Had a very professional and pleasant experience. Was a bit nervous after not getting my hair done after so long but Luz exceeded my expectations with her excellent judgment and attention to detail. The cost was more affordable than I anticipated. I’ll definitely be returning.

Luz, the owner of LV Hair Salon, fixed my daughter’s hair cut for free!!! My daughter had a haircut done by Andrea, she rents a booth from Luz. I was extremely disappointed because she performed not a very good hair cut and a really bad hair style. Luz fixed the hair cut and did an awesome style on her. Definitely, I recommend Luz 100%. We will continue coming to do our hair with HER. She did an awesome job.

This is my first time here and I absolutely love it. I have grays coming out fast and furious and was not ready to start just letting it grow out. During the consultation Luz gave me options and explained the long term process. I am so happy with the highlights and balayage. LV Salon was recommended to me and I truly would also highly recommend it. Luz did an amazing job with my hair.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS. If you want your hair to look completely different from what you asked for and still get charged the original price for a completely different service DEFINITELY go here. I was forced to pay 300 HUNDRED dollars for what was supposed to be a blonde balayage (We discussed this months in advance and AGAIN as I sat in her chair before she started. showing her PICTURES in both instances) but instead she decided to give me baby highlights and said this was the blonde balayage I asked for. RESPONSE to her comment: she's making it seem like that's the lightest my hair was going to go, the reality of it is. Bleach didn't touch majority of my head. I had to cancel the appointment because she was still being very uncooperative with days and times she'd be able to touch it up, knowing my employer. The military is not going to let me off work early for a hair appointment. to read pictures in order, start from the last photo to the very first We agreed that my hair wouldn't be lifted to the shade of bone that I wanted and that it would take multiple appointments. She claims that this is how I'd get to the look I desired, many, many sessions of what I had got done that day 300 per session. The black she's referencing to in the photos provided was a black gloss treatment that I got done years prior, I was also fine with the possibility of certain parts of my bleached hair not being the same shade. She understood this. Do you think I got a blonde balayage? Luv was who did my hair, BEWARE

I love this place! Luz is a great professional! She leaves my hair feeling wonderful! She is patient and really listens to what you want. I feel happy with my look every time I leave here, only been here about 5 times and feel like I've known her all my life! Thank you Luz, God bless you!

Luz has been doing my hair for 4 years now and I will not let anyone else touch my hair. Luz gives me the color and cut I ask for and since she has been doing my hair I get so many compliments and people ask me where I get my hair done. I came to Luz and my hair was so short and now it is so healthy and past my shoulders. Luz is the best at hair color in town!

One of the worst hair salons I’ve visited in El Paso. I chose this place based on the positive Google reviews, expecting great care for my hair color. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Luz, the stylist, was very unprofessional. She applied the color aggressively, getting it on my ears and even inside them. Despite this, I patiently waited for the process to be completed. She left the color on for an hour before washing it out, but the wash was rushed and harsh. She didn’t bother to clean the dye off my ears or skin, even though it was clearly visible. I specifically mentioned that I didn’t want a blow-dry or styling, but that didn’t mean I wanted to leave with dripping wet hair. She didn’t even take the time to towel-dry properly, leaving me to walk out with water running through my hair. When I got home, I had to rewash my hair myself, only to find dye stains all over my forehead and skin. The entire experience was frustrating and unprofessional. To top it off, Luz was rude throughout the process. I couldn’t help but wonder if her behavior was influenced by bias or discrimination based on ethnicity. This was an awful experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this salon to anyone.

Highly recommend! She listens to the client and is great about making sure she doesn’t over-cut like so many hairdressers do. (To be fair, sometimes it’s the client who THINKS that they want 2 inches cut off and then gets upset when it’s shorter than they expected…like me!) She knows what she’s doing! She is very popular (as you can tell with her 5 star rating) so make sure you call ahead of time to schedule an appointment with her because she fills very quickly!

BEWARE! I went in only to get a trim and angle to blend my bangs and frame my face. Luz took thinning shears and Hacked my whole head. I don't know where she got her license or if she even has one! I went there because there were a lot of good reviews, but as I reread them after my devastating experience, I see they were reviews on her coloring hair NOT trimming hair! Now all my ends and layered ends look as if someone took a razor to my hair. And totally cut more off on one side than the other. I could just cry! If you care how you look DO NOT LET HER TOUCH YOUR HAIR!!!!

I cut my hair by Luz. It is my second time I am using her services. I like how Luz can create style for my hair cut with benefits my look. She is very professional and has ability to see the right way of hair cut for each individual customer. She is a true artist!

I highly recommend LV Hair Salon. Luz has been my hair stylist for many years now, and she has never disappointed me. I have very thick hair and her texturizing and haircuts are the best. My grays are completely covered, and I get multiple compliments about my hair. She is the best and a very kind lady. Thank you Luz!

The 4.9 stars are deserved! Luz did an awesome job with my long, thick, curly hair. She listened to me and gave me exactly the cool-toned blonde balayage I requested. She was able to fix the brassiness another hairstylist had given me. Luz is up to date on current trends. She is as good or better as the hairstylists I've seen in major cities (Seattle, Nashville, and Phoenix). Highly recommend!

I asked for a balayage and did not get it, at all. I have blond highlights on my roots? I asked for dark on top, to light on bottom. I wish I could get a refund.

I came to this salon based on the positive reviews, but I left feeling disappointed. First, I was charged extra because Luz claimed she had to brush my hair more. She initially quoted me $75, but the price suddenly increased at the end. Why should I pay more for a service that should already be included? The experience was uncomfortable—she brushed my hair so aggressively that I ended up with a headache. I didn’t even get the haircut I requested, and she didn’t style it either. I usually go to a professional salon on the east side and pay $60 for a full service, including washing, brushing, and styling. Charging $85 for what I received is just ridiculous. I won’t be coming back.

I recently visited LV Hair Salon and it was an incredible experience. Luz (the owner) was welcoming and professional, making me feel comfortable right away. Today, I found Luz at LV Hair Salon, and I am so pleased! Luz really listens to you and takes the time to walk you through the process. Having just relocated here a few months ago, I was looking for someone equally as amazing as my stylist in Florida. I had a terrible first experience a month ago, which left me anxious, not knowing what to expect. Luz had her work cut out for her today, and I can happily say I've found another "diamond 💎 in the rough." There are many hairdressers but only a few that are as talented, passionate, and genuine as Luz at LV Hair Salon.
