 2 stars because the hair cut was great.
