The very first time I went, the guy did a decent job so I decided to try and remain a steady customer there for eyebrow waxing, but each time after that, the quality was mediocre. Most likely due to rushing the service. I understand that experienced professionals don’t need much time for their craft, but the outcome directly reflects the lack of time put in for the service. This time I went, a woman was there to wax my eyebrows annd upper lip. She absolutely rushed the service and due to her rushing, was all inconsiderate of how much wax she placed on my upper lip. I didn’t notice until the next day that it was actually bleeding after the wax. She had rubbed some cream on my upper lip so for the rest of that day, it only looked very red. For the next few days, it began to burn and formed into a sore. This place was empty, as it usually is anytime I go, so she had no reason to rush. I just expected a valuable service at least.

Customer service was okay but I’m not satisfied with my nails. I wanted coffin French tip and the shape isn’t as neat as I wanted it. I wish that they applied the nude polish at least twice before they put the French tip on because you can see the acrylic tip. I notice that the shapes of most nails are crooked due to filing being done at the end. The nails are pretty thick because the acrylic wasn’t filed down before polishing. The sides of my nails don’t have polish and the white polish has bubbles in it. The smile lines for the French tip are also crooked. From a distance they look ok but I’ll be going to another salon to get them fixed. Overall not satisfied and will never return

Not impressed with the service. I was told that gel polish would last a long time. The gel on two nails started coming away from the nail after it had been applied in a little over 4 days. It appears to be been applied too heavily and too sloppily There were uneven parts that were raised on the sides of a few nails. I also specified some things that I wanted done but my requests fell on deaf ears. She just continued working. She also didn’t do a very good job cleaning the cuticle. I felt like she was in a hurry to get it done and get me out. There were no other customers at the time. The salon looked organized and clean.

Nice atmosphere but their work is below average for the prices they charge. I had to file my nails when I made it back home to correct the shape. They rush and do a poor job. Nails look like I need a refill after a few days. There’s a reason it’s always near empty.

I had a disappointing experience during my recent visit. I wasn’t presented with a menu of services at the start, and there was no itemized list of services provided. The nail tech was incredibly uncommunicative, only saying “Can you pay before?” and “bye” throughout the entire service. There was a lot of pushing and pulling of my limbs without regard for my comfort during the pedicure and manicure. The manager didn’t listen to my requests, instead insisted on telling me what I needed and then engaging with other customers about our interaction. Overall, the service was not up to standard, and I cannot recommend it based on my experience.

This used to be my spot for a few years. I moved to Houston for 2 years and came back this year. I decided to come to the spot that always did me justice. Well this time I was not pleased. The first time i visited I came with my sister in February and our services were rushed and my polish started chipping 2 days later. I still tried to give them another chance today. I decided to try them again because not many places are opened on Sunday near by. First off , I was on VIP list which before meant I can get 20% off. Well, I was told my pedicure with gel was $70 dollars!!! I was shocked because it was never that high previously. When i went to pay, after my discount was applied the guy said 60 dollars?!? At this point I’m confused because how did $70 turn into $60 after a 20% discount. It was suppose up be $56. The guy said it changes day by day and the 20% off was for customers who got the manicure and pedicure. These were obviously new rules that were never in play any of my previous times I came here. I felt jipped and messed over, especially because I used to Rave about this place. I’m finding a new place for my next self care day. PS. i feel like they are up charging to compensate for giving out the discounts and because they are getting less business .

A friend and I went to this nail salon and both got a full set with gel polish. The whole process was very rushed and my nails turned out bumpy and uneven. The shape was so bad and my nails were lifting after 3 days. I went back to the salon to see if they could fix them and they told me that they weren’t lifting and he just started filing and drilling my real nails underneath the acrylics. I reiterated that the backs of my nails near the cuticle were getting caught on things etc and he just kept trying to tell me that they were going to last three weeks even though they didn’t even last 3 days since the initial application. I left frustrated since the problem wasn’t fixed and took myself over to harmony nails where they did the best job. My advice is to stay far away from luxury nails and bring your service to harmony nails down the street they did an amazing job and were very patient and accommodating.

I usually have a decent experience here, I usually have a man who services me, but the last two times I have went I had an older lady doing my nails who is very rude. She just pulls and pushes on my hands and feet instead of just saying what’s she wants me to do. When I got a pedicure, she gave me the color samples which I thought were all gel, and begins painting, I knew immediately after she only pained one nail that it wasn’t gel and told her that I would like gel and I apologized because I thought the color options she gave me were gel. This has never been a problem because they usually always ASK. She then storms off and begins clearly talking about me, as if her having to remove toe nail posh off ONE nail was such a detrimental task for her to do. And the following week I got my nails done by her she rushed, sides of my nails weren’t polished, shaping not square at all like I asked :( That lady has honestly ruined my whole experience at this shop. I would keep coming here but I don’t want to risk getting her again as my nail tech.

