I came to this establishment 9/23. Im natural nail gal “french manicure no acrylic” The establishment clean,ladies were lovely, and the atmosphere was welcoming… plus its down the street from my home soooo convenient and i loved my nails tipped well and felt great about returning. I returned today and omg totally different experience. I walked in i see a male nail tech servicing a customer and a woman nail tech. I smiled greeted everyone visible “southern hospitality” the guy never greeted back asked “what i was getting” I stated a gel polish change and im feeling festive so lets add some halloween designs… A guy nail tech comes from the back examines my hand for atleast 1min.. 1,2,-60. Im looking in confusion at him and my nails he’s examining. He states “you never got your nails done here” Im so confused b/c 1. Why does it matter if i did/didnt, 2. I can prove it i have online banking it wasn’t that long ago so it was kind of comical to me b/c i dont mind showing receipts and how does he know 🤷🏾‍♀️. I started to get upset but i kept it cool as a fan “they love pulling the angry black woman card”. So as i was logging into my online banking to pull receipts, My inner self said “You dont prove need to prove yourself, does it matter”? I just got up thanked them for their time told them nevermind and to have a beautiful day…. Im so disappointed and somewhat defeated b/c why are they being like this???!!! 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 *I dont think my nails were that bad for him to stare for atleast a min…

I have been to this salon 3 times, the first experience was great and I loved the outcome. The last two times my pedicure was not done correctly, I was not satisfied at all!!! I walked in with rough feet and walked back out the same way. Even when I mentioned it to the worker she acted like she fixed it and in the end, I wish I had went somewhere else. I will not be returning.

I paid upfront for my nails to be soaked off (very simple) and they did a terrible job. The owner asked the technician if i paid already... like are you dumb? AVOID THIS OVERPRICED WORTHLESS PLACE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

I am not satisfied with my nails. I came for a simple gel polish change. I get clear, because my natural nails are/were healthy. I believe if you can work on natural nails with a beautiful result then you will have my business. This place since the change will no longer have my business. The polish is lumpy, and it does not look good at all. Yutum was better.

If I could give them 20 stars, I would! This is definitely the best salon locally in Jax, all of the staff are so sweet and as soon as you come in they all greet you! My nail came out absolutely stunning, I showed Ms.Mindy a picture of what I want it once when I first arrived, and she knew exactly what to do! She is very gentle and a sweethear!!. Ms.Cherry did my pedicure and she is the sweetest lady you’ll meet 🤍. Mr.Joey help me as well with my nails and he is very attentive also a sweetheart! Also, I had an accident with my nail and I went to get it fixed and they fixed it for me, and Joey even made sure that my other nail were good to go!☺️ You will not regret your visit, I am officially making them my salon because they are just amazing. I can’t say that enough! 🤍 Sweetest people I’ve met!🤍

Shout out to Mindy! She was amazing, so friendly and thorough. My appointment did not feel rushed at all. She was meticulous in a good way. I could tell she genuinely cared about making my nails appear as flawless as possible (perfectly smooth, shaped, and filled) and they look great! I will definitely return here as a customer. FYI attached photos are taken over a day after my actual appointment. Update: Got my acrylics redone again months later and had someone else who was also 10/10 thorough. My nails look flawless (again)!

This place was our go to place. We went in one day 2 pedicures, a full set, 3 hours and almost $300 later we decided to NEVER go back. This happened about 6 weeks ago, giving the shop an opportunity to financially rectify the situation and they have not. We did not want the service "fixed" as the whole experience was horrible. My daughter would t even show me her nails until we were down the road as she knew I would show out. Attached is a picture of the nails within 1 hours from leaving. The gel was expired and would not dry the "black" stuff is from her jeans and the nails being sticky. Please DO NOT go here. They have new owners and they DO NOT know what they are doing.

At one time I gave Yutaim a 5 star rating. That was before management change and before Elaine and her staff left. After a lot of evasive answers about when Elaine would be back, “Mindy” agreed to do my nails. They looked good until she polished them. It didn’t go on well but she continued, even trying to cover up the “dimples” with a design. I went home and after a few hours (and discussing it with my husband) I called and politely asked to have them redone. She agreed and I came back the following day. She blamed it on “old acrylic fill-in” and I agreed to a new set. The day prior she also commented on how “thick” they were and made them thinner and more natural. When she applied the new set it was obviously extremely thicker than before, so she must have been upset about having to redo polish. She also covered up the entire nail bed so they couldn’t “breathe”. That is a possible fatal mistake, especially for someone who is chronically ill, like myself. I won’t be going back and I would be careful to watch your tech! (I have spent days and have raw cuticles from trying to file and fix my nails) The last pic of index finger not finished.

IF I could give 0 stars I would. Came here a month ago and the tension in the air was heavy. There was an issue with a married couple who worked here and management. But their son was still there and was great. Brought 2 granddaughters in for prom nails and it totaled to $370. I swiped my Amex, it said APPROVED. I TOLD THE GIRL IT SAID APPROVED. She said "no no I had to cancel I promoted it didn't go through!" (Sadly I should have pulled up my Amex app but didn't!" She told me to swipe my card again. I did and added a $30 tip even though my nails were not the color I chose and were not done how I asked but already been there so long I said "screw it!" The next day I thought I need to look at my Amex and sure enough a $370 and $400 charge as you can see on the photo. I called them first and she apologized. I don't want apologies I want money back into my account because my APR IS 23%. She told it it would take 5-7 days. NO!! I got my nails done you want your $$ now. Not in 5-7 days. So I contacted Amex and told them. They told me ok it would be 24-48 hours on Friday. Today Thursday I get in and the $ is not in. This nail salon disputed my dispute and Mindy called me today apologizing that it was a mistake and this is a process to refund me my $. Needless to say I'm not going to return and would suggest to find another place. There are a ton of salons that won't steal your money.

