I was so worried about getting hair extensions, but you did such an amazing job with the straightening and matched the extension color perfectly to my natural hair. I’m so touched by how carefully and beautifully you worked on it! 😭 It doesn’t even look like extensions—it feels like my own hair, so natural! Thank you so, so much!! 😊

Great service here. People are friendly and scheduling is very easy. I have been a customer for some time now. Michelle does a great job for haircuts, I have very thick Asian hair and it’s hard to keep in shape, but her technique shapes the hair so well and it’s very easy to maintain. Also the support staff’s technique are wonderful too, the hair washing is always a few minutes of nice treat :)

I been going to Michelle for a while now. Started with magic perm for my back then long frizzing hair than moved on to soft curl perm with hair color and now mostly bob hair cut. For new style, Michelle likes to ask you to bring in picture of hair style you wanna try. Which is much better than just go by what I mean. Owner Michelle is very upfront about how style i choose will look on me. For an example, with my hair length and thickness; what percentage of same look will be achieved from picture I showed her. Than its upto me to decide if i still want that style or stick with same as before. 🫣 Either way, she will work with you to get style you want.

I made an appointment as a walk-in a week a go and I am writing a review out of gratitude for the service I love so much. My hairstylist was Ellie and she first asked me in detail about the style I wanted and explained in detail what procedures could be done based on my current hair condition. I felt comfortable during the procedure, and I loved the meticulous haircut and curling styling at the end. I definitely recommend my hairstylist Ellie. ^^

I really loved my experience at M Hair and Beauty salon. It’s definitely worth the pay as you get the service. I had a lovely time getting my haircut and I was nervous since I had some bad hair cuts before, but I was able to trust Jade and she gave me a haircut that satisfied me. I've been coming to M hair salon for over 3 years and have had a great experience with multiple stylists. Beautiful, open space, most welcoming staff, stylists who actually listen to what you want and give you feedback and collaborate with you. All in all my experience was amazing! I love finding a place like this, that I can come again and again. Staff is very friendly, and I had my hair done by Ellie who is AMAZING with color.

I’m absolutely livid. After growing my hair out for over a year, I requested a trim that would leave the length intact, taking only a bit of the weight off the sides. When the stylist asked if I wanted the sides cut "a little," I emphasized VERY little. The first thing they did? Buzzed off 4 full inches. I went into panic mode but decided to see if we could salvage it, especially since I still had the length on top for my usual slicked-back look. I even explained that I like to style it back or with a part, depending on my mood. But instead, I walked out with a bowl cut with a slight middle part. To top it all off, they charged me an outrageous amount for what I can only describe as a botched job. Apparently, “very little” here translates to a whole four inches off. It feels like a lesson learned the hard way: without fluent Korean, even the simplest requests seem open to extreme misinterpretation. If you are looking for a men's haircut for long air (Wolf Cut) do not come here.

Kyla at M Salon has been my go-to girl for the last 2 years. She’s consistent, detail-oriented, and really looks out for your hair. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to dye or cut your hair in the LA area. The team at M Salon always take care of me, huge shout out to Kyla and Nicole. The service, care, and outcome allows me to leave feeling refreshed each time.

I've been bringing my whole family (my husband, my son, and myself) to M Hair Salon since they opened. They always provide excellent care and service. I've tried a few different perms, and I've never experienced any hair damage. I also love Michelle’s haircuts—she's the best!

I’ve been coming regularly for the past year here. Kyla is my designer. I still come here from Orange County even though it’s out of my way because I haven’t found a designer who can cut my hair exactly the way I want it. Plus they give you a cool hair wash and head massage after that is to die for.

M Hair & Beauty Salon has been my go-to salon for my haircuts. I always love my results and the way they style it after each cut. The staff is all super warm and welcoming and the salon itself is really spacious and clean. They also have a parking structure which is a HUGE plus in Koreatown and they are able to validate so you get FREE parking. Highly recommend!

I’ve gotten hair cuts, hair dye, perm, magic straight, etc. at M hair and always leave feeling satisfied. Everyone is professional, friendly, and tries their best to make sure you’re comfortable throughout your time here. They listen to what you’d like to try and share honest feedback. My whole family comes including kids. They also validate parking!
