Just moved to the neighborhood My sister and I tried this old looking salon on two different days, We both had the same experience, She had lynnell cut her hair, It was a wham bam thank you ma'am type of haircut, I had Jennifer cut my hair.... This is a noisy salon, with lots of it's insulting backstabbing gossip the loud brash voice from lynnel was permeating taking over the salon, making it very difficult to have a comfortable shampoo cut blow dry... The best way I can describe this salon "it is Very Bad Vibes

My new go-to for special events. I called in to ask for a hairstyle trial for my wedding. The owner, Lynnel, was kind and straight to the point, immediately referring me to Collette, who scheduled me in quickly. The salon is clean, cute, and has a very cozy and fun feel. Everyone was very nice, and she did an amazing job on my hair during the trial. It was very reasonably priced, especially for the quality. She squeezed me in for my wedding, which I am so grateful for, and my hair lasted all day, even after the beach wind. I love this place, and highly recommend.

Was on time to my first appointment with Lynell. The other stylist said she had been in Mexico and was crossing the border now. She should be there in 15 minutes. Waited, then finally left. Lost a first time customer.

Was asked to come in earlier last minute so the stylist could get to a party on time, which I was happily able to do. However, the service then felt very rushed and I kept getting hit in the face by my own wet hair while she was washing. Was not a relaxing experience. Haircut came out okay though. A little choppy and slightly uneven, but nothing terrible. Probably won’t come back though.

I went to lynnel for my daughter and I to have our hair done for my wedding. I specifically picked her because of the braids she's able to in hair. She did such a beautiful job on my daughter's hair and mine I would definitely go to her again to have my hair done for any event I have going on in San Diego. Her salon was warm, welcoming and comfortable, I love the look of the salon also It was so awesome.

Lynell is a great stylist, in a great location at great prices. I’ve been a client here for about 20 years. If you are lucky, her little Yorkie named Oliver may be in the salon when you are there. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else!

Lynnel gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. I went in for a trim on super short notice and they washed and conditioned my hair and actually trimmed my hair! Most places cut more than you want when going in for a trim but Lynnel killed it, making my hair even and healthy looking without taking off the length! Really loved this place

I get my hair cut by Tina at this salon. Tina is very knowledgeable and awesome. She does exactly what you want done. Prices extremely reasonable too, even for color. The only thing during this Corona outbreak is that another beautician had a client who wouldn't wear a mask, yet she was given her hair treatment anyway. It's not right that 1 person can be without a mask when everyone else wears one. And no, she was not short of breath at all.