Had been going to Elaine for almost a year and she was the absolute best. Been calling for a couple of weeks to make an appointment kept being told she was on vacation for a while. Today we stopped by with hopes Elaine might be in or someone could let us know when she would be back. Was told she and her husband sold the place and moved to another state. Got convinced to give new techs a try, this was by far the worst nail job I have ever had. I immediately took my nails off in the parking lot. I don't want anyone to make the same mistake we did or wait around for Elaine and Alex to return because that's not happening.

I’m loving my Puerto Rican/Cuban flag Nails right now and I’ve never had an issue anytime I’ve been there. I would definitely recommend this salon they do a great job.

DON'T PAY WITH CARD OR SMART PAY Service is polite enough and the facility is clean. As far as business practices, I was douped by faulty POS machine and my card twice charged. My bank stopped the additional transaction but shop personal told me my card didn't go through so I had to use a different one. That transaction went through and I was told my original payment would be refunded. Both transactions cleared my bank. I have returned multiple times for a refund. This going on one full month and still not resolved. Everyone is feigning ignorance or innocence, neither of which gives me money back. I am in the process of filing a fraudulent transaction. I would have even accepted a gift card in exchange. I will not be returning to this shop.

Here is my honest and professional review of Yutaim Nail Spa. Coming from a Salon/Spa owner herself. I’ve been in the industry since 1990. I’ve owned 3 nails salons and the opened a full service salon/spa salon 2000 in Massachusetts. I offered service such as hair, skin, nails, pedicure, massage, Vichy shower, body mud wraps, full body waxing, laser hair removal and we also did professional makeup 💄 First thing I want to mention, the lady I had didn’t even great me or even ask me how I wanted my toes cut or filed. My pedicure was extremely painful because she kept digging into the sides of my toe nails and the cuticles with the same file she so aggressively filed my toenails with. I did let her know she needed to be more gentle. when it was time for lotion this is where I’m confused, the lotion was placed on the legs only?? No massage on the feet??? Huh…ladies lotion should go on the feet and the feet should be massaged with the lower leg. It’s a pedicure? Yes? I did not see any of the metal implements come out of anyone thing that looked sanitized such as a dry UV machine or an unopened container or even a wet container. So I’m a little concerned about sanitation. They could also use a little bit more training with how to use their products. On the positive side, I was greeted at the front door 😁 and my polish did come out nice and clean… will I be returning… I don’t think so.

I called while I was 30 minutes out, on a Wednesday afternoon, to see if they could take me for a dip manicure. Walked right in with no wait. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I tried chrome for the first time and Mia did a fantastic job! I specified that I like a thinner finish with rounded corners, and she went above and beyond to ensure that my specifications were met. She took her time and was very detail oriented, and I still made it out in exactly an hour. The color selection was also wonderful and prices were very reasonable. Thanks Yutaim team 😁

I could see that the person doing my nails was pretty young and more than likely pretty new at doing nails, and that isn’t a problem with me. I have plenty of patience for people who are learning, but as he continued to struggle with my nails, he was more and more rough with how he handled them. He had to redip my nails several times. After filing, he had to redip my thumbs completely, and they were very thick. I asked him if he could make them thinner and he rolled his eyes at me, filed them slightly and asked me if that was good enough. It didn’t seem to make any difference so I asked if he could get them a little thinner and again he rolled his eyes at me. I feel like my nails speak for themselves. They don’t look good. The color is filed completely off in several places and my thumbs are still very thick and lumpy. I don’t go to a nail salon for a necessary maintenance, I go as a choice. I go to choose to pay money to decorate my nails and I find it highly disrespectful to have a young man roll his eyes at me when I make requests with the money I am paying for a service. Had he apologized for the error and corrected it… or even just nicely corrected the problem I had an issue with, I would have been perfectly content. A real lack of customer services in a customer service industry. I will mention that the girl next to me had absolutely stunning nails, so maybe my bad experience was a fluke. I wish I had opened my mouth and asked not to pay full price.

I don't know what it is about Jax but it's been super difficult to find a nail salon with consistently good service and outcome. Thank goodness I finally found Yutaim! Very pleased with my nails every time I leave and Elaine is great with her customers. EDIT: updating my review months later because I consistently have phenomenal experiences here. Elaine's experience is evident and I cannot recommend her enough.

The salon itself is really nice, spacious and clean. I got the lavender pedicure ($40) and it was so nice, the foot and leg massage was great. I’m disappointed with my gel manicure though, I have never had a gel manicure chip in my 15+ years of getting them, and this one chipped within 4hrs of getting home. I am quite sure that they would fix it if I went back, but I really don’t have the time to go back—so I’m disappointed that this is how my nails look. For a $35 manicure, I expect it to look great for 2 weeks. A day later, I’m also seeing a dozen or so tiny scabs along my cuticles from being cut too deeply with the cuticle remover. I wanted to give Yutaim a try because it’s closer to my house, and they are very efficient, but I’ll be going back to my previous salon where they’re more meticulous.

i added a pic of what i asked for and what i got! it was only $60 and it came out so good. i had a guy and i do not know his name he was a good nail tech but when he was filing at the last part it kinda hurt but after that it was fine. the whole process took about a hour and i’m deff coming back.
