DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM If you’re Black/Caribbean with kinky/coily hair, AVOID THIS SALON. I had a sew-in and came in for a sew-in maintenance and they slipped a texturizer in my hair. I have been going to Dominican salons for years & im from South Florida so I know the ins and outs. I went to the in late December and one, they are EXTREMELY rough when washing your hair and blowing it out. I had a weft lifting and they didn’t even bother seeing it back down after their rough job messed it up. After I took out my sew-in and washed my natural hair, I noticed that my leave out (the section of my hair they worked on) it did NOT revert back to its original curls and my hair has just a weird chemical smell, no matter how many times I wash it. I’m so pissed and I’m telling you, if you’re BLACK DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CURL PATTERN.

Today I had the chance to stop by L&Y Fanny Beauty Salon and Coco did my hair so beautifully. She did my hair while I was pregnant and now and my hair is growing so beautifully. She specializes in hair care and restoration so if you are natural she is the one for you. 10/10 highly recommend!! My hair grew so much.

I just had a great experience at Fanny Beauty Salon this Friday. I had never dyed my hair differently than covering my white roots at home. I wanted to change my strong-black hair color and soften my facial features. I spoke with Luchy first on the telephone and then at the salon. She took the time to listen to my concerns and worries and explained the process and expectations. I was there for 6 hrs. The result: Amazing! Luchy went above and beyond to make sure my hair looked fabulous. I’m super happy! What I loved the most was Luchy’s and her team’s professionalism and kindness. I left the salon with a smile and the feeling of being treated unprejudiced and loved. Thank You Luchy, for your vision & skills! You have another life-long, loyal client!!

I stopped at this place just to ask a question and it has been a wonderful experience. It is a place that since I arrived I felt an atmosphere of peace and a lot of tranquility, there they treated me in an incredible way, everyone is very professional, kind, attentive, affectionate and pleasant, at the time of offering me the products for my hair the prices were very good within the reach of my budget and the quality was spectacular, it was a very pleasant time being there, I am very happy with the work they did on my hair in all the senses, They are all stylists with a lot of experience, I recommend 100% that if you want to see your hair beautiful and prosperous, visit there, Thank you Luchy, Ida, Rosa to all. If I could’ve given it no stars I would’ve! I had an appointment scheduled for 3/14 at 4pm for a WASH AND SET! Unfortunately, I had to reschedule it for 3/ 21 for the same thing! A WASH AND SET! Now today my appointment was for 4pm again! Same thing, a WASH AND SET! When I walked in the “ owner stated that my appointment was not for a wash and set, only a blow dry. I stated that’s not what I I booked my appointment for, can we just do the wash and set instead since my appointment was already rescheduled 3 times. She told me that she’s the owner and she didn’t have time to do the wash and set. I said I’m already here I don’t see what the issue is. After going back and forth for 7 mins , I started to get annoyed and raising my voice. She said since I had an attitude she wasn’t doing my hair anymore; she’ll refund my deposit and all the other ladies in the shop as well said they didn’t wanna do my hair because of my attitude. If you booked the appointment right the first time, I wouldn’t have had an attitude to begin with.

First, let me say I am picky with all service providers I go to. This salon is a 10/10, from the washing to the styling they are amazing and they prioritize the health of my hair everytime I have went. I got clip ins for the first time and the quality of the hair is great! The owner, Lucci blended my hair so well and I have no complaints. Best service I have had from a salon. For reference I have 3C hair.

I called to make an appointment for a shampoo and blow dry and I was taken aback by the fact that you have to pay a deposit and you don’t know how much the service is before hand. The mere fact that she said the price will depend on the length and TEXTURE of your hair blows me. This is literally the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. My service charge is dependent upon my hair type? Sounds like an easy way to overcharge people especially if they have 4c hair( traditionally black Afro centric hair)

I had a wonderful experience getting a really amazing wash blow dry and getting my hair curled for my birthday. The wash was great you’ll just fall asleep in that chair while getting your hair washed so relaxing and the extra deep conditioning just what my hair needed. Also the owner Lucci (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) very sweet took her time with the blow drying , since my hair is super thick and curly ,gave me an amazing trim and curled my hair to perfection just right. I am thankful because, I wouldn’t have had time to do this myself she got me birthday ready in no time. The ladies at this shop are always so sweet anytime I’ve come here for the past few years I highly recommend.

