I went into the Lux nails on S.New Braunfels.i had a bad experience with Management Norma who took someone else ahead of me when I was there first. I brought it up to her attention and she said that one of her employees was at HEB shopping and would be in soon.i told her I didn't have that much time and she sent me up with a youngsn who didn't even know what he was doing cutting my toe nails unevenly I got up and left and she Supervisor Norma I believe was her name and she was very rude and sarcastic and I brought up my concerns and all she wanted to do was argue with me instead of understanding how I felt.i walked off barefoot without any shoes and had someone with a mask young guy who was incompetent to even do nails never ever going back ever

I took my daughter to this establishment for a manicure, and it was an extremely disappointing experience that warrants a critical review. The service was not only rushed, but the technicians handled my daughter’s nails with a surprising lack of care, which left her feeling uncomfortable and unsatisfied. For a service that already carries a hefty price tag, we expected a level of professionalism and attention to detail that was markedly absent. Initially quoted an outrageous $100 for the service—far beyond the normal $65 charged at our usual salon—we reluctantly accepted a reduced price of $75. Even at this adjusted rate, the quality of work we received was deeply inadequate for the amount we were charged. That said, the experience left us feeling undervalued and dissatisfied—a stark contrast to the pampered treatment that should accompany such expenses. It's disheartening to witness an establishment prioritizing profit over genuine customer care and quality service. If you value professionalism and a meticulous touch when it comes to your nail care, I highly recommend steering clear of this place. In conclusion, this experience has highlighted the urgent need for this salon to reevaluate their practices. Quality should never take a backseat to speed or price gouging. I sincerely hope they reflect on this and make the necessary improvements, but for now, I cannot recommend them to anyone seeking a worthwhile nail service.

My boyfriend took me yesterday for my birthday to get a pedicure. The technician took longer then Ive ever experienced for the same service. They didnt even last 6 hours before they started lifting and one chiped off. I dont even live in the area to go back to get them fixed and I dont even want to after reading other reviews , seems like this salon hire technicians who dont know what they are doing. Not to mention they over charged me then "discounted" me for my birthday and it was the price it shouldve been originally. I will NEVER go back to luxx.

I walked in for a full set and was told to have a seat at one of the stations waited in seat after over 20 min so I walked out. Poor communication poor customer service

Ask for Andrew. I get my nails done regularly and he is by far the best nail tech I’ve had. These nails are thin yet durable. I’ve had them on for almost a month now. I need a fill (haven’t had time 🎄) but otherwise they’re still in excellent condition.

It was an amazing place and experience! I got matching nails with my grandma and had Andrew do my nails and he was really well at making sure wether or not I liked them before he continued.

It was my first time here, I was super overwhelmed walking in and having to explain to 3 different people what I wanted. Once that was situated it was great! Ryan did an amazing job and really listened to my needs and any concerns I had. Around 7:10, the girls at the front came around to collect payment from the remaining customers but I was still mid nail paint when they wanted to cash me out. They stood there which made it awkward for me and Ryan and I felt rushed. I understand trying to leave by closing time (7:30) but I am still a paying customer and want to relax and enjoy my service. Other than that, I am satisfied with my nails and toes and will be back.

Patty the manager always rolls out the red carpet for every visit. If I’m in a crunch for time she’ll jump through hoops and have the team get my mani & pedi done at the same time. They are quick, very friendly professional and Andrew is my go-to nail tech! He’s fast and my nails 💅 always look amazing!! Thank you Luxx team for always providing the best service! ❤️

Terrible. I got my nails done on December 22,2024 and within a week they were already chipping. I requested overlay on my natural nail and shellac nail polish, nothing too complicated and this is how I typically have my nails done. I did deviate from my usual nail salon so maybe you can call this karma 🤔. Regardless I felt compelled to share my review. I do NOT want a redo nor would I like my money back. Rather, I’m bringing awareness of what to expect from LUXX Nail Bar. 👎🏼 Update: I received a response back from the salon(see pictures). If they are implying I was mistaken they are incorrect. I specifically asked for overlay with shellac nail polish and am no stranger when it comes to nail salons. This is the only way I get my nails done so this was not an error on my part. The best thing LUXX NailBar could do is admit their technician did not perform a satisfactory job rather than try and undermine and shift blame on the customer. This is unacceptable, period end of story.

Andy does an amazing job with my toes. He’s very detailed with his work and always professional. He always gives me tips on how to make my nails healthier. Definitely recommend getting your toes with him.

Everyone is so nice, the techs and receptionists have an amazing attitude. I felt welcomed the moment I stepped through the door. My tech was very gentle during my pedicure and worked thoroughly on my full set. I will be coming back for my next set.

Just finished having a family spa day. I got a pedicure and a full gelx set, my dad a pedicure, my man a pedi and mani, and my mother a dip set so six services in total. We loved every moment. Kevin is my go to for my pedicure and Lynn absolutely killed it with my nails too. Great experience overall. Got the express pedicure this time and it was so relaxing.

The worst nail experience ever! Don't come here IF you have expectations, mine were shattered. I asked for a very light glass nail with a cat eye effect and came out with this hack job! Nail tech changed my nails because of a conversation I having with a staff member, she did not ask or verify with me before making any changes. (There was a language barrier) I drove in from an hour away because they were going to fix it, or so they told me over the phone. To my surprise, they only offered a paint cover-up, which was still going to cost me money...I left even more upset than the first time! Phoebe and Patty were the managers- and did nothing to help, even when the person who explained to them what happened, the receptionist- explained what I had asked for and not knowing why and how I eneded up with black acrylic on my nails- they offered nothing. So disappointing. Never again luxx nails! Came in because they offered military and nurse discount- didn't use it, but not worth the bad experience! I don't usually post bad reviews, but this experience was one of the worst ever.

Very helpful answered always my questions I am a simple person i don't like fake nails on my hand just mine short and polished and my feet short and polished i would definitely recommend this place prices are fair for all services definitely bringing my mom and this will be my new spot thank you to all the persons that helped me .
