I received a fantastic color job from Danielle this evening! I am so pleased with the end result. I didn’t color my hair for 6 months so it was long overdue - my hair looks so fresh and the color is perfect, exactly the shade of blonde I was hoping for (which has not been easy to find previously!). And the blowout was amazing, best one I’ve had in years! Very impressed with my first experience at Madison Reed. I will definitely be returning!

Terrible management on Duane Street / Manhattan the manager doesn’t have customer service standards. They mistreat people at their own convenience a very disorganized place.

Really quick, easy, and reasonable. The membership is worth it. The color is very good quality too and leaves my hair feeling silky and soft. I did accent balayage, roots, and a gloss. I have seen Olga, Sass, and Danielle - all wonderful.

The good: Great service, nice people, the color match was a little darker than what I previously had but it was a well done hair color and blow-dry. The bad: They didn't clean the hairbrush, nor they sanitize them before my blow-dry. I had to tell them if they could clean the brush, they changed one but they still used another one that had someone' else's hair. Due to this, I don't think I will go back.

I recently visited Madison Reid to have my daughter’s highlights corrected, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The stylist did an amazing job putting a toner in her hair, transforming her highlights beautifully. The salon itself is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly, professional, and clearly skilled at what they do. I highly recommend Madison Reid to anyone looking for quality hair services!

I’ve been coming to this location since it opened and get my roots done every few weeks. It’s so convenient and the staff are all friendly and do a great job. I’ve also had the blowouts here and always love the results.

The Tribeca location is the BEST place to get your roots done! They do the most incredible color and the vibe of the place is amazing!!! Highly recommend if you want your hair to look beautiful, but also have a great time with everyone that works there!

Update to my review: The issues around scheduling at the salon had become punitive to both clients and the colorists, deliberately antagonistic. I have canceled my membership and can no longer recommend Madison Reed Salons. I recommend the Tribeca salon, it is convenient, affordable and always good hair color. Shaenna is the best. She is knowledgeable, explains new products and offers solutions but is never pushy. She really understands customer care goes beyond just putting color on your roots. The one negative about MR is a new push by management for the service to be more of an assembly line. I have had my booking moved from Shaeena in an effort for clients to take another colorist. They should let you book with the colorist who knows your particular issues and concerns.. if they insist on this assembly line proceeds I will be leaving. I want to feel my concerns are understood. This move is troubling.

it's always busy at MR, but all the stylists are super nice and very knowledgeable. it feels a little rushed and assembly-line because they seem to be short handed. this time, i was left waiting for a hair wash for way too long and could feel the product burning my scalp. i love the products though -- my hair smells great, and looks healthy and shiny after coloring.

Awful - tried this place a few times and had the same bad experience. The people that work there are not trained. They leave you alone in the chair with burning hair dye and you have to go find someone to wash it out. After they wash your hair you are left with soaking wet clothes and hair and have to dry your hair yourself. They get dye all over your forehead, neck, and clothing that is impossible to remove. Don’t waste your time. Go to a real salon.

Fabulous! I tried to get an appointment Friday night yesterday for today Saturday and couldn't because it was last minute and they were booked in Tribeca. I saw a waitlist option and thought they wouldn't bother to call me if it should ever clear ,but they did-twice and at the time I wanted today Saturday too! I was at Soulcycle, missed the call and then they tried me again-perfect. I walked over Great Customer Service so friendly and accommodating! Thanks Gals please find out who called me and did my roots and blow out and share my appreciation. Jennifer V.

Madison Reed always makes coloring my hair fast, easy and painless. My only comment is I wish there was a way to contact someone on the day of the appt. The text on the app doesn't work. I've never had anyone respond to my texts from the number directed on the app. Other than that, always a great hair color/treatment.

I was sent the wrong color. The colorist didn’t listen to what color I was looking to achieve. I applied the color the color was ugly and now they are refusing to pick up the phone or respond via email or text. Worst customer service. I won’t buy again!!!

I’ve been a member for a long time and appreciate the services offered by Madison Reed. The Tribeca location is by far my absolute favorite one in NYC. The entire team is so welcoming and they do what they do so well.

Even though it was very crowded the day I went to the tribeca salon. I was treated with courtesy and all the stylist worked together to make sure no client was left hanging. I had a great blowout too. The Tribeca store manager Shaina was great and helped me start to devise a recovery plan to cover roots and address my over sun bleached hair as a result of a season in the Florida sun.

I scheduled all over color with a blow out. Ny colorist colored my ends only. I left with patches of gray all over my roots. Horrible Horrible Horrible service at Tribeca