The place had potential but went down hill quickly. I only sought out this place because Vera nails down the street was full. When I arrived I was pleased with the atmosphere and polish selection. The young man at the counter was very friendly and courteous. I went in for a pedicure and refill. I was seated and the lady who started the services was kind and a little too quick but when she started spraying alcohol on my toes I realized that I hadn't received a massage during my pedicure. I informed her politely, but another worker, possibly the manager, interjected and said, "she gave you massage when she put the scrub on." I disagreed. He told me "you want 35 minute massage?" I said no thanks, that's okay. He goes on to say, "if you want massage, you can go to the luxury massage." I formed him that he was trying to be funny but he knew exactly what I meant. His arrogant, sarcastic, rude attitude ruined the experience and I'm more than sure he would never treat his other clients the way he treated me. None of them laughed. I'll stick to Vera nails like I should have in the first place. At least they make sure to address any concerns and make their customers feel appreciated and maintain customer loyalty.

The worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon!! First I was over charged!! What I signed for was 40$ and I was charged 49.20 I’m not sure if he added a tip but that’s illegal! The service was ok, there was no sanitation visible or any clean nail scrubs. So many things were wrong with the visit! I wanted to leave the whole time!!

Do NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE. YOU WILL COME OUT LOOKING GOOFY AND CROOKED. I politely asked for a slight clean up, no shaping, and NOT THIN. I was charged $15 for a horrible job. I also left with wax all over my face. Just a warning ! :)

I was hoping for a relaxing spa day with my mom but as soon as we walked in they were barking orders at where to sit and to find a color. The guy doing my nails was doing 3 people at once so it felt very rushed and I was not happy with the results. He also wasn't very kind to me when I told him I wanted thin nails and he said it wasn't possible. I never leave reviews but I left feeling unhappy with lumpy nails 😥😥 worst place I have been by far and I have gone all around for many years now

I won’t be going back. The services I paid for were rendered (we spent $200), but things felt a bit rushed and the staff was not that friendly, despite my efforts to interact, to say this was our first time (I brought a group of 3 it was empty when we arrived) etc. Just kind of a cold reception and experience. The service was not as good as smaller salons I’ve been to. No wrap for over your legs, they just kind of laid one warm towel over each shin and left it there. BUT the place is pretty inside, clean, and spacious. Nothing to write home about for the cost- now I know how good I’ve had it at my neighborhood hole-in-the-wall!

I've used this salon since it opened..My only constructive feedback is to advise groups (sororities) to make appointments so other customers are not inconvenienced. The other thing is be gentle with healing feet and fingers. Very happy to be a VIP member. 💅

I’m so disappointed with my nails. They didn’t shape my nails into an actually shape. At the end, she filed our nails way too hard on the sides. I won’t be back. UPDATE: I went back, after Jimmy contacted me. He, personally, did nails and toes and I was so happy! He did a great job shaping and polishing my nails and toes. I’ll definitely be back to get my nails and toes done by Jimmy! Thank you so much!

Super disappointed at my visit to this nail salon. This is my 4th time going and was by far my worst experience. The last time I got a design and honestly was decently impressed so got cat eye nails this time. They look awful. You can see black peaking out from under the color and they clearly didn't even try with the magnet. Its splotchy and ugly at best. I even mentioned to the man doing my nails that I was unhappy with how it looked and then he said there was no way he could control it. On top of that I told him there was an issue with the base black and he told me not to worry you wouldn't see it. You do. It looks like there's a crack in my nail. This is such a bad nail polish job that I wasn't even excited to show anyone my new nails. Very disappointed as I thought I'd found such a great spot but now they've lost a customer.

Went for the first time for dip/pedicure. My pedicure may have listed 15 minutes. File, trim, slapped some scrub and lotion on, threw a hot towel over both of my legs, polish. No massage! Dip nails-he explained he used a different technique and the one used at EVERY salon I’ve been to is outdated according to him. Painted on a layer of the dip powder, baked in the oven, then put on a layer of gel. Never asked me what shape I wanted. Didn’t trim my cuticles. No file of the tips after painted (tips were jagged). No massage. All that for $80! And the best part-I was asked if I wanted matching color. Yep, I do. Well, my finger nails are hot pink, which is what I picked out, and my toes are coral. When I mentioned they didn’t match his response “with the technique I use they don’t always match”. What??!! Never offered to repaint my toes to match. What a waste of $80!

Worst pedicure I’ve ever had. I asked for the Luxury Pedicure (their most expensive one) and from start to finish she was done in under 30 mins. She didn’t file the nails at all and she didn’t even try to remove the dead skin and make my heels soft. I get pedis all the time and this is the most disappointing one I’ve ever had. I won’t ever go back to this salon.

they did not go in order of people who came. started on me and then started servicing two others. i have came here plenty of times and the normal process was not given to me when i normal get a refill. i only got one coat of nail polish and they did not file it afterwards at all. i’m pretty sure it is because the shop began to get over filled but that does not mean shorten the service i am paying for. will not be returning.
