I recently visited MaddMethods Skin & Body and had the pleasure of receiving a scalp treatment and facial from their newest member, Suzette. The experience was absolutely fantastic! Suzette was incredibly attentive and made sure I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire session. She created such a calming and welcoming environment, which made it easy to unwind. MaddMethods is fantastic. From the open, light filled waiting area full of plants and calm music, to the technicians, to the treatment rooms; they've thought of every detail. The new signature scalp treatment is a tiny slice of heaven. As a high strung, type A person, I don't ever relax. Suzette put me to sleep during my scalp treatmen!! It wasn't just my scalp. It was my face, neck, shoulders and arms. All cocooned in warmth and gaining moisture I desperately needed. This is one service I will definitely be repeating when I need a little self care.

I had an appointment with Aubriana last Thursday and it was absolutely amazing. I booked the Madd Scalp Treatment and when I tell you my scalp has never felt so healthy after ONE session, it blew me away. Aubri was so sweet and made sure that every inch of my scalp was treated and done right. I can’t thank her enough for such a wonderful experience. I will absolutely be back and I will book with Aubri again!

This was my first visit in for a Brazilian. Dee welcomed me at the door with such pleasant energy. I had some questions about the wax that she happily answered. I got there a bit early and my Esthetician Abrianna was already ready for me. She was kind and professional. It was a great experience! I booked my next appointment before I left! I've been through at least 6 other places since my regular wax Goddess moved and I'm happy to say I finally found my place 😊🙏🏻 YAY!

When I arrived at the salon, I was greeted by Aubrianna, who was sweet and professional. I have been to Madd methods for facials which is an amazing service in itself, but one of my favorite parts of all massages and facials is the scalp rub. Madd methods is the only spa that offers this scalp experience in abq. It was amazing. Not only did it incorporate scalp massage, but there was also a face mask, shoulder and hand massage and i didn’t want it to end. This is such an innovative spa experience and everyone who tries it will love it. Thank you madd methods.

I went to maddmethods and got a Brazilian and the wax didnt even hurt like most places the price was perfect since i paid with a groupon and Aubrianna was a great listener I definitely recommend this place and definitely going back I give it a 5 stars for sure

Dee and the MaddMethod team are AMAZING!! Dee makes my skin and my soul feel healed and in total zen. Facials with Dee are so much more than just a facial. She provides an experience with her high quality products, the sound bowls, and the massage she gives is like out of this world. Dee offers an amazing spa facial service! I myself am also an esthetician and her service is top tier! She doesn’t leave anything to chance, atmosphere, the products, facial, massage, guided meditation…literally everything is perfect! She is so in tune with the physiology of the body that in her upper body massage she can feel the slightest changes to your muscles, inflammation and help you find ways to help find balance your body and spirit. Her healing hands are a unique find in the “skincare” realm. She is much more than just an esthetician! I HIGHLY recommend her service as often as you can squeeze into her schedule!

As someone who doesn’t have breakouts, I wasn’t sure I “needed” a facial. But the MaddMethod is real and you’ll leave feeling cared for, relaxed, and pampered. In only 90 minutes, I received a customized facial, an arm and neck massage, a moisturizing paraffin wax treatment for my hands and forearms, lymphatic drainage, a scalp treatment, a guided meditation (what?!), and a hand massage I didn’t know I needed. I basically floated home, but not before I was handed a fresh cup of herbal tea on my way out. In the past year, MaddMethods has gone through a glow-up nearly as big as the one you’ll leave with once you start coming here! They moved into a spacious, light-filled, warm space with cozy corners for you to melt into the vibes. The MaddMethod staff is so knowledgeable and can always recommend products, or warn you about ones you shouldn’t be using. In the new expanded space, they now offer more services than EVER and this can be your one stop shop for all your self-care needs. There are few places in Albuquerque where, after no time at all, the people there feel like family. Lucky you—you’ve just discovered one of them.

Had my first ever spray tan today, my Esthetician was Krysta. Wonderful, highly professional service. She answered all my questions and went over post op care. The whole experience eased my mind and was relaxing. Great service and will definitely return. She is amazing !

I had a 90 min facial with Dee the morning of my brothers funeral and I couldn’t think of a better way to not only taken a moment to relax but to prepare mysef to take on a very hard day. She played a grieving meditation while I was under the lamp and left the room so I could have a moment to myself and not have to hold anything in. I was so appreciative of how she customized everything to help what I was going through and made me feel so safe in the process to just feel what I felt. Her vibe and set up was more than I could ask for. Zay was also so so sweet, professional and the whole experience there was nothing shy of amazing. I highly recommend any service from them, no matter what you’re going through.

I relieved a spray tan today with Krysta today, she did amazing job. She made me feel super comfortable and she was super knowledgeable about the spray tan experience. I will definitely be going back and booking all my appointments with Krysta. she is amazing I can’t recommend her enough!

If I could give MaddMethods more than 5 stars I absolutely would. My future husband has to take lessons from maddmethods!!! The facial I had today… I know there’s a price, but the experience is priceless!!!! I love love love this place!!!! Update 4/13/23 I have been going to MaddMethods since 2018 for Brazilian waxes, the quality of MaddMethods environment/vibe/services/products are priceless! I recently had a Vajacial and honestly it was the best experience I've ever had! Well worth it! If you are struggling with ingrown hairs, discoloration or just want to feel super fresh and relaxed after a wax this is definitely something you do not want to skip. I felt super comfortable, she explained everything she was doing, and I left my wax/vajacial feeling like a MILLION bucks.

Well! 5 STARS once again, I was in last week for a spray tan by Krysta, very professional, she did not make me feel uncomfortable in any way, she was quick and my tan came out even, the color was amazing and not orange. The setting of this place is absolutely gorgeous! So calm and peaceful! Got a Brazilian wax by Zay and by far it’s been the best wax I’ve received! He makes you feel very comfortable the entire time and really takes his time. It was not painful at all and very precise! 10/10!! 🩷

I had my first ever Vajacial with Krysta and to say it was amazing is an understatement. I get waxed every 5-6 weeks and decided to the vajacial after my most recent wax. Krysta was amazing and the vajacial was much needed self care! It’s a great pick me up and leaves you feeling moisturized and refreshed. ❤️

Krysta took her time and made me feel so comfortable during my Brazilian wax. I followed the wax with a Vajacail that made me feel pampered and luxurious! My skin was glowing ✨ The space is clean & beautifully decorated. I highly recommend Maddmethods!!

MaddMethods is literally the best place to get waxed! They make you feel so comfortable & is the least painful of waxes I’ve ever received! I combined it with a vajacial & it was literally life changing & it had me wondering why I never got one sooner!! I have less ingrowns and my wax stayed softer/smoother for longer & felt so refreshing! I highly recommend MaddMethods for all your waxing needs!

Teen facial with Zay is a must! Took my boys in, 16 and 13, two different skin types and issues and they absolutely loved it. Zay provided an individualized and very detailed skin care routine for each of them. Knowledgeable, friendly and professional. My boys are ready to follow their plans and are excited to come back.