Unfortunately, changing my five star review to three stars. I had a wonderful experience the first couple times I went here when Fanny colored and styled my hair. I was ecstatic how wonderful my hair looked and recommended the shop to multiple people. The issue arised when she was not there and someone else did my hair and completely butchered it. The stylist rushed because she wanted to leave the salon since her ride was there and fried my hair. I had an appointment for an ombre touch up that was originally warm honey blonde and I left the shop with gray ashy blonde hair. The stylist assured me that the color I was seeing was due to the overcast sky. The next day once realizing how bad it was I called the salon. I got the runaround until finally they agreed to fix the hair, but i still needed to pay for the blow dry.... another $60. The stylist added toner and even then there were still large pieces of hair that were gray/ ashen. The only reason I saw another stylist was because Fanny was not available and I was also moving out of the area. I planned to continue to visit Fanny even after I left the area, but this situation caused me to have to find another hair stylist to fix this issue. The cost to fix the hair was over $400. These things happen, but I wasn't satisfied about how it was dealt with. In the multiple conversations I had on the phone and when I was in the salon I was never apologized to. I hope in the future the salon management finds another way to deal with mishaps like this because there is room for improvement.

i called for availability (new client) and asked for botox she told $250 special (botox, cut, wash, blow) . I normally use botox to avoid doing my blow out, as my hair after botox is complete silky when air dry. I had botox applied here and my hair was still curly after roller set so i wasn’t happy, she (stylish) said it was a different what i needed something else she had (more expensive), it was something with formol that bother in the eyes while being apply (her words) I told her never had any problems with botox bothering my eyes. She started my blow out and i wasn’t satisfied bc i could see my hair completely curly (btw my curls are 2B-2C not kinky) and she went and got something applied on my hairline - now that did bother my eyes,- she kept blow drying my hair without removing product she applied in my hairline. Fast foward did not wash my hair for 4days as she recommended not to tight or wash for 48-72 hrs. Here i am curly hair, “botox” $ in the garbage. At check out i had to pay $25 for reservation of appt, What!!! at that point i wanted out. Paid and left! Never Again!

Great place and friendly atmosphere! Luchi and her staff worked on my hair I’ve been coming to this salon for years. Recently I had my hair colored, her amazing staff transformed my hair! It’s very hard to find hair salons that cares about your hair and puts quality time on your hair. I recommend Fanny Hair Salon for blowouts, treatments on your hair for growth, cutting, permanently colors and more. My advice to anyone when going to a Hair Salon. You need to be honest with the hairstylist’s. This is why they ask many questions, the hairstylist can’t do miracles with your hair if you know your hair is already damage from somewhere else.. I highly recommend this place. I love Rosa, she’s the one that assist with washing your hair. Overall Luchi’ s staff all of them are Amazing!!!! I wanted to make sure I posted this because of the previous negatives post. Believe me you won’t leave disappointed!

Luchi TRANSFORMED my hair. It was dry and needed cutting. She cut it into a bob after blow drying it. It feels really soft and bouncy. She asked me about the cut each step of the way and really aimed to go for the look I wanted. Will be back.

On weekends you should always have enough staff to accommodate clients. Walk-ins come in all the time. The salon closes at 6:00pm. I came at 4:15pm. There's no reason that I should be turned away for service. I drove 45 minutes to get my hair done and was turned away. That shouldn't have happened. But I won't return. So be it! Thanks for the inconvenience. Y'all aren't about real business when you don't have the right amount of staff on the weekend. That's the busiest time of the week! 1+1=2... hello!

They claimed to use heat protectant but SEVERELY damaged my natural hair that I have been growing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE AFRO/KINKY HAIR! The damage to my hair is irreversible and that hurts. I have been caring for my natural hair for the last 10 years and it only took 1 visit to destroy my hair to this extent. Now I have to cut all of my hair off and it PAINS me to have to do so. Your better off going somewhere else. Please see the images of my hair that I have attached.

I have been going here for years. Although Fanny is a sweetheart her staff is very unprofessional. The person doing my hair was making rude comments about my hair ends because Fanny bleached them last year. I only wanted gold highlights but they were bleached blonde instead so I've been growing it out for the past year. An error on the salon behalf but they are dried. The staff was also making rude comments in Spanish " How am I gonna work with this?" And making it a laughing matter when I declined her to cut it. Very rude. Very unprofessional and she overcharged me. I always say I will never go here again because of how unprofessional they are. Make the trip to Milo's in Cape Coral. They treat you like family and the Quality is way better for the price. Trust me! **** I will say that even with the unprofessional rude treatment, the Botox touch up treatment she did looks amazing, even though I'm upset she was yanking and burning my hair in anger while blow drying because I refused rollers. The end results was beautiful. Just not worth the rude, unprofessional treatment
