I'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair, so I only go into a salon for a basic trim 1–2 times per year. Unfortunately for me, that can still cost quite a bit depending on where you go. Today, had my first experience at M Salon, and it was exactly what I needed. Just a quick consultation, wash, and cut—and it didn't break the bank! Very happy with the results and with my stylist, Torrie. I'll be back for sure!

I went here for the first time, and I thought I heard good things about this place. My hair was dyed a year prior ombré. So it went brown to blonde, the only thing was the brown was fading. Some pieces of the blonde needed touched up. I ended up leaving with blonde orange all over, when I asked for a touch up to what I already had. Left with more blonde hair than I came in with. Then where the ombré was faded to the blonde it was red all over. She said it was orangish when she washed it out, then added toner but washed it out within 5 minutes. She ended up just charging $100 because I think she could tell I was upset. I still tipped $20 because I’d feel horrible not tipping even though I’m upset. I’ll never come here again, or recommend it.

All of the stylists here are so great! I've followed Rita, who has done my hair for many years, and this salon feels like such a good fit! Lots of different services are available for good prices. The salon is bright and clean too!

Ive been trying to grow out my hair and decided to book an appointment with Tori for a trim/style. The stylist was really rough with my hair and I had to tell her I'm sensitive multiple times. She was straight up just yanking a comb through my hair. I informed her how thick my hair is and while she was washing my hair she even commented on it. I Noticed about halfway through the 'trim' how much she had cut off (about 5 inches) and had to tell her to stop. She said she underestimated how thick my hair was and made the layers too short. She seemed inexperienced and said she didn't know what to do but offered to cut it shorter to try and fix the mistakes she had already made. She didn't charge me for the butchering I received. I told her at the beginning I wanted to preserve length because I'm growing my hair out. I said I just needed it shaped and now I'm sitting here in my vehicle crying because I can't even put it into a ponytail anymore and the top layer is inches shorter than my bottom layer. She undid about 8 months of hair growth. Do not go here, listen to the bad reviews, they are there for a reason.

I see Torrie and she's absolutely amazing! I have a very busy daily schedule and she finds a way to squeeze me in on short notice frequently! All of the staff are very friendly and it's a great atmosphere!

I had my hair done on Thursday and wasn't going to write a review for this place. I had to go to a different salon on Saturday to have my hair fixed and 5 inches chopped off after growing it out for a year. And no I didn't complain when I was leaving I just simply left because I saw how the cut was and knew the color could not be fixed in the same day. If it can't be immediately fixed I don't make a fuss. When I got home my hair was falling out in clumps from the bleach being left on for far too long. This was the first time bleach had touched my hair in 6 years and I've never box dyed my hair. I've only ever had it professionally done. I pride myself in taking care of my hair and keeping it healthy. To start I arrived at my appointment 10 minutes early and then had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. The bottom half of my hair was fried and literally falling out. The top half was orange. I tried to convince myself it wasn't that bad. Then I realized the cut was extremely uneven and choppy. I braided it that night to go out to try to hide it and could not hide it. People noticed and asked me about it even in a french braid. Luckily I didn't have to attempt to hide it for more than 2 days before getting an appointment at another salon. Overall the experience wasn't great. It's cute and all to have a dog there but unprofessional to have a dog that puts its feet on customers while they are getting their hair washed and a dog that tries to chew on my shoes while I wait. The shop itself looks run down. The straightener that was on this girl's station looked like it had caught on fire a few times and she had two blow dryers that both looked beat up. All the stations had unorganized piles of products to the point a product was falling off this girls caddy and the dog was picking it up and chewing on it and without wiping it off or inspecting it she sprayed it in my hair after the dog had it. I'm sure this salon has potential. And everyone has bad days. But for someone who's not only new to town but also trusts reviews on places to help them find a new salon when they move for work. This place was not it and the 4.7 stars was deceiving.

Recently I got my haircut at Great Clips it was so uneven and choppy I was devastated. I booked appointment with M Salon the girls were so nice and the lady who cut my hair she did amazing job fix it and even it out I will return

Super happy with my experience at M Salon. I love what Maggie is able to do with my dull, lifeless hair to make it look full of life and energy. Maggie is super easy to talk to and she is very knowledgeable about hair. She walked me through the ideas that I had and knew just how to make it look amazing. 11/10 would recommend Maggie and M Salon!

Chelsea Russman is the best hairstylist in Omaha! I have been going to her for 6+ years now and she hasn’t messed up once. She is the only person I trust with my hair. She listens to me, helps me figure out what will look best and she always does an exceptional job. She goes above and beyond. To top it off, she is sweet and personable. I always recommend her to my coworkers and friends and they haven’t been disappointed either. Would highly recommend her!!

I’m genuinely shocked by the good reviews, I’ve never met a more rude staff or seen a sadder “salon.” I took my daughter here for her first haircut and the stylist (whom I later found out was the owner) was so rude to her. She kept barking at her to move her head certain ways and didn’t bother to try to talk to her at all. I even explained lightheartedly that she’d never done this before and how excited she was for her first haircut to try to get the stylist to chill. Fwiw, she wasn’t wiggly or squirmy, she just occasionally looked up at me for reassurance. The stylist took maybe 5 minutes to hack it and it’s laughably crooked. Another woman came in while we were there and no one bothered to even say hello to her, she just kinda awkwardly made her way to the back to wait. Maybe it’s great if you’re an established client but if you’ve never been, never go.

Wonderful experience. Maggie responds very quickly to messages, and can almost always get me in if I need a stylist last minute. The actual place is always clean. I always get parking right in front. And Maggie simply does great work with styling, coloring, and trimming.

Mallory is probably one of the most down to earth, fun and extremely talented stylists in omaha....for sure. It's seems effortless to her..best haircut I've had in a long...long...time. I'm going back in 6 weeks for s highlight....highly recommend this salon.
